“Honestly I love this place! I work for a group or attorneys in DTLA nad whenever they want to arrange a gift, I instantly suggest wine/spirits and this is my go to. I recently had to find 3 bottles of a certain Brunello di Montalcino 2016 for an attorney who just returned from that region of Italy and wanted to gift it out. After searching online for a while I decided to just check here in person -THIS PLACE HAD IT. The staff is very nice and laid back and it's tucked away in a cool food court area.”

“What an absolutely wonderful wine place to accidentally stumble upon while getting my morning coffee. James was the name of the gentleman who helped me and really took his time explaining the shop and it’s history and nearly all of the wines in stock one by one. I ended up, leaving with four separate bottles, all new to me, and I am very excited to try them. This place is approachable and well laid out and I will make sure that I visit anytime that I’m in the area. I highly recommend just popping in for a look and maybe a quick sip of wine.”

“Adorable deli and market next to the beach with great sandos, as well as a vast selection of Italian foods and treats. I got the Turkey Deluxe which was quite good. The deluxe option comes with lettuce and tomato, which is pretty standard in my book. I love the option to have your sandwich heated, and that you can modify and add items like avo, bacon, olives, and many other goodies. The regular size was more than enough for lunch. The sandwich was a bit heavy on the mayo and the bread was just a bit dry. The turkey itself was great, but I found the cheddar cheese selection overpowering, would definitely only have Swiss or provolone next time. Service was great, sandwich was up in about 5 minutes after ordering. Metered parking was really easy, and the outdoor eating area by the beach was perfect! Definitely a classic spot!”

“This is one of the last authentic Liquor stores that I feel is left in our neighborhood it has been there for over 50 years there are no cages big windows when you go to check out just a very nice friendly atmosphere from the owner to the employees if you want to purchase something and have a conversation that’s exactly what well happen if you want to stop in and say hello anyone of the team members will stop what they’re doing and chat with you it hasn’t changed much other than the name which used to be Yukon liquor and Then ABC liquor store they are fully supplied with everything from ice cream candy bars cold beverages of your choice and of course a friendly hello and goodbye and thank you for coming. it’s definitely part of The north Torrance family I have nothing to say but good things about every single person working there specially the owner he will go out of his way to make you comfortable and make sure your needs are fulfilled Five stars all the way.
