Every time I get a chance to drive to Palmdale I visit la Vallarta market, I like the variety of veggies and home made food, There has been a few times that I've purchased chicken tamales and corn tamales, well the chicken tamales tasted good in the other hands, I bought two dozens of corn tamales to share with my family, I gave my sister a few of then, the next morning she called me to tell me that they tasted like masa not corn and also the horrible taste of lard was precent in all of them making them so unpleasant to eat, I also tasted one of them and I was so disappointed on how horrible they tasted, I Spent a lot of money for the 2 dozens, I also gave some to my friends and they were also dissatisfied with the bad taste. Where I am from corn tamales are make with fresh corn, not masa, they added cream or cheese, they never add lard or any type of grease, sorry but leave you a nasty grease after taste in your mouth. I won't buy them ever again so a waste of food and money.

Excellent service, the truth is, highly recommended, the employees are very professional, the truth is, they are very friendly, the food is delicious and you can find everything you are looking for in La Vallarta, that is my favorite store, I highly recommend it, the employees are very professional in what they do and friendly.

Prices of almost everything are much higher than that of Walmart, Target, or WinCo. Prices of fruits of any kind are almost double that of WinCo.

The ladies that do the cakes are slow and never what to do the cake they always have a excuse not to make your cake don’t recommend this location unless u going to get what they have on the shelf

So much to choose from and a really nice atmosphere. Employees were nice and helpful. Lots of parking. We also won money from the scratcher machine here!

The “Masa” used to make tamales is advertised as pure corn. Asked the clerk are you sure and they stated yes pure corn. Because it was sealed, no way to verify. Used it and immediately you can taste the difference and it’s mixed with basic flower. Wouldn’t recommend using this product from this market. Save your tastebuds, this is not quality.

Aside from their prices, (which are honestly not kind), this is one of my favorite places to shop. I love the environment, I think they sell the best bolillos, I get most of my produce from here because it lasts longer. It’s just worth it to me.

PEOPLE LOOK AT THE PRICES HERE THEY ARE SKYROCKET!!! SERIOUSLY!!!! ITS TOO MUCH THEY DEFINITELY ARE OVERPRICED! I USED TO BE A COSTUMER HERE SINCE I JUST MOVED TO LANCASTER FROM LA... I NOTICED THAT WHEN I WOULD BUY A LITTLE BIT OF FOOD IT REACHED ALMOST $200 AND IM TALKING ABOUT LIKE 50 ITEMS. I DECIDED TO GO TO WINSCO MARKET AT AVENUE K... THEY HAVE EXTREMELY LOW PRICES.. 50 ITEMS FOR ABOUT 80 BUCKS A HUGE DAM DIFFERENCE!!!!ESTA TIENDA NO SIRVE.. COBRAN UN CHINGO!!!!!
