3307 Lemon Grove Ave, Lemon Grove“Great selection, great prices. I prefer spending my money on mom and pop businesses and I don't regret trying this place out. They have the basics and more, plus the owner is AWESOME, he's knowledgeable and friendly. Doesn't try to push any purchase he only makes suggestions. Keep it up”
“Blick Art is housed on 1844 India Street in Little Italy in San Diego. I had called so many places looking for foam core or museum board for my daughter's college project to no avail. Then, I remembered passing that store a few nights ago and called them. They had what she needed and when we arrived a salesperson called Dean knew exactly what we needed and helped us (thank you Dean) for great service and being so efficient and just making the purchase seem effortless! What an amazingly helpful guy who genuinely seemed to like what he does! The selections are really good and everything seems so well organized and clean!! I can't say enough how much I love being in a store where staff seem happy and the place looks great!!! I'll definitely be back as they have such a great selection of pens and most anything art related! Thanks Blick for being my new go to place even if you are 1/2 an hour away- you are worth it!!”
“I had a fantastic experience at the shop. They were really helpful and really put effort in connecting with their customers. I came here for some vinyls for my business. They have a a variety of vinyl colors I will definitely be coming back.”
“Very good materials, I got my first set of gouache there and they’ve worked just fine. My only issue is that its a bit overpriced, but I guess that’s normal with art supplies!”
“Love this place, this is always my go to place for htv. I make my own work shirts with holographic or glitter. They also have cup wraps and some padres transfer sheets.”
“WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!! Everyone there was so kind and helpful. I was given a discount for being a first time customer and buying lots of beads which is so kind! I was also given a pastry while walking around and every question I asked was answered. I will for sure be coming back! Thank you!”

7510 Hazard Center Dr #201, San Diego“I have been a teacher for 7 years, and today I decided to go to Lakeshore (the last time I visited this store was about 10 years ago). I walked out of there MIND BLOWN! The back to school sales are INSANE, and just EVERYTHING is quality material! The workers were constantly checking in with me and also offering to go check the back for more supplies! I feel like I have missed out for years now! They truly have the best selection and can't beat the prices for the amount/bulk they sell! I walked out of there with the best deals and the best items to set me up for the year!”
“The only place local to get your clay. They aren't really into the smiling service, or friendly offerings, or even a social atmosphere, but they're knowledgeable and reasonable. Out front is their clearance and final sale items. I would come back, especially for the lovely glazes.”
“Down to earth people, awesome prices, super knowledgeable! They stretched and framed my first 3 large canvases! Helped me visualize and determine what would look best! Thank you! My art friends and huge local artists have been coming here for years for their framing needs! They do custom wood panels and more!!”
“This is a dope place ran by awesome people. Everyone here is friendly, and unique. This is a place to meet all types of artists and creators. From clothing lines to paint this is your 1 stop shop. This place is about community. They have resources and are a pillar to the community. Come by and check out the art work!”

40 N 4th Ave, Chula Vista“Super busy on Saturday. The place was packed with no hand baskets and only a couple carts left. Lines were long because they only had 4 registers opened with 1 supervisor just watching. Unfortunately they didn't have what I needed. Their inventory was low.”
9AM - 7PM
1410 E Plaza Blvd Ste A, National City“My experience was great! I had a lady named Mary cut my fabrics and even though there was a long line in front of me she was extremely helpful and patient, just very good people skills. And of course I'll be back soon.”
“Honestly this store has what I need. I sometimes feel bad because it's always one cashier and the line is super long. But that's something I can't control. That's a management issue. Just wanted to give 5 stars to the older gentlemen who is always working the register. Not sure his name, but he's super polite and is always trying to maintain a clean area. He's very respectful and I appreciate him! That's all (:”
“Took the bath bomb class today, and was very happy with it! Lots more information than I expected (which is good, since I'm a complete noob), but easy to follow. Kerri was great with answering any questions, and taught at a level everyone could understand, regardless of experience level. Can't wait for the next class!”
