“It's always a pleasure coming here for deliveries. Everyone seems happy to work here. You can feel the positive vibe from everyone you deal with.
After checking in with the guard, you'll get a temporary visitor badge so you can access the restrooms and inside the break room. Back into your dock with doors still closed. They'll open the doors from inside the warehouse. Then you'll need to check in with receiving. They'll want you to wait for the break room (free drinks inside) or on the patio (vending machines). There was an incident involving a driver pulling out of a dock while the truck was still being unloaded, so they stopped letting drivers stay in their trucks. I asked about it because the last time we delivered here, I remembered staying in the truck.
When your load is finished, the warehouse worker will let you know you're done and give you your paperwork. Just turn in your badge to the guard on the way out.”
