This store gave me the runaround when simply trying to return a can of refrigerant for the $10 core fee. Said they don't carry it, it's after 90 days, blah blah blah. It was purchased in national city and the receipt doesn't say anything about a 90 day window so why be difficult? Had to complain on the website who then contacted national city to finally get the green light to get it returned and reimbursed.
The manager was nice by the end of the transaction but considering all the unnecessary hoops to jump through they already earned the poor review. One of the employees tried pretending(?) they were the store manager I guess initially which also may have caused issues (especially since they were so unwilling to actually help).
Just a waste of time all around

I went there to get my battery checked. The young man told me that my battery was bad. I needed a new one. He also told me that he could assist me if I purchased the purchased the battery from them. We go inside so I could purchase the battery but there was note in the system saying professional install. The manager tells us both that the gentleman can’t install my battery because my car was too new. My car was 2014. It is far from too new. I told the manager that I really needed their help but he wouldn’t help me nor would allow the other guy to assist me. My car wouldn’t start. So, the guy that was helping went to look for the jumper machine. None of their machines were charged. So, I was stuck in their parking lot. I remembered that I knew someone close and he came to give me a jump. I drove down to O’Reilly’s Auto Parts the gentleman came out checked my battery and showed me the battery that would work best for my car. I purchased the battery and less than 20 minutes later, I had a new battery and my car was fine. It wasn’t too new that he couldn’t install it or had to make any factory resets like Autozone manager told myself and the other gentleman. Black women or any woman that needs help. Don’t go to Autozone especially not Lemon Grove!!!!! Go to O’Reilly’s Auto Parts down the street. Thank me later.

I love my Lemon Grove location.. Calvin helped test my battery before he was late leaving work.. offered to change battery but told him he should go if he late leaving work.. the new guy wasn’t sure how to help me and left me hanging, 40min later Angelo seen me waiting outside and asked what am I waiting for?.. he made it happen!! Got the right tool and changed the battery quickly!!! And I have to say his customer service skills was on point.. thank you so much I’ll be looking for Angelo on my next visit.. he’s actually helped me in the past and I was blown away how calm and courteous he was and asked his name today!!

I had a check engine light and your employee Gabby, I believe that was her name, was very helpful. Turns out I had a loose gascap that needed replacement and she was quick to find it and was on my way out in less than 5 minutes. Employees are always very welcoming and helpful. I live in Chula Vista and this store will forever be my go-to. Thank you!

I was in Lemon Grove visiting my son. The day I was leaving my wiper blade came off and it was raining. Donato was able to get it back on and get me back on my way to Wisconsin. He is a GEM. Thank you so much for your help

Talked to Danato on the phone and asked for a PVC and a PVC grommet, also asked about a starter for my 98 Mustang it has been acting up for about 4 years and when I went to get my PVC and grommet we started talking and he brought out the starter and I decided to take everything and glad I did, car is running great and starting everytime I turn the key ? ?. Thanks Danato

The employees helped me look up windshield wipers and they told me what I needed to get and I was out of there in 10 minutes. Store nicely stocked and clean. Also there's two disabled parking stalls by the entrance . Thank you ?

You get what you pay for!!!! Car having problems starting. I had purchased my battery from them couple yeats ago and went to have them check it. They said it was fine and that my alternator was faulty. Went to my mechanic and he did his tests. Battery bad alternator fine
