“I highly recommend getting your alterations done here if you're local! This place is run by the two sweetest couple. They were both so nice and helpful when I was trying to get a few pairs of jeans hemmed. One of the jeans that I brought in had some metal buttons in spots that had to be hemmed so she recommended me to not get them hemmed because it would ruin the look of the jeans. I really appreciated that! Will definitely come back again in the future to get anything hemmed.”

“Very professional and friendly washing place. The lady helped me operate the washer and dryer. The small washing machine is 3.5$ plus 1$ for the soap. The dryers cost a quarter for 4 minutes.”

“This is a neighborhood Mom & Pop operation. I've been using them on and off when I moved to San Anselmo 7 years ago. I mainly use them for alterations (ie: jeans, dresses, etc.) and they do a good job for a reasonable price. If you have high end clothes that need TLC, I wouldn't recommend M & R. However, for your basic dry cleaning, they are reliable!”
“It was the closest laundromat to my hotel and it didn't disappoint! I used the smaller watching machine and it worked wonderfully, all for $3.25. WiFi available for customers, I didn't find it crowded on a Monday afternoon. Machines accept only quarters, but you can find a change machine near the desk. 100% would recommend!”

“This place is nice and clean at such beautiful neighborhood. The price is ok for washing, but for drying is little expensive, 25 cents for 4mn, and a dryer is seems taking long time to dry if you compare it to another Laudromat. Even you put it on high heat, it seem its just warm heat.”

“I cannot recommend strawberry cleaners enough for their help and support with a recent alteration! I'm 5 months pregnant and struggled with a bridesmaid dress that needed to be ordered 8-12 weeks in advance. I'm a first-time mom and this was incredibly stressful because I had no way to predict my future size, and I couldn't just order another dress last-minute if the one I picked didn't fit-- which it did not. It's my best friend's wedding and I had no other option but to put my faith in Strawberry cleaners to let out my dress somehow. The couple that owns this storefront worked SO hard on my dress. They called me to come in several times to make sure it was perfect, and they made it work right down to the wire so that it would accurately fit my current size. I can't tell you how relieved I am to have a dress that fits and looks nice on me after so much worry. Best of all, they charged me an extremely reasonable rate for all of the alterations. I used to go to a place in Larkspur that I honestly think would have charged 3-4x as much. I cannot thank the owners enough. They never made me feel bad about my situation, and if they were worried it wouldn't work, they never showed it. Their kindness, calmness, hard work, and patience meant a lot to me during a stressful situation.”
