This store is full of wonderful items from France that are perfect for gifting or home. Whenever I need a gift for a family member or friend who already has everything, this is the place I come to. There are always things to choose from on the more affordable end too. And they always offer to gift wrap, even if its a small purchase. The owner refreshes with new items from France seasonally, so there's alwasy something new to discover! Love this little gem.

Almost bypassed this gem on my birthday weekend, and wouldn't that have been a shame! With eclectic home-oriented merchandise from France, Turkey, and Ecuador, you are bound to find something delightful in this shop. From hand painted lead-free ceramic Turkish mugs, to alpaca woven Ecuadorian blankets. The blanket was roughly $125- was seduced by its magical colors and failed to evaluate the price. Did purchase one and LOVE it! It's soooo warm and beautiful. There is also a selection of international foods. Couldn't resist the raspberry French pastels. Yum. The store has French oil table cloths and colorful fabric table cloths. Pillows with fun designs and a number of other unique gift options. The clerk who assisted me was knowledgeable about the products, although not particularly friendly. Great place to find gifts for yourself or family.

Coquelicot owners helped me select lovely Provencale gifts (brightly colored fabric bread baskets with coordinating cloth napkins) for an elegant dinner party with French cuisine. Wrapped beautifully, they were a hit that added to the ambience of the event. Thank you, Coquelicot!

This amazing tasting room and wine are truly a hidden gem. The Bordeaux is delicious as well as their Sauvignon Blanc. Friendly and knowledgeable staff enhance the tasting experience. If you are in los Olivos, this is a must. They also have a crepe food truck to nosh on while sipping wine in their tranquil backyard garden.

I love this colorful unique store, which is such a breath of fresh air when one walks down Magnolia Avenue in Larkspur. So unlike the mass market mall stores, it showcases charming crafts, jewelry, antiques and Provincial textiles. Coquelicot is a must -visit in Marin, and brings back happy memories of Avignon and the best of France.
