I went into Frank's after hopping around different furniture stores all day. I was surprised not to see a selection in store to choose from, but instead catalogues to flip through. But Steve seemed like a nice guy, the quality of the furniture in the catalogues looked decent and I thought I'd prefer to support a local business vs a big store, let me give them a chance. So I ordered a dining set and had it delivered. And all of that was great, don't get me wrong I want to make clear the table is great and the delivery went well (that's why 2 stars and not 1). Unfortunately, shortly after delivery I found out I'm being forced to move out of my apartment. On very short notice I'm down sizing considerably and I can't fit a table at all in the new place. I was bummed, but I had purchased the table ~ 2 weeks ago, most stores have a 30 days return policy, I'll have to return it. I went on the website to find their policy info and it said to email and ask for policy details. I did that and got a response that, was rather curt and simply said "no returns on special orders". First, they don't have a show room....so isn't everything a "special" order? Second, this is a very standard practice to have a 30 day return window, if you DON'T you should make that VERY clear to people before they purchase, not after. I would not have risked ordering something I couldn't see if I didn't think I could return it if it didn't work in the space or it wasn't what I was looking for, never mind that I no longer live there and can't fit a table. Third, this email exchange was extremely rude and disappointing. I really tried to explain my situation, that I'd be happy to pay for the delivery and the pick up if he could refund or buy back the furniture because I really have no where to put it now. And he just said no and stopped responding. I've waited well over a week to see if he would respond and nothing. Overall, again the furniture is nice, the delivery men were good, and Steve himself was nice when I bought the table. However, they have a sneaky no returns policy, that is stamped in faded grey letters on the receipt that they should be stating out loud, should be explicitly on their website and making buyers aware of before they purchase. And upon my reach out, I was met with just unkindness. I understand policies exist, however you need to make them very clear in advance and there is always room to be kind.

When I have gone there, there had no one there to greet me. The door was open and there was no one there so I left and came back days later and it was a lady there. She was rude and this guy asked me is something there that that I wanted to buy and I asked him about a dresser, a wooden dresser, and he said it was too far and I lived in hard on at the time not that far from the furniture store I lived on 141st half of Hawthorne and he said that was too far to deliver it they had a nice solid wooden furniture. I really wanted to get some wooden furniture. I'm still looking for a good solid wood furniture now I live in Compton so I'll know that I cannot have them to deliver it.

I came by Frank's furniture and was pleased to see all the different options. The guy is absolutely awesome and showed us even more options through the catalog. We started chatting about family business and so on absolutely great experience he wasn't being pushy or like a sale person. I would defined check out Frank's furniture!

BEWARE of all the FAKE "positive" reviews posted by owner Frank's own friends and relatives.Looking for furniture we decided to give this place a chance stepping in this place it's an ancient old dusty and empty outdated place with exorbitantly priced outdated furniture. The owner "Frank" here said he will give us a reasonable deal if we paid him cash.Willing to support small local business we picked out a few pieces mutually agreed to price and were ready to pay and set up delivery the next day.Next day when we showed up old man "Frank" pulled a BAIT-AND-SWITCH he deliberately switched out the furniture we picked out for the cheapest AWFUL QUALITY similar pieces and was hoping we were not going to recognize and he was going to get away with DECEIVING us by keeping our cash and delivering inferior junk to us. Steven Frank shame on you at your elderly age you are still trying to deceive your own customers and asking for bad karma.AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

Updating my last review after Steve put in an order for Acme furniture I requested. The furniture came quicker than expected, and Steve kindly offered to hold the very large pieces for me at his warehouse. Subsequently, Steve's crew, consisting of Francisco and Pedro, delivered the furniture and worked extremely hard to construct it over two days at Steve's very reasonable delivery and white glove rate of $140. Throughout this stretch, Steve was most courteous and responsive in communication and service. I would gladly recommend Frank's Furniture to people in South Bay looking for non-Ikea furniture. Finally, I got to mention that Frank's Furniture has a very cool looking and retro historical sign.

We've been a customer of Frank's furniture for years. This goes back to my parents buying furniture at the store as well. There was never a bad experience. Steve has never pressured us. Everyone should be a salesman like Steve. He works and tries hard to have happy customers. He makes sure that you get good quality for the money. I wish all furniture stores were like Frank's furniture,

During the first 6 months of Covid, I was looking for mid-century dining table chairs. I found some that I liked and Steve had them delivered. But when I got them, they were miniature; very small, almost like kid chairs. Steve allowed me to return for either a refund or exchange. I decided on an exchange and ordered 2 different chairs. They arrived about a month later and they were perfect. I then wanted 2 more of the same chairs, but the supply chain was interrupted and I was not able to purchase them from Steve. But now, whenever I need another piece, I always go to his website to check it out. Great customer service and a variety of pieces.

We were overdue for a new couch & loveseat so started the hunt at the big chain stores. The few we liked were significantly higher priced than our budget and one place wouldn't even give us a quote that included tax & delivery without collecting personal information. Luckily we stopped by Frank's and although there wasn't much in the showroom Steve referred us to his website where I found tons of options including most of what I had seen at the other places at more affordable prices. Steve was easy to work with over the phone and sent email communications which was super convenient. The delivery guys were awesome and hard working and we love our new furniture. I highly recommend Frank's Furniture and hope to do business there again.

I recently bought a sectional sofa from Frank's Furniture and it was one of the most positive experiences I've had in many years. The owner Steve, was courteous, professional and honest. For example, he discovered a tear in the fabric when loading the sofa for delivery. He called me to tell me about it because he couldn't deliver it knowing that the fabric was torn and not letting me know. He offered to order me a new sofa or deliver it "as is. I wanted a new sofa and he ordered it. I also got a great Memorial Day discount! The new sofa came sooner than anticipated and my sofa was delivered to me earlier than I anticipated! The delivery guys were great and on time. I was their first stop. I'm a customer for life because I appreciate Steve's commitment and honesty to his customers.

The store itself at first was unflattering. But Frank has an amazing catalog with a variety of beautiful furniture!!! His catalog has anything you can ask for. I bought a beautiful daybed from his catalog. It came a little longer than expected but it was worth the wait! Frank himself is a wonderful guy, so so sweet and has the BEST costumer service. Love you Frank! HIGHLY RECOMMEND you check out Frank's Furniture for your furniture!! :)

This review is very much overdue, but we purchased a best chairs custom rocking recliner at Frank's for our nursery 2 years ago, and it's still in great condition! We tried many rocking/recliner chairs and this one is incredibly comfortable. We saw the same chair and brand at Buy Buy Baby but here we were able to customize it for a bit cheaper too. Highly recommend!!! It's not a big box store and looks less like a traditional showroom floor, more warehouse /rougher on edges, but they can get the same things as the big box store for a bit cheaper, more custom and better service and you can support local!

On the surface the place looks run down and bare but Frank's has a catalog selection that is just amazing. He was able to find a couple catalogues that had exactly what we needed. He was honest about his non return policy up front and warned us about fitting our furniture through the door. He was patient with us selecting the perfect fit for us. He was honest about the prices and did his best to work with our budget. We were able to select our perfect set for a decent price. The delivery was timely and was very impressed by the service and unpacking/assembly. We will definitely be back for more
