“Updating this in April of 2024. My below comments still hold true. I would also add that I love their Barrety! You can arrange for up to 20 people to take a private class. It’s a great way to hang with friends!This is one of my favorite studios in San Diego. First it's very clean and neat. Second, the staff is super friendly and personable. Third, the class itself is challenging yet appropriate for all levels. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced tucker, you will feel the burn and leave feeling like you got a good workout. I must add that this is great for people recovering from back injuries. Tightening my core has helped with my back problems! Make sure to take a class with John! He’s a great instructor and hilarious!!”

“I haven't shopped here yet just looked through the window. I am in need of a new racket to replace my Pro Kennex Silver Ace and Wood Donnay. Maybe sneakers . I have to get my act together first, I hope you take plastic and have a tolerance for non actual people. I think once I have what I need I will be able to focus more on what I bring to life's situations eg not being hung up. Sorry for the TMI. Really I hope I make it to the store it's April 20, 2024 I'm Mike I'm due for a birthday soon it'll be my 54th. Oh I used to play at Port Washington Tennis Academy and have an impressive resume even tennis wise but I'm not looking for a job here. I know you are near the DMV and McDonald's. I hope I make it. I studied the window a few years ago, you must really know what you are doing, I'm sure I can afford it, it's just I have to get a watch pay a phone bill maybe get a plane plus right now I'm in Oceanside so I'll have to take the coaster and walk or take a bus a ways, I think it might 3-4years to be on my game enough and to have a seat and ask questions to be able to be helped. And I know this is a very good store I do not see downgrading from a five star expectation and feeling. Im very tight with five stars here. Hopefully I'll be alright.more strife more learning to do.”
“I have done multiple transfers with Don and his wife over the years. Other shops in the county don't compare to the service and value you get with Don. I was once an FFL myself in California, and really feel for these people as I understand how they are constantly and continually harassed and abused by our State's communist regime. Residents of the county need to support local FFL's because if we don't eventually we will have a corporate dominated retail gun industry in California that will be in a position to dictate pricing.”
“Ive been coming here for 10 years now. And I'm never disappointed. They have a putting green surrounded by trial putters. They have 4 bays to test out clubs and I've never waited in line to try clubs out. Return policy is so generous. 90 days!!!!”

“They have everything you need for uniforms, badges, accessories, first aid and camping stuff. The woman who helped me, sorry I forgot her name, was extremely helpful. She helped me get the correct size and stuff for the uniforms. They also hemmed the pants to the correct size, which were ready in a couple of days. Plus, she could answer every question I had about scouting.”
“When I searched for Paradowski's it did not come up in the search and found it to be closed. I was shocked and confused but saw other reviews on the (closed) Paradowski's yelp page that it was still open, so I drove by. This used to be Paradowski's Swim and Sport, guess it got bought out by a larger company, Swim West. The logo still kept a remnant of the old business. If you're a swimmer, they have a wide variety of goggles, fins, as well as swim suits and wet suits and other swim related items that you'll have a hard time finding at a general sports shop. I came in to buy goggles when my old ones broke. I looked thru the goggles and they had both regular ones and optical ones with lenses that were like reading glasses so they had magnification in them. Thats the type of thing you won't find in a general sports store. The problem is that there were no prices listed on the goggles. The workers are friendly and they can price check items for you, but I found it odd that the same model optical goggles were cheaper than the standard ones. Guess I shoulda just got the optical ones. Swim west is located in the turn around area of a cul de sac, theres enough parking right in front. They took my name and that got me 5% off which I though was cool. I didn't see any of the discounted items from Paradowski's like swim caps from teams they had sponsored in the past for half off, (just extras that they sold for cheap.) If you're a swimmer they have a larger selection of goggles and items that you won't find in your normal sports shops, like a mask with the snorkel in the middle for lap swimmers, and things of that nature.”

“I reached out to vicious fight shop on IG, after seeing one of my Coaches Selina Flores post. Reached out to Victor to see if he had some gloves that I seen in Thailand. He didn’t have them in stock, but he said he would get them two weeks later. Victor contacted me on Instagram saying he got him. I drove all the way from imperial Valley to come get them. When I reached to shop, it was like a kid being in a candy store. He had all kinds of nice Muay Thai shorts and gloves that you can only find in Thailand. Victor is very knowledgeable of all the equipment that he has and he also makes some great suggestions.”

“Berry's is a staple in San Diego. Anything you need pertaining to athletic supply, they have it. Also, the staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I had patches for a letterman jacket made, and they came out perfect. I will be returning in the near future.”
