I was exhausted after getting off work at 4:30 AM and from waiting for a tow company to come (I didn't arrive at the auto shop until 10 AM or so) and they really took care of me and even allowed me to nap in the reception area while my car was getting fixed. “This place is fantastic. I called Mercedes because I was worried my car was overheating, it’s my first time owning a Mercedes. They wanted $300 dollars just to look at the car. I called A&B and the gentleman I spoke to was amazing. He wasn’t worried about charging me money, he was just worried about helping me. I wish I had taken his name down cause he deserves the credit, but he let me send him a picture of the temp gauge and told me it’s normal for Mercedes to run where I see the temp this time of year. He could have told me he needed to see the car first just to get that money for the diagnostic but instead he took time out of his day to sit with me on the phone, receive a picture from me, and put my mind at ease. Trust me when I say if the car stays this hot during the winter I’ll be taking my car here cause I know I can trust the service to be honest and fair. “I needed a new battery and after purchasing one I found the car is one where the battery is way back under the windshield. I could done it in my past especially with YouTube etc but it’s just not something I can do anymore. Five Star immediately offered their services, looked at what needed to be done and discussed it with me. There were a few customers in front of me which they took care of but they got the job done and got me out in a reasonable time. I was quite impressed by them.”

6070 Stanford Ranch Rd, Rocklin“They put a number on your vehicle so they know who came first. I was the fifth in line and people who came after me, there was more than a couple that left before me. I lost count of how many. When I asked the cashier, she said that the number of the vehicle I said yeah I know but people that came in after me left before me I don’t want to go on and on about it so I said oh OK. I’ve been to a Jiffy Lube where they lie to me and told me they changed my oil long story short. Once I moved to Auburn I started going to this Jiffy Lube and put all my trust into them. So far that’s my only complaint is people leaving before me when I got there before them like way before them. I think it’s just a Jiffy Lube thing which I understand because people are quicker than others. It’s like going to the store and wondering what line to get into. Like which one moves the fastest well, you can get in line before somebody but their line moves quicker and they’re out of for you because that person is faster at the register. Same goes for Jiffy Lube it’s Just frustrating. It’s also frustrating when you’re just sitting there waiting to get into the bay and the vehicle in front of you isn’t being worked on and then you see people going in after you, but leaving before you, and finally you get to go into the bay”

“This review is mainly for Steve (their Tire installer). He is a little brunt, but extremely honest. He has replaced tires on 4 of our vehicles, and done an excellent Job. He even noticed on one that the tires I had ordered were all damaged, and pointed it out before installation, so that we could exchange them for good tires. He also is very sharp and follows your instructions with precision. Steve also is good about replacing the valve stems, which is extremely important on our pre-TPMS vehicles. As for the customer service experience with the phone line (good luck getting an employee), and the folks who check you in are slow if you can even find one--same with checkout & vehicle pickup. I haven't used Walmart for any other vehicle services, but the conventional wisdom is that if you do take your vehicle to a quick lube place, you only take it there for lube changes, so that when they over torque your drain plug bolt or forget to fill your oil you can show it was not another shop's fault.”
