I am disappointed to give a small business only two stars. I placed an order through GrubHub for a birthday present, scheduled for delivery at 1:15 PM. However, the store canceled it at 12:35 PM, providing no solution or alternative. Their only message was, “We are busy.” This left me in a difficult position, as I was relying on them for an important birthday gift.
I’ve not used GrubHub before, but a friend recommended Postmates for similar deliveries and had great success. In my opinion, the store could have called me to suggest a rescheduled delivery time, such as later in the day, instead of simply canceling. If they cannot fulfill orders, they should adjust their availability settings to reflect realistic delivery times.
I appreciate that ordering online includes a buffer time for preparation and delivery. However, if the store can’t meet this buffer, they should update their vendor settings accordingly. This would prevent customers from being left in a lurch, especially for important occasions.
2 stars, not 1 because it’s a small business and I like they are on GrubHub. Just wish they delivered to earn 5 stars.
EDIT: I added a picture of the order and the cancellation. The shop claims no order received and I’ll reiterate they shouldn’t be a on a platform they can’t deliver through.

They have amazing customer service here. You can walk in, place an order, and walk out with beautiful custom flower arrangements within an hour!
It was well worth the cost. They have a pretty big and professional operation here.
