I recently had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn in Lathrop, and I highly recommend it! The hotel exceeded my expectations with its welcoming atmosphere and exceptional service.
My room was a highlight of the stay, featuring a luxurious whirlpool bathtub that made for a truly relaxing experience. After a long day of travel, being able to unwind in such a comfortable and well-maintained room was a real treat. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room was spotlessly clean, with all the amenities one could need.
The staff at the Hampton Inn were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was pleasant. The complimentary breakfast was a great start to the day, offering a variety of tasty options.
Overall, the combination of excellent service, a fantastic room with a whirlpool bathtub, and a great location made my stay at the Hampton Inn in Lathrop exceptional. I’ll definitely be returning in the future!

Overnight stay, right off the highway with several restaurants nearby. One whole side of the hotel was covered with scaffolding and netting as they were repainting the exterior. On-going maintenance shows that they care about the property upkeep, and can be easily overlooked. The front desk staff, as well as the rest of the personnel, were great. The three-wheeled luggage carts are inconvenient with open floors and do not hold much of your stuff.
The room was clean but smaller than most. Very quiet and restful. The beds were uncomfortable and need updating. My wife and I went into the little snack shop next to the front desk to get a bag of chips and found a (rather large) dead cockroach on the floor. We notified the clerk and went back to our room without any snacks.
At check-out, the lady at the front desk was, again, very helpful and friendly. Overall a good stay!

Overall great experience, staff were friendly and accommodating. My only issue was the shower, you had 2 choices, piping hot or freezing cold.

My stay there was great. Housekeeping is amazing here too! I absolutely love how they do housekeeping every other 2 days and they keep everything well stocked up! I loved it!
Cons: The hotel main door is locked. I absolutely hated it. I come back at the hotel after midnight & 2 am, standing in front of the main door waiting for it to open seems like a forever wait (even though it's not, lol). They should have a card access through the main hotel door for those that are staying. It would be convenient for us that come back to the hotel late. They also lock one side of the hotel parking entrance as well so you have to drive to the other side to get in. Another one I didn't like was the digital key not working and I have told front desk multiple times that it still isn't working. The response I got was, "It's fixed" ?. <--- It was not fixed. I had to use the physical key for the rest of my stay. Seven night stay and the digital key only worked for 2 days?! I should take off one more star for this, but I won't. It was just so inconvenient for me when I am staying there for that long.
They had a mini fridge in the room, microwave, and a coffee maker. Coffee maker did not work great. It was not hot at all. You want coffee, help yourself to the one in the lobby. Useless room coffee maker or maybe I just didn't know how use it ?♂️. I just didn't want cold coffee. Truthfully, I had to microwave it just to get hot coffee ?, so sad, lol. The TV is not bad; I couldn't sign into my YouTube account, but you can definitely sign into your Netflix and watch whatever you like which was great!
Just like any hotel, they all have their ups & down. This one is definitely not bad and I would definitely go here again just because I enjoy the housekeeping service ?. Also the convenience of food trucks down the block & there are restaurants close by for walking distance.
If you stay here, there is a variety of food truck down the block! Be sure to check them out when you're hungry ??.

Hey Daisy and dear readers,
Don't stay here unless you're ok with rude staff being rude!
I came to ask your front desk previously when picking up a roll away and asked what the latest time was that we could check out and was informed by the staff member that we could check out at 1 pm at the latest.
I had a cleaner come to the room at 10am trying to clean the room and had another come at 11:55 pm. When I gave Marissa this information she raised her voice and demanded I give her the name of the staff member from the front desk that I spoke with.
Marissa stated that I had to check out at 12 no exceptions and when I asked her for the name of the staff member that I spoke with, her response was that it was not her job and her job was to have me checked out on time and was very rude to me in the process
I'm here as she's talking to another guest and she's being very sweet to them which is not how she was interacting with me.
She stated her behavior is warranted because your employee did not notate our stay being checked out until 1.
I don't believe its my fault your staff isn't doing their due diligence when on the clock and in no way shape or form is it acceptable to be ridiculed by your staff member Marissa.
If you can reach out to me by email about your staffs conduct and being rude to your guest I would appreciate it.
There's zero room for staff members being rude and it should not be allowed in your place of business at all.

Wonderful stay! Employees were very kind! Everything was clean. We used to pool and hot tub and enjoyed it. Breakfast was the best we have had at hotels in a long while! We were very happy with that!

Rooms are very dated. Location is great right off the interstate, but expect noise. Most enjoyable part of my stay was the food truck area directly behind the hotel. Great food variety and everything I had was delicious.Rooms: Would recommend renovations to make it more modern.Walkability: In driving/walking distance to many restaurants. There are a few shopping plazas not far.

Been on Google for almost a decade, this is my first written review.Ashley checked us in for new years eve, and she was hospitable and sincere. I complimented the lobby and it showed they cared about the holidays. I've worked for hotels for almost 20 years, and despite showing its age here and there, this place was prestine. Cleanliness, amazing staff and great amenities.Our first stay here, definitely not going to be our last.
