“I didn't get gas so I can't speak much for the price of that, however, if you are traveling over the grapevine this is the perfect spot to use the restroom. They keep the restrooms extremely clean, it's always stocked and like other have mentioned, they have cute decorations up. The store has a good range of snacks and drinks to choose from if you don't stop at one of the nearby food places. There's also a well kept, large grass area behind the gas station that is a safe spot to take your dogs to the restroom.”

“Almost don't want to share this secret gem slightly off the beaten trail. The stars are only for the gas prices and convenience. The town's got all the ambience of a cement mine.”

“The people that fill up at Mobil, from my experience, have been very kind and generous. I met a guy named Evan who was a fellow Christian. God has certainly blessed this gas station!”

“Was on a return leg of a round trip from San Francisco to LA and back. Stopped for a fill up and food. I had a special need and the staff went way out of their way to accomodate our needs. Super friendly and helpful staff. The Subway food preparer (Veronica) was extremely patient and showed a lot of care taking my order.Overall clean location, inside and out. Clean restrooms as well.”

“Is it an Arco thing?! Just like the one located at Santa Nella, it is the cheapest gas station around the area. I mean, what a difference - I saw another not too far from here charging up to $0.60 more per gallon! How does that even work? It was the most crowded (reasonably) but easy to get in and out of. Keeping them in mind for my fueling needs on a NorCal/Socal run.”

“This is the cheapest gas in the area. If your gas light is on and you are going down the 5 and it's been hours since you left Castaic behind and you are super freaking out about gas, first you'll see the gas stations in Gorman, and you will be tempted to stop. Because you need gas and probably a potty break. But trust me... You can wait until Frazier Mountain Rd. It's only like 2 more miles and most of it is downhill. You can coast on fumes and hold out for Flying J. Because it's cheap, big, and clean. We walked in to find the restroom and my daughter looks around and says, "Why is there like... everything.... here? What kind of gas station is this?" "Well, it's a rest stop. Not just a gas station. It's supposed to be a place to rejuvenate." "They've succeeded," she said..I agree. They have their Wendy's, some decent seating, spacious shopping, clean bathrooms, and even a decent selection of last minute snow play accessories. Stop at Flying J. You'll be pleased.”

“Last month on my way back home to Southern California from visiting San Francisco I stopped here for snacks and a quick bathroom break. I had the misfortune of dropping my keys into a drain without any shield or cover just right so that keys dropped in so effortlessly. In complete dismay right away my mind jumps to some sort of solution but I have nothing. I think the look on my face said it all, as I tell the gentleman man at the counter I just dropped my keys into an open drain in the bathroom floor he understood the severity. I’m trying to figure out who I can call to possibly drive out with my spare keys and kiss my other ones goodbye. I’m about halfway home and this would take 3-4 hours to see these spare keys and in the mean time my children and I are locked out of our car with no keys. The clerk decides to call a manager I’m guessing, she lived only a few minutes away. This very helpful young lady named Mindy was my savior. She was extremely resourceful as well as completely calm and cool as she understood the severity of our dilemma.Mindy was very helpful and encouraging. She went out of her way above and beyond! She kept assuring me that she would get them out she’d get them out one way or another. Meanwhile I’m beating my self up mentally feeling helpless and lost just seeing the look on my children’s faces of disappointment. Mindy even came up with an idea that she had a proper tool that was just right to be able to hook and grab my keys and pull them out, she excused herself went home and rushed back. Mindy did not give up and I thank my lucky stars. Someone was looking out for us and sent us Mindy. Her determination and perseverance is exemplary. Thank you Mindy and my children thank you.”
