Classic example of a gas station that purchased the Shell name and never changed anything to reflect the company. The station is filthy. And there is no bathroom. They direct you to the restaurant two doors down for that.

The lady with the face piercings has a bad attitude and is rude to customers. She even said that she will refuse service to me!

Love this place.. I jist found out that the shell I always go to that is like practacly next door to where I live is no longer open 24 hours... totally sucks because I always am going there in weird hours like 2 am or something. That's why I loved this place... why did you take away the graveyard shift at the lemon grove ca store... so sad...

On August 3rd at approximately 6:45 p.m., I stopped at this gas station and paid for my gas inside with a Shell issued gift card. After my transaction was approved, I went out to pump my gas but inadvertently selected the wrong grade. I tried changing it to the correct grade, but it wouldn't let me. I went back in to explain to the cashier what happened, but he dismissed me and said that it wasn't his issue, that it was now between me and the card issuer, Shell. I asked for clarification as to why he couldn't restart the pump as I already paid for the gas. He said, "All I can do is try to process the card again." I swiped the card and, of course, it was declined as the previous transaction had been approved. I asked for a copy of the original transaction receipt, and he ignored me and continued texting on his phone. I told him my next call was to the Sherrif's Department because he was refusing to provide me for a service I paid for and refusing to provide me with the receipt of my original transaction. I went back out to my car to call the police and they dispatched a Sherrif to the location. While I was waiting for the Sherriff to arrive two individuals pulled up to the pump across from me and the cashier came out to meet them. The cashier went back into the gas station and one of the men followed him. I began to have an uneasy feeling and called the Sheriff's Department back; however, while on hold, the man came out of the gas station (holding an Arizona Iced Tea) and began to walk toward my car. He stopped at my gas tank and began trying to pull the gas nozzle out of my car (I didn't even realize that I hadn't put the nozzle back with everything going on). When he couldn't get it out, he jumped back in his car and he and the other man drove off. I tried to get the license plate number, but the car had no plates. The Sherrif arrived about 2 minutes later, but they were already gone. The Sherrif was able to get me the two receipts for my record and I will work directly with Shell to try and resolve the matter. The fact that the cashier called two thugs to intimidate me regarding our transaction is abhorrent. I couldn't wait to get out of there and will be filing a formal report with the Sherriff's Department, Shell corporate, and the Better Business Bureau. This cashier's actions should be a concern to his employer as they not only effect the fabric of his/her business, but the public's safety as well.
