I would like to thank and recommend Abbey Carpets - Livermore for the stellar results they delivered in the installation of my Karndean plank wood flooring. I have been working on building my dream kitchen and home remodel for a long time, and now, I have finally realized my dream. The beautiful Karndean plank wood floors that I purchased through Abbey Carpets look absolutely stunning in my home!I have real hardwood floors in my living room, but did not want to deal with installing real wood in the kitchen due to potential water damage issues. Surprisingly, the Karndean luxury plank floors actually match pretty well with my existing hardwood floors.I am so grateful to have worked with Abbey Carpets on my flooring project. Thanks again to the Abbey Carpet team for their contribution in helping me realize my dream kitchen and home remodel!!!

We ordered our sheet vinyl flooring from them, and had them inatall as well. We got congoleum to replace some linoleum in the kitchen and the laundry. Mike and George showed up on time, taped paper over our counters and cabinets, plus made a plastic sheild to keep dust out of the house. Our floor was a bear to get up, but they did a great job - frequently vacuuming so no dust will spread. Then they leveled the cement a bit here and there, sealed cracks and applied sealant to the floor, then glue. The floor went in, base boards and appliances were moved back along with furniture and the process was repeated for the laundry room. Throutout the whole day the guys wete cheerful and friendly and fun to work with! They also thoroughly cleaned behind themselves and disappeared like constuction ninjas - no trace left behind!

I recently had Abbey Carpet replace my sunroom, living room, and kitchen floors. I am extremely pleased with the final product. Jennifer was excellent in guiding me through the entire process of determining the best flooring for my home, selecting the best colors, and scheduling the makeover. The workers were very professional and very efficient. I am so happy with my floors. I highly recommend Abbey Carpet if you are planning to get new flooring.

The glowing reviews for these guys are dead on and they are absolutely the most professional contractors I've ever worked with. We refloored our entire house with Karndean looselay LVT which involved a fair amount of demo, refinishing the subfloor in some areas to make it super smooth, and adding underlayment to bring the old part of the house level with the newer part. To do this, Abbey brought a crew of five really nice guys who 1) clearly like working together, 2) exuded total competence and 3) were incredibly respectful and accommodating of us. Although they worked like demons, there were constant reminders that they clearly cared about doing a really good job. Some examples: 1) at one point Josh, the foreman, pulled me aside to point out that there was an area of the old subfloor that still squeaked a bit even though they put about 50 screws into it because he wanted me to know they did everything they could, 2) even though I hadn't asked or paid for it, they spent a ton of extra time getting the area around the front entry hall level (adding self- leveler to the low spots and sanding the high spots) because they thought it was important 3) I frequently heard the guys talking to the each other about how to make it look really good and 4) when they didn't know I was watching I saw how they selected each plank to make sure any repeating pattern wouldn't be jarring. Reflooring an entire house requires that every single thing sitting on the floor, beds, lamps, tables, chairs, appliances, toilets etc. is moved at least twice so the disruption is pretty intense. But Abbey did all this in a way that minimized that disruption as far as they could, always left the house in as manageable a state as they could every night, and finished in just 5 days just like they estimated.

The install team Levi, Josh and his assistants did an outstanding installation job. We used them for the entry way and closet, downstairs family, dinning, bathroom, kitchen and laundry room. As well the stairway and upstairs hallway, a total of 1400 square feet of Waterproof Vinyl Stone Flooring. The install team arrived before 8:00 AM and worked non-stop until 5:00 PM every day until the job was finished in two weeks. They did a complete demo. Moved the furniture and piano, removed and re-installed the washer/dryer and bathroom toilet. They did an absolute outstanding job on the stairway steps which some of the contractors I contacted did not want to attempt. I would definitely recommend Livermore Abbey Carpet.

Be very careful dealing with Abby carpets, we look at getting new flooring for our family room once we selected a flooring they measured our room with is 14 x 14.5 but their estimate was 266 sq feet. 30% more than the room than the 204 sq the room is

We used Abbey Carpet for our bathroom floor in 2017. Flash forward to 2022 and we decided to do most of the house because we were in between dogs and needed an upgrade from 1967. Levi was great with us, we did have an order error but he was able to correct it. Installation took 4.5 days and we worked out of our kitchen/family room! The end result was great! We love the hardwood floors. I know we had a bit of back and forth because my husband wasn't sure if the wide planks would work but it did! We also did our master bathroom area/shower and when the floor went in, it was gorgeous. We get a lot of compliments for our floor choice!

Levi was great. Unfortunately the flooring came and it wasn't what was expected. It didn't match and looked ridiculous. He fixed the order, replaced the already installed floor with no questions asked. He addressed all the imperfections and blemishes I did not like. After it was all said and done, the floor is perfect! We love it

Pros Very friendly owner and completed the job on time. They did a wonderful job on our floor. Cons They left our toilets really messy- it took a lot of cleaning and bleaching to restore our toilets to a usable state.

My husband and I moved to Diablo recently and wanted to install carpet to the new home theater that was built in our home. After visiting several carpet stores, Abbey Carpet & Floor Livermore had the perfect carpet available we had in mind. The total cost with inatallation was very reasonable. Gary and Michelle were very responsive and answered all of our questions along the way. The techs who installed our carpet were friendly and professional. We were able to have the carpet installed approx. a week after our purchase, which is much faster than most others quoted us! After the installation was complete, the room looked gorgeous and just the way we imagined it. We will definitely reach out to Abbey Carpet & Floors for our future flooring needs!

Can't say enough about the great customer service from the first time entering the store with Levi assisting us! Ordered flooring and installed with very little wait time. I would recommend the Livermore location to ANYONE! And if you're lucky enough to get Josh and Roy to do your install know you're in great hands! Will definitely use them from now on! Oh and while you're in the store you need to buy their olive oils!!!!!! Garlic and lemon olive oils are sooooo good! Thanks to all at Abbey!

The staff at Abbey Carpet were great to work with. We had an idea of what we wanted, and they were able to guide us in the right direction with their ample showroom. The install team arrived early in the AM, and worked nonstop. We have a lot of heavy furniture, and they moved everything without damage. Overall great experience. -they installed carpet for our stairs and upstairs living spaces.
