ATM breaks and takes your cash, staff is useless and can’t fix anything.Apologizing doesn't make up for your staff not being able to address the issue and per them its a known issue, so perhaps you should put the ATMs out of order if they don't work right.

Always long lines. Banks/credit unions know that lunch hour and after work hours are the busiest times. Why would you only have one line open during the busiest times of day? Makes zero sense and is very inconvenient.

I have been banking with all the biggies for 55 years beginning with my first job, a paper route in Ft. Lauderdale Florida. Golden One respects you and remembers you regardless of who the Bank Employee may be. So happy we found each other outside of the haystack of corporate greed disquised as bankers who could care less about the customer with less than millions on deposit. Strength in numbers, Esprit De Corps. Keep getting even better. !

The worst bank I have ever had to deal with. I'm 80 years old so you can only imagine how many banks I have used over many generations. THIS IS THE WORST! Bad management, bad teller training, bad teller attitude, Rude, Ill tempered, Poor service, Incompetent Customer service. Long lines, Constant new faces because employees have high turn over and are obviously miserable, hating working there. I had one employee tell me that she doesn't even bank with Golden 1 because she knows what goes on behind the scenes. My account is constantly being frozen because of supposed compromise. I don't believe it. I think it's the banks negligence. That literally never happened with the other banks I have used over the years. Be four warned you will not be happy and you WILL be mistreated it if you bank with Golden 1.

Went inside right when they opened up to ask a few questions and possibly open an account,, person behind the counter was dismissive to my questions and seemed half asleep,, the person didn't even try to help just answered my questions with straight no's until I just walked away because I could see I was getting nowhere at the counter..

Worst coop bank I ever used. I tried to make a deposit of $400 cash and the atm said they could not return one or all of my cash depositEd and bring the receipt inside. I did that and the lady said I needed to call my bank. More than a week has passed and Golden 1 is not returning my $400 cash. Would not recommend them at all. No desire to rectify or even research the problem but are quick to keep my cash.

Banking is an important part of life. You want your experience to be a little Personal yet very professional. This is a Credit Union, owned by its members, aka ME. So I look at this experience as the employees are mine as much as yours. Golden1 as an institution is about a 4 star experience overall. Online banking adequate and fees pretty good. However this particular branch falls short in more ways than I want to articulate. The lines are always out the door, with on average of two tellers at any given time. Minus 1 star. When you enter, there are more employees sitting at desks trying to open new accounts, sell Loans etc than tellers to assist their members. However when you do finally get to the tellers they are typically nice - let's go neutral on this. When a line formed out the door one day and there was 1 teller working and 4 sitting at desks, often talking to co-workers I asked the manager why they could not assist the people in the line. Though no members were sitting at the desks, the manager said they were waiting for appointments. Most transactions I make here are of the 2 minute variety, similar I suppose for most members. My thought is one of these employees could take a member to assist until their appt shows. Instead they watched a line of 12 of their employers wait in line extending outside in the winter weather. Minus 1 star for lack of courtesy and poor manager reaction. The employees almost always follow the lead of their supervisors mentality so I don't see this improving anytime soon.

Horrible service. Long lines. Unbearable wait times when calling...up to 35 mins, then I hung up. Poor management. Every employee is unhappy and in need of an attitude adjustment.

I came in to make a cash deposit and the female (manager I assume) told me that I brought too much money... like isn't this a bank? I get it that money counters can be temperamental but it's literally your job. I was questioned about my profession and felt completely judged and offended. I have never had this issue at other branches so it's safe to say I won't be coming back to this location.
