Her wide range of sizes, from tiny miniatures to sweeping, bold canvasses, as well as stationery, books and calendars, allows for the perfect gift or statement in your own home or office. She is mesmerizing and an absolute joy to do business with. Additionally, her role as a life coach/advisor has had a positive impact on a multitude of people across the globe. She has guided me, while I live in Missouri and she in California, through personal transformation with wisdom and kindness, while being forthright with exactly what the next step should be. She is a treasure.”

“Came here on a whim...we were visiting from Hawaii. We were staying in downtown SF at the Palace Hotel and walked to the Ferry building. While there, we saw the ferry and said to each other, "eh, let's go take a trip to Sausalito!" We found our way to Scrimshaw Gallery, which was a short walk from the port, just off the main strip. Good looking woodworks from local artisans. Not sure why all the reviews of the grumpy dude with the mustache, but Mike was pleasant and helpful. He was quiet at first, I'm sure just exhausted from the many looky-loos filtering through the shop. Mike was more than happy to share the history of the pieces in the store. There were tons of bowls and great looking, well-made wooden boxes with handsome inlays. In particular there was a bowl, small, really nice markings and designs from the natural wood, that I was interested in. Mike explained the history of it, how it was made and how the unusual naturally burnt rim of the bowl came to be. I was sold! One big problem I had was hand carrying it home...but Mike offered to ship it...for FREE! Of course, I was weary about that because I wasn't sure if it would be intact when I received it...and I really loved this one of a kind piece. After all, it was hand turned from a local artisan who has since retired! But I trusted Mike and agreed to having it shipped (and THANKED him for doing it complimentarily!). I received it in the mail yesterday...fully bubble wrapped in a box...in PERFECT condition! Much Mahalo, Mike!”
“Awesome gallery, cool to see all the variety of types of projects that Autodesk software is utilized in. The building and gallery itself are beautifully decorated, and the folks managing and providing tours on the gallery floor are accommodating and friendly. I also appreciate how knowledgeable the staff are here to talk a bit about what is on display.”
“4/9/24 This is a delightful shop operated by Bonnie and resident jeweler, Jeffrey. I appreciate Jeffrey's jewelry designs for men and women and that there are many pieces and price points to choose from. My favorite go to was Gallery of Jewels on 24th Street but it closed a year or two ago. I am glad to have a new, wonderful place to find unique jewelry (and more) created by local artists!”
“The hours I have spent at the sweet spirit ceramic are amongst the best of my life. Fun, instructive, creative, socially and emotionally fulfilling. Barbara is an amazing highly accomplished teacher who, apparently with no effort, follows each student at their level and according to their learning methods.Fantastic for children and adults alike, you will soon discover that you found not just a potter but a teacher of life.My little personal history: when I first arrived to the States in 1988 I lived in San Geronimo Valley and I noticed that households and backyards were adorned by whimsical cookie jars, marble runs, imaginative castles and ceramic pots and plates. With time my daughter follow suit and I too have my share of ceramic pieces to decorate the rooms: from perfectly thrown jugs and vases to a plate to hide the peas in and a pig house with a slide on the roof.At some point I discovered that I could join in and I did, following Barbara when she moved to San Rafael whenever I had time, inclination or room in my shelves for new pieces, and never regretting it.Watch out: it can be addictive in the best possible way.”

“Attended my friends wedding. She had a haunted house, dark, scary theme going on and it was a really good fit. Super low budget wedding but a cool building. All the background people were really background I don't think I ever saw a single venue manager roaming around or bothering anyone.”
“I really am happy I found this place, and that I can be 100% safe (from virus) in an exciting studio that inspires me to be my creative best. This is a place that gives me real joy, at a time when joy is badly needed. I get excited for my studio days. In this important time, it's reassuring for me to see how public health and safety is just built in, and it works. I'm happy to make an appointment in advance for the hours that I'll work, masked and distanced in a huge studio with only a few folks there. The owner, Lucy (with assistants), sanitize the place thoroughly, carefully, and often. She takes it very seriously and I know I'm safe when I'm there. Following the quarantine long ago, when everything seemed shut down and silent, I found MVPS and it changed my life entirely. It had been YEARS since I had my hands in clay. And, I explored hand-building pieces and a return to the potter's wheel, which challenges me every time. I love it. Everything I need is there; clay, wheels, and tools, and glazes. And, expert help from fun people. Of course, there are several kilns so I never have to wait more than a weekend, and finished works are waiting on the shelves. I didn't know that working with clay could bring so much happiness to my life. It feels great to find a place to explore my new obsession.”

“My experience with this seller was OUTSTANDING in all regards: product quality, timeliness, and especially communication. My wife purchased a framed mountain bike destination map from them (as an Xmas gift for me) and it is very well designed - and looks TOTALLY COOL! I will be able to use the included pins to mark off destinations as completed. I saw a few maps online that allow you to check off destinations, but none that were specific to mountain biking besides this one. Also, there was a small issue with the order and they worked immediately to get it corrected. VERY happy with the end result and with this seller. Would highly recommend.”
“Biordi is among my preferred stores in San Francisco. Visiting Deborah's store is always a pleasure. The array of Majolica pottery is simply mesmerizing, showcasing an unparalleled selection of vibrant patterns steeped in centuries of history. It's a true testament to the craftsmanship of artisans from distant lands that work hard to continue this tradition. San Francisco is truly fortunate to host such a treasure trove of exquisite pieces. I highly recommend Biordi.”
“Beautiful gallery featuring local artists. Note that there is more art downstairs than just in the street level gallery!I was walking by when I saw the current photography exhibit ‘Photographic Essence’ in the main gallery. I went in to check it out. It is very nicely curated collection of black and white photographs.I wasn’t aware that there are artists’ studios downstairs! There is lot more to see in artists’ studios and hallways. Make sure you check it out!!”

803 Bridgeway, Sausalito“I found my happy place today in #sausalito just over the #goldengatebridge from San Francisco.Set amongst beautiful buildings and overlooking the harbour, Sausalito is probably best known for its Richardson Bay houseboat enclaves, built by artist squatters after WWII.Sausalito has a dynamic group of talented, local, visual artists and I was ready to explore. As a lover of markets, handcrafted wares and all things creative, I wasn’t let down. I walked along the streets absorbing the sights, sounds and smells that come with a tight knit community and tourist attraction.A highlight today was when I found @studio333downtown nestled away amongst the cafes and shops. This small store was brimming with unique and interesting pieces, most of which are made locally.I was first attracted to the glass soap trays, then the leather purses, then the earrings, the hats, the soap and so much more. This place amongst many “fill my cup” soaking up all the joy and craftsmanship that people have within them.I shall return again on another trip and explore more broadly what’s else Sausalito has to offer.”

They have books on every type of religion known to man As well as carry things like smudge sticks incense, music just an all-around wonderful beautiful vibe in this place.”

1824 Sir Francis Drake Blvd, Fairfax“Jim is an amazing guy and he does absolutely stellar work. He is a total pro and you can rest assured that your piece will be handled with the utmost care, fit for display in a museum. He has a great eye and great taste for the perfect frame. I love hearing all of the wonderful stories from his life, and seeing the interesting pieces that happen to be in the shop whenever I visit. It's a long drive from where I live, but it is always worth it! His apprentice Quinn clearly has the passion and talent for the work, and I am excited to see what the future holds for him. I am so glad that Zoltron recommended this shop to me many years ago, I have taken every piece here since. I look forward to a lifetime of enjoyment appreciating the art that adorns my walls, so carefully preserved by Jim and his shop.”
“Michael Fine Art, great location scenic view to entrance of Chinatown. All the beauty of top world art you will find there. See Aldo Koren, great customer service to the kindest person, for the best experience with 3 floors of the finest art tour. If you can’t find what you want, Aldo the best knowledge of experience he will guide you the right direction.”
“I broke the glass on my girlfriends favorite piece of artwork. I arrived in expecting an expensive fix for a cheap picture. But.... not only was it way less that other quotes I got but he replaced it with GLASS while I was resigned to having it redone with plastic.”
