If you're looking for grown folk who get work done in the Mammoth/East Yosemite/Mono area, you probably found them. If you're an illiterate... I mean delicate little flower perhaps you should have someone with a little more grit do your project booking for you.

I've used Construction Specialty for years. They installed my septic system with up hill leech field pumping which has worked flawlessly for over ten years. They have delivered different types of rock over the years and on one occasion delivered six loads for flood protection under emergency conditions. Jeff, Kathy, Lana, Chase and other employees have always treated me courteously. I will continue to use Conspec.Thank you folks, Roger.

We own a small construction company on the central coast and when we were awarded a Caltrans project in Mono County we couldn't have done it with out Lana. Not everyone is rainbows and pom poms (myself included) but that doesn't mean they aren't a nice person. Lana helped me line up a lot of what we needed that didn't even benefit her and Steve. Way to go Conspec You can't please everyone but you did please us.

I can't say anything about this companies work but I can Say that I have had a lot of issues with their flaggers and drivers. Just because you might have been given a truck to drive for your company doesn't mean I give you the right to flip people off and cuss at them. You are branded and marked and it's a horrible look for your company. Any good employer would take that truck from you. You work on the roads/campgrounds/housing .. you do not own them. I will continue to write these guys and call until your crew has an attitude adjust. Flipping Uturns in front of the Village and missing a parking space (I didn't know you were going to) doesn't constitute cussing and yelling in your employee truck. We have had this snow removal company for many years at the same address. This season has not been too bad so far. On our worst storm this season, an official blizzard by classification with 3'+ overnight, our driver only came once in the AM. Our new snow removal driver has been coming some time around 5AM on snow days. Which is fine if he comes back later the same day. Two business owners live on the property. We both have service businesses in this town and we understand what it takes to do business properly and efficiently during severe weather conditions. If you are in the business of snow removal but can't perform properly on the big snow days? I understand that its not your fault that your driver was sick on our biggest day and could not return to clear our driveway. It was very frustrating for us service business owners/operators to not be able to get back into our driveway at the end of a very long work day. In my business, there are no excuses on the big days. If you are in any service business in this area, the big days is when we are needed the most and supposed to be at our best. I'm not writing this to critique the driver. I'm writing this because when I called this company to politely discuss some suggestions, solutions, and communicate what has not been able to be communicated with the driver so far, I was immediately treated with hostility. Lana proceeded to yell and not listen to anything that I had to say. I was trying to explain to her that the driver is putting the snow in the wrong areas too early, not giving himself enough snow storage for continued snow storms. I asked her not to raise her voice and to please listen to me. She said "Maybe we should start over" then started yelling again. A very bi-polar conversation on her part. She was even laughing at one point. My services are in high demand in this town because I work with efficiency, skill, professionalism, respect, and trust where most don't. I'm also an experienced chef and do not use or appreciate Yelp at all. Also residing at our residence is a Town of Mammoth Lakes employee and secretary of the local contractor's association. She also feels the representative of this company, Lana, was completely out of line This company's drivers will make a honest effort to do a good job. But any experience or interaction with Lana is to be avoided at all costs!
