“"We Lend More" really does lend more. Along with better loans, the staff and owner (I think it's the owner) are all very helpful, polite, friendly and treat you and your items with respect. They also have online invoicing to make it even easier to pay your bill. Plus - and this was huge for me - I needed a couple of extra days to renew the loans on my jewelry, when I called to ask - it was no problem! I have never been able to do that anywhere else. You can also text them too. It's worth the drive past any of the other shops in San Diego to go here, hand's down.”

“Enjoyable experience at Express Pawn on Balboa. Their protocol for assessing and processing jewelry is among the most professional i’ve seen. Yuly was knowledgeable, trustworthy, and very friendly. She even helped me discover some aspects of men’s rings that have changed my view on how I’ll style my jewelry. She goes the extra mile while staying down to earth. 4 stars because they’re still getting set up and selection is a bit slim and there’s no grading available for any of the diamonds but they keep things completely square and use their savvy to tell you the most they can about every piece. “There's so much to see at this pawnshop. Check out their tools, jewelry, instruments, electronics, and more OR bring any of those items in to sell or pawn. Their jewelry for sale are MUCH more reasonably priced than big store retailers/pricebreakers. Cash is king but they also accept card and apple pay. Ron and Hector are awesome, the store is nice and clean, and you never know what you may find there. Highly recommend checking out this family owned pawnshop.”

“Well, after 30 years together, we decided to get married! My husband was looking at Pawn shops to buy himself a wedding band. He had heard you can get more for your money if you check out the Pawn shops. We went to El Cajon Jewelry and Loan and after trying on a few rings, he found the ring he wanted. This was our first and only shop we went to! McKenzie was so helpful. She helped him get the proper sizing done so we could send it out to be made his correct size. They knew the wedding was just a couple of days away and her and Gary put in a request to get the ring back in time for the wedding. We really appreciated that! They were great! I mentioned that I had a few pieces of jewelry that I needed fixed and McKenzie said I could bring them in and they can have their expert fix them for me. No need to find a jeweler myself. McKenzie even called us after the wedding to congratulate us. That was so thoughtful! I was very happy and impressed with El Cajon Jewelry and Loan. I will definitely be back!”
