“The most excellent service in recent memory was provided by furniture department manager, Andrew, at this Big Lots location. He explained the difference between furniture brands, the pros and cons of mattress selection in particular. His advice helped me to see the value and importance in investing in the long term by getting the better quality, (tho more expensive) brands. This was a lesson that my grandfather taught me decades ago, but that had somehow with all these commercials these days had slipped my mind. Bottom line, talk to Andrew when you need furniture.”

“5 below is fun to just walk around and splurge on nick nacks, snacks, some fun little odd finds. (I.e. freeze dried candies, beach toys, sketch pads, etc.) There is a small section in the back of the store that has a few items above $5.00 (Found some cute shelves for the kids to have as nights stands in that section.)”

“Sign up for Big Lots rewards and it saves! My friend and I shopped together and shared a cart. You need to bring quarters to release a locked shopping cart.( you will get your quarter back when you return the cart in the locked position).
5 stars to Vivian, the cashier. She has helped me before when I ordered a toaster oven online, and had to pick it up at the store. She is professional, helpeful, efficient and on top of things! Vivian helped us again today and made sure we scanned our coupons. My friend and I bought a few things, but the main items were patio chairs. We brought our own bags which Vivian was grateful for and she quickly bagged everything. Thank you Vivian!!”
“I was recommended by a friend to go to DD's and they said that it was better than Ross's and I have to admit that their prices were so unbelievably economical I had to just completely buy me a complete makeup set and I could actually afford it cost me $23 all together and I would have been able to spend $23 on all this makeup at Walmart and I just have to say thank you Didi I appreciate the prices and I will be back again You have a loyal customer for life.”
“This is one of the first times I went to a five and below store. When I walked in the security guard was so nice so helpful. It made me look at the store different before I even walked in. He called someone to come help me about a online order. That was great customer service and I hadn't even been there 30 seconds. As I walk through the store I saw a lot of things that I didn't know they had. This will probably be one of my go-to stores during Christmas. Everyone I came encounter with was cool. They had items that I've never saw before. So yes I love the atmosphere the customer service and the products. Keep up the good work.”

“Joey's bargain store on Central Avenue is good customer service and Santos is a good person to help out people with disabilities but if you go to the Joyce bargain store on Avalon Linda who is management has a really bad attitude I don't know why I'm the only person that spends $ 400 - 500 a month and that damn store everybody else purchases with EBT food stamps”

“Ami is super sweet and helpful! She held it down being the only register open during a rush. The line moved fairly quickly. This location is neater than other locations I've visited. Items were stocked and organized. The store is spacious with wide aisles. Parking is plenty. Prices may vary depending on the item like their frozen foods. There are great finds like Philadelphia cream cheese and Kraft singles are available. There was so much to see and my walk around the store was delightful.”
