“I dropped by the Smog Center yesterday without an appointment to get a smog inspection for my Toyota Camry. I was greeted with a smile and helped right away. The staff was friendly, courteous and professional. The waiting room was clean, comfortable and had a television. I was in and out with my certificate in about 15 minutes. The price was fair, and this has to be the cleanest overall smog establishment I have ever seen. I can highly recommend. I will definitely be back when it is time for my next smog inspection.”

“Our daughter got a flat tire near this service station and the nicest man came over from the station and offered to help her change the tire. I believe his name is Osama. He took the tire off and discovered a nail and gave us a very reasonable quote for a new tire. The tire was changed in an hour! Excellent service. So we decided to get my Camry's 5K maintenance serviced here and are very happy with the job and the price. Yay, we've found our new service station!”

“Was in the county and needed gas but station was shutdown for repairs and has been that way for a couple of weeks. Checked the website and it said open but called Novato Safeway and was told it was closed until after the first of the year. Otherwise it was always worthwhile to go that far for gas when I had 10 Safeway reward points to save a dollar a gallon and fill the tank, savings of $20.”

“This was right outside of Yosemite, why San Anselmo, don't know why. Thank goodness this station was right outside the Yosemite Lodge on the way home. Kept clean, nice bathrooms and a snack place. Gas was a bit expensive, but they have you there. Nice to get some snacks and drinks after a long day.”

“While we've never won the lottery yet, this is the place to buy your tickets. It's a great and very clean gas station to stop by and pick up something on the go and, obviously get your gas. When I say clean, it's unusually clean for a gas station in my opinion. Things are very orderly inside and their prices are reasonable. It has easy in out access from a variety of directions and a safe place to park your car if you just need to run inside to buy those lucky lottery tickets!”

Not a big station (8 pumps) but always bright and clean, there's always clean soapy water for windshield cleaning, best price in the area. “I don't know why, but I think gas station recommendations are just as/if not more important than restaurant recommendations. No, they're not sexy. And they're not very photo-worthy. But let's face it - we spend so much time in our cars, and everyone needs a gas station at least once every week or two. Since cars are the bane our of our Bay Area existence, doesn't it make sense to know the right place to refuel? That's why I want to give props to this Tiburon Unocal station. Here's what I like: - It's only a mile from where I live. - there's never a long line - It's clean - the gas is never overpriced - they have pumps if your tires need air - they have a compact convenience store for beverages, snacks, smokes, and other basic needs. - they also have bins where you can donate clothes to non-profits. So if you're in the Mill Valley/Tiburon area and you need to refuel (and maybe donate some old clothes/shoes), this Unocal station is your best bet. And then cross the street to Peets Coffee and reward yourself with a cappuccino.”

“This review is for the dog wash station! Needed to wash my dog after hiking the Bon Tempe lake! He decided to get in the water and got all muddy afterwards. We hiked closer to the evening since it was a hot day today and pet food express was already closed by the time we got done hiking. We took our dog here and washed our dog. It cost $10 for 10 minutes and they have multiple options for shampoos. They also have a dryer!”

“Call me deranged, but I love reviewing gas stations. They aren't the sexiest businesses to write about. But let's face it, if you have a car and want to get from Point A to Point B, you're gonna need a gas station. So you might as well go to a good one. So I'm happy to report that Kwik Serv (despite its silly misspelled name) is a reliable gas station. It's located right near the Corte Madera Park and a neighborhood strip mall (which has PetSmart, a barber, a gym, and a Thai restaurant). There's never a wait for the pumps. Gas here isn't Arco cheap, but it's still more reasonably priced than most other stations in town. Plus, they have a decent convenience store on the property for all your snack/beverage/on-the-go needs. Can't speak for the restroom since I've never used it. But the station seems like it's always clean and well-kept. So if you're in the Larkspur/Corte Madera area and need to refuel, Kwik Serv is a quick & easy option!”

“Very impressive car wash crew. We had a great experience here. The car was just completely covered in bugs from a road trip and they spent so much time cleaning before the wash and then drying afterwards, using air cans to get stuff out of the nooks and crannies even, really great wash. “I like coming to this gas station location downtown Larkspur. It's always busy because they have the cheapest gas in Marin. As long as you pay cash. They do take cards but the gas is then .10 cents more per gallon. The gas is a few Pennie's cheaper than the gas station at the freeway in Strawberry. They don't have long confusing lines like the other cheap gas locations. The staff is friendly and the inside business area is clean. There are big signs indicating "no backpacks" so shoplifting must be an issue. This location even has a service area to fix your car. It's a quick in and out!”
