“This market is one of the best deli/grocery /produce markets that I have ever come across! I live in the area and I will go only to this market because of the deli sandwiches hands down #1 and they offer whatever you would like on it and they make it very special and specific. The quality is priceless and the flavors are amazing. I have been coming here for more than 15 years and I'm always blown away of the service/quality and the items they offer in their store. Their location is perfect because they are always on the way to where you need to go, whether to the airport or just around town, it's so convenient. I recently have been there at least 4 times during the week to bring food to the nearby hospital CPMC for my family members visiting from France and locally and their experience was off the charts. Rutily's market is the place to go for everything you need.”
“Great food. Great selection of almost everything. Amazing customer service with a smile ☺️? and clean. Easy to park. Great views right at the marina. The best hot, fresh marinated teriyaki flank steak sandwich on sourdough roll I have ever had, at not a bad price either. Gotta see this place and eat here at the marina!”
“My favorite market in the area. Convenient location, great hours, clean store and has everything you need from house supplies to fresh flowers to your favorite snacks. The owners are incredibly kind and it always brightens my day to see them. Highly recommend!”
“This is my favorite Marin grocery store. They carry top brands and a good selection of local items. Some of my favorite things are the bakery, deli, butcher and produce. The staff are always friendly and helpful. You can't beat the service.”
“I really appreciate this fourth generation family owned business. Sandwiches are fab, they have the best specialty products (especially sweets), and they carry all the basics. Docking one star because the prices are astronomically high. Luckily, if you mention Kiddo at the register, they will donate a percentage of your total cost to local public schools”
“This a great place if you prefer natural and organic food options. We stopped here a couple of times while staying in Mill Valley. My only hesitation with not giving this place 5 stars is the prices seemed a little high as compared to other places like Whole Foods.”
8AM - 9PM
401 Bay St, San Francisco“First and foremost Trader Joe's staff are fantastic. So helpful and friendly, they go above beyond with customer service. We've been to this store twice now for fresh sandwiches, wraps and wine and have not been disappointed.”
8AM - 9PM
337 3rd St, San Rafael“Really kind staff.
I remember when going to Trader Joe’s was a fun adventure. Now, it’s still that, but it’s also ONE OF THE CHEAPEST PLACES TO GET FOOD. I never thought we would come to this. Love you Forever, Trader Joe’s!!!!!!!!”
“Fresh and delicious with such a friendly team!Amazing local sandwiches / subs. The bread is from Boutin just down the road. Delicious sourdough loaves. The meat is Boar’s Head and a great selection.Really good portion sizes and all served with a pleasure and a smile.Very much recommended if you are in Fisherman’s Wharf.”
8AM - 9PM
1095 Hyde St, San Francisco“Bigger than the TJ's by my house in Oakland this location is more of what you've come to love about Trader Joe's. A very busy location during peak hours so prepare to wait in line to check out, but the line moves quickly. Friendly staff, very accommodating.”
“Excellent produce, deli, and I get my favorite carrot cake by "Just Desserts" there, also they have bbq fridays outdoors...the steak, chicken or pork ribs are all a great treat to bring home to the family!”
“The Nugget is well named: it's rare to find the quality of product, service, and price anymore, let alone a grocery store. The Staff consider shoppers "Guests" and consistently offer to take "guests" to the item sought rather than mumble something about which aisle your item may or may not be on. Their specials really ARE special and their shelves rarely have an empty spot waiting to be refilled. Each department is well run and the management team embodies commitment to customers. An A++ place to grocery shop!”
8AM - 8:30PM
200 Caledonia St, Sausalito“I stumbled upon this place looking for a light dinner and will 100% be back. It’s like a fancier, smaller, local Berkeley Bowl with better quality prepared foods. Their potato latkes are the best I’ve ever had and their salmon cake is chef’s kiss! They can heat it up behind the deli counter and there is seating to eat here.Their prepared food section looks home-cooked, amazing and fresh overall. They also have a great natural product section as well, where I stocked up on Rose bath salts, essential oils, and got a guasha tool too.”
“We are two Korean men.
We were scammed 2 out of 3 times we visited this store.
(Not sure if the very first visit is a scam.)
The price is 50 cents higher than the market price and the change is 50 cents to 1 dollar less. At first I thought it was a mistake, but on my last visit I realized it was a scam.
We went there thinking this was the only supermarket nearby, but we were impressed by how they couldn't even remember our faces and started scamming us again. If you happen to visit, Asians always check their change carefully.
>If you move a little further, there is Trader Joe's or 7eleven. Go there.”
7AM - 9PM
1 Blackfield Dr, Tiburon“I have shopped here at the Tiburon location for at least five years. The food is fresh, meat is amazing as well as the daily buffet! Especially love the manager Johnathan who is helpful & kind. Love Vince the butcher & chatting up Niners-Giants talk!! Great store all around!..Great staff!”
“I love this place! I'm a little biased since I live on the same street but it's my go to market whenever I need some thing; they literally have everything you can imagine. Also their fresh sandwiches are to die for. They also sell premade hot foods and sushi. The staff are incredibly kind and the vibe in here is just so homey. It feels really good to support a family business that's been running for so long and it's a staple to nob hill!”
“Omg! Best Mexican food in Marin! Beef empanada's, carnitas nachos, shrimp tacos were all SOOO delish! Will be back … wish I lived closer… would be there a lot!,”
“I love shopping at this store. Their prices are very affordable, and the place is usually very clean and organized. The cashiers are always very friendly and courteous! They always have a smile on their faces.”
“Great deli customer service and selection. Call ahead for a sando makes it fast and easy. The produce selection is always really, really good. The cost is kinda high”
9AM - 5:30PM
874 Pacific Ave, San Francisco“Snowflake beef? We definitely needed that in our hot pot mix for Christmas! And while we're at it, gotta try the pork belly and lamb too!All of it was high quality, *melt-in-your-mouth* meat. After waiting in line for an hour, my cousin snagged 5 lbs of fatty cow, 3 lbs of lamb and 2 lbs of pork belly and the 14 of us could barely finish half. She said it's a one man show: meat cut to order and the dude's handling the cashier portion too. Totally worth it....except this is coming from someone who didn't wait in line. Thanks, cuzzo!”
8AM - 5:30PM
772 Pacific Ave, San Francisco“3.5 stars. Spacious store with a large selection of dry and frozen groceries. $20 minimum for credit card transactions, else a $1 surcharge. I wish they had more fresh produce, but you can find plenty of those outside at nearby produce markets. It's certainly not nearly as big as 99 Ranch or HMart, but it might be the biggest in this neighborhood.”
“They have nearly everything you need in this small store and the checkout line rarely has more than one person in front of you. I laugh at the people traipsing up to Trader Joe's to wait in long lines for produce that is vastly inferior to that in this store.I've seen some comments on the meat section and there is some validity. Check the pack dates, which are accurate, and if it is within the last 2 days your selection will be A+. I go here all the time for fish and chicken.”
8:30AM - 8PM
1199 Clay St, San Francisco“The workers here are very nice, especially the older woman that's behind the cash register most days. Lost a star just because I don't recommend natural produce or refrigerated goods from here. This is a simple, quaint corner store for when you need boxed or bottled goods very quickly.”
8AM - 7PM
175 San Geronimo Valley Dr, Woodacre“Always awesome food ! Delicious MEGA sandwiches. The breakfast are really good also. Everybody working there is great, friendly and do a terrific job at the deli counter. ? I am a regular customer and a huge fan. Friday,l had their "Friday Special", a Fried Calamari Sandwich, it was amazing.”
“The first thing I noticed when I walked in is how this place smelled exactly the same as the butcher shop my grandfather would take me to as a kid in the country outside of Buenos Aires. That smell that only comes from a butcher shop that’s making the sausages fresh, cutting the beef fresh, etc. That’s how I knew this place was legit without even trying anything. I’ve since tried a few of the sausages they have and they’re amazing. Again, the taste reminds me of the taste of the sausages my grandpa would buy from this old butcher in the country. It’s a taste you only get from butchers with a true sense of craftsmanship. Reminds me of a simpler time. I highly recommend the sausages, the meatloaf, and stuffed chicken. The charm doesn’t stop there, though, Ron and his son Michael also give stellar customer service. Always a pleasure stopping by and supporting this local business.”
“It's nice. The only thing I don't like about it (hence the four stars) is that their selection is spotty, and there are a lot of normal food items they don't carry. So, I've often walked in there and come out disappointed. They'd get more traffic if they'd be a bit more of a normal grocery, rather than only stocking the super-chichi stuff. End up having to walk down the street to Luke's Local a lot when I would rather have bought here.”
8AM - 8PM
2190 Union St, San Francisco“I got a Ashbury sandwich, and a caramel latte.
It’s surprisingly SO fresh, flavorful and delicious !
The people were so patient and nice to me
Highly recommend coming here”
“I love these people! I go in at least once a week and I am happy to call them friends. Dhruba (owner), his wife, Dad are always a joy to see. Dhruba has greatly improved the store and opened the home made sushi bar ? at the back counter (Spicy Ahi by Zane!)I'm easily give 5 STARS ?”
7AM - 8PM
515 3rd St, San Rafael“I couldn’t pass to write review because their hot bar is worthy to try and you will never go to restaurant or any other place like whole food hot bar. Rice, potato wedges, mushrooms taste just right - my eyes are bigger than my stomach I say.”
“I wanted to give a big shout out to the store manager, Jeff Laine! I misplaced my purse while shopping for Easter items. After Jeff checked the back to see if it was turned in, he walked through the store with me inquiring with each department. Jeff ended up finding my purse - so grateful for his strategic thinking and kind nature!”
