This towing company is a complete JOKE.Please don’t call this company if you ever need a tow near Bakersfield/Lebec. And hope that AAA won’t route you to this company. Otherwise, good luck.Service: Local hauling

You’re better off getting picked up by aliens in a UFO than getting service by Ridge Route Towing, LOL.But seriously though, this company is sucks and they’re jerks. They’re so unprofessional and show no empathy.

Bastards left me and my daughter in the middle of the mountain at night . They were the closest place. Dude answered and said he didn't want to go that far out, call the next city. I told him the next City is in the opposite direction and further. Long story short I had to push a car with another car bumper to bumper 30 miles thru mountains for 3 hours. F this company.

Madison is our hero! After going back and forth with AAA with no help and no ETA, we just decided to call Mountain Towing. After a lot of back and forth logistics, Madison saved the day and got us a tow truck to a place where no one else would pick us up. She and Mike are our heroes! Thanks for helping us out!

A towing company that will target snow play visitors and residents that they don't like or want in their town. On 2/28/23 Our vehicle was towed illegally while parked at the Frazier park post office for less than 30 min. We never parked over night, and the sign posted only states no overnight parking. Besides checking our mail, we had to leave the car there for a few min due to heavy snow, and then walk up our dirt road to wrap up our moving and get our moving truck out of the snow. Once we were ready to complete our moving day I came across a post from a Frazier Park community group stating that visitors cars are being towed at the post office. We immediately ran down the hill to move our car and let them know we are residents. Showing I had proof of residency didn't matter or the fact that we weren't there for snow play. The post office staff are the ones who made the call with the excuse of towing visitors but since we weren't wanted in this community I truly feel this was a direct target to try and disable my family financially and legally. Yes, I'm livid now yes I raised my voice and pleaded that he would let me ride to the tow place because he wouldn't let me pay on the spot, the other towing company (they called several tow companies that day) allowed their victims to pay $525.00 to drop on the spot but our car they insisted on taking to their facility we had the funds! But the driver refused because I wasn't real pleasant, he decided to call the sheriff and when they pulled up he LIED and said I caused a dent on the side door, a dent the size of a dime that was already there. The coward claims I did this with my bare hands and told the officer he wanted to press charges. I was arrested and they still took the car and we payed the $525.00 to get it out. The entire community mocked my arrest online and also said they witnessed me cause damage to the sheriff. Job well done Mountain Towing and the entire community that tried to kick us while down on our last day here.

These guys really saved the day. My parents were stuck by Lebec on the 5 freeway off to the side and were scared. Called AAA and waited over an hour with no eta update. Then decided to just call mountain towing and they were there in 20 mins. AAA eventually called about 3 hours later still with no eta. By that time we had the tire fixed and was already back on the road.

Michael saved my family and me from the never showed AAA road side service. Four of us got back safe with our car to the mechanic. It could be a horo story for my four years old boy but end up with the TOW TRUCK saved the day. Thank you!

On 10/31/2022 at approximately 0840 P. M hrs, Adriver from this company was going down hill on higway 5 almost caused a major car accident. He was speeding over 90 miles/hr. He cut off a car in the middle line wich cause this car to swirled into my line. I had to moved to the emergency line in order to avoid hitting the car. The truck continued down hill speeding and cutting into other cars lines. My kids were crying and scared after this accident. I feel that this kind of driving can kill someone. I have a video incase is needed.

Our car broke down off of Gorman exit at 8:30 PM on the busy Labor Day weekend. We called AAA who told us they'd be there in an hour. An hour went by and then they said maybe in 2 more hours. We were so defeated and then we found Mountain Towing and they were so calming and got to us in 20 minutes and towed us all the way back home to LA! We probably would've still been sitting there 9 hours later if not for them. Mike was our driver and he was so great!

The guy was very nice, the price tho... they will rob you blind. If you break down at night make sure to wait until morning so it's cheaper and then call around and compare rates. 99% of the time they will make you feel like you should just pay the ridiculous price but if you don't wanna go broke, just refuse the help and play it smart. best of luck.

Don't break down on the Grapevine and expect assistance from the place! Do be prepared to wait four hours for help! We finally got someone to answer...just no one to show up even after 4hrs had passed. I sure will be prepared next time.
