I felt welcome here and enjoyed my visit.”
“Great little find. The prices were great. Some things they know what they have in terms of value so they are trying to sell it at that price to help the hospital. Most people there are volunteers. There were two ladies that actually work there. Really nice atmosphere, very nice customer service, everything is really organized!! It's by "The Whole Wheatery" in case you are looking for it. It just a few doors down from there.”

“I stop here and shop when ever I drop my better half off at the beauty shop (she is already beautiful but likes to get her nails painted) for a couple hours. They have a lot of unique items to look at, and the already low prices are augmented by daily sales. Check it out. I think you will like it.”
“Love this place. My go to for thrift shops. I have been to several since i moved out here a few months ago. Some thrift shops i would never step foot into again. However, this place you can not beat. Not only are the prices great the customer service is beyond amazing.Mens clothing, ladies clothing, kids and infants too. From shoes, art, frames, blets, purses, kitchen items, furniture, crafts supplies, jewelry, bedding, hoilday items, fabric, and much much more.Matter of fact, if i have the time today i may just stop in. “Today I saw my first Smash & Grab at the American Way Thrift Store in Lancaster .
I was browsing and because the store is closing, it was empty. I did see a man with an arm full of items in his arms but I thought nothing of it … I just figured he was shopping.
Out of no where the Cashier begins yelling, frantically waving her arms and shes going in circles. I look up, and I see the guy quickly walking out the front door with his hands full of clothing. And just like lightning he begins to run ?♀️ fast!! At this very moment I quickly follow so that I might try to offer to pay as I was assuming he was unhoused … and probably cold.
But in a blink of an eye, (At this time, the Cashier is calling whom I guess was the Manager) the guy jumps into a newer grey vehicle and they race off.
What shocked me was that this “Manager” jumps in his beautiful Grey Truck (I am now behind in my car) and he chased after the Suspects. The Suspect was running stop ? signs and speeding through streets with the “Mansger” in hot pursuit … over Thrift Store donations .
I am still thinking about that “Manager” and how he risked his own life for items that were donated by the public and not at all worth losing your life over. He could have lost his life today.
PS THIS STORE IS CLOSING, going out of business. I will forever miss you. My mom and I have great memories here. 2/6/2024”

“I love this place I love the one in Chatsworth The Granada hills on Chatsworth and lindley they have awesome clothes old school the good old fashioned cotton good stuff and the same with this thrift store I'm getting to know it and it's I love the old fashioned clothes they don't make them like they used to thank you hope of the Valley thank you hallelujah ??☺️??”
“I am giving this 5 stars because I have been going to this store for over thirty years. It has been in different locations and has had boutique sections at various times. The store is clean, orderly, and the walkways are clear of any clutter. The aisles are wide and the merchandise is nicely displayed. The items are reasonably priced and the goods are sorted. The staff is terrific. They seem to have donation location around the back each day the store is open. If ai do not find anything I wish to purchase, I still enjoy the search.”

“Most Goodwills deserve only 3 stars but this one was a step up. There was a decent selection of interesting items, and I was actually excited to find three I wanted to purchase. Their VHS selection is small and they wanted $3.99 each but I thought Predator was worth that cost. We had fun shopping here, which is saying A LOT for Goodwill. We came here as a last resort when all the other thrift stores were closed (while the sun was still up).”
