Don't waste your time. Huge disappointment. I've been coming here for the past couple of years after moving to the area. Every time I go I've just been getting more and more fed up. 1. This store has NEVER recovered from COVID. Shelves are ALWAYS empty. It's like the red-headed step child of Targets. I've recently shopped at one of the Santa Clarita locations because I was in the area.. their shelves are literally busting at the seams. Super over stocked. Why should Lancaster location be any different?? Huge inconvenience and not appreciated.2. Within a past few weeks they've installed cases for literally almost every toiletry. I'm not going to stand there and wait 5-10 minutes for someone to show up to open the case.. that is, if they ever do. Also, super weird to call someone over there to open it and stand there and wait while I smell every deodorant and shampoo until I find the one I want. Huge waste of time and very inefficient for target employees.3. Today I was in the store and asked why the self checkout lanes were closed. The employee replied, "they're getting removed at the beginning of the month". WHAT?! I'm sorry but it was a huge convenience and went so much faster when I checked my own things out. Not to mention, after COVID I don't want anybody touching my things. This will no longer be possible. Now I'll have cashiers touching my stuff with their hands that have touched everyone else's stuff prior to mine. NO THANKS!! Target has almost lost me as a customer forever. Any more removal of anything (curbside pickup etc.) and im gone.

Drive up drop off is amazing. Starbucks on the inside to sip while you shop. 10/10 good experiences

I bought 3 individually wrapped ground beefs today 6/30.. they weren't supposed to expire until 7/4. I just got home and opened them and there all bad. They all smell like rotten eggs! Don't buy meat from here. I can't even return it because I don't have my receipt.

On Sunday, I went to Target to get some of the basic items for my house and I've been coming to this store for years. I am very disappointed in the lack of items that are just the basics and how ever time I go to that store the shelves are almost bare as if someone bought stuff in bulk and as someone who works in a market if my supervisor came in and saw the state of the store my supervisor would give the manager an earful because of the lack of products and the state of this store is going down hill it's dirty, rude managers, lack of items. So now I'm going to go to the Target in Palmdale because I need the items in the store and it sucks that I have to go to the Palmdale Target if your going to open a store or market hire people who can make sure it's stock and clean please.

Very poor customer service especially this girl named Eileen (or aileen) from return and exchange/ order pick up department.I lined up to pick up my online order in the area that says order pick up (which i think makes sense). i called her attention asking for help and she replied I should line up on the return exchange area so I can see her better (WOW!) I let it pass... then she checked the system and she said the order was canceled because "probably" they are out of stock (without checking the inventory). Ok that's fine. I can find another item.I went to the baby section and I found the item. So I went to the counter again to make sure I get credit for the first item I got that got canceled and I asked for her name and with a nasty attitude and face she did say her name.What a shame to have this kind of employees! Eileen or Aileen Please be reminded .. you won't have a job without your customers. Least you can do is be a little helpful. If you're having a bad day don't go to work.

Ive been living in the AV area for about 7 months, and the first time I went to the Lancaster target, I was very blown away! At my old city, I had a couple targets that were around me, so I've been to a lot of targets. But this location, I was very disappointed. On my first trip to this target I was this person stealing and walking out like nothing!!!!! And once I went back again to target I would see the same thing, people just stealing. And that's when I notice that a lot of their items are locked up. I gave them a one star because they never have anything, everything is always empty. I hope this makes sense. I would like to compare this target to the one in Manhattan Beach, this would NEVER happen over there!!!! So I don't understand why this target is like this! I know for a fact that in MB the shelves would never be empty. They are always stocked up on everything. Now this store is always a mess, the kids section is always empty, and a mess. This location needs to do better. A lot of people shop here, so it would be nice to stock up, and clean up, and maybe have more security. Also, I went in looking for Krazy Glue and a certain dog food, and there wasn't any. For the glue the shelves were empty! And I checked my app before going, because on the app it said it was available. And they didn't have it. Same thing for the dog food, it said the food was available and I asked a staff member and she said they didn't have it. This location needs to get HELP!!!

There was a guy was an employee one time he told me i can't come to the store I said excuse me.. I also had my face Shield. This post is being used against for future investigations and courts etc I said I would do face shield I also discussed religious freedom which I did follow the rules CDC regulations during this time he was just being a smart ass he stated not to come to store. Also military veteran status

Great store. The store is never gross like Walmart, the employees aren't unhappy&rude like at Walmart&their products are great. Except their clothing that has completely gone to crap regarding style&texture. The slushes made target the best! So with the horrible clothing&a Starbucks (that's more expensive than the one across the street) takes the 5 stars down to a 4.

I went to Target for a quick in and out trip ended up filling my cart like all of us do... (who goes to Target for 1 thing?) I ended up finding some new things and when I went to use my digital App and coupons they wouldn't scan. Angelina Ingm (I believe that's her last name) credited me coupons and also helped me work the app a little. She IS THE DEFINITION OF GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE! Thank you Angelina for saving my wallet $6. Doesn't seem like a lot but every $ counts! Keep it up! The only down fall to this location is the very few check out windows. However you are all doing your best with the short staffing so I still give you 5 stars!!!

The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because of the crazy amount of loitering by the obvious non-customers outside of this store and in the parking lot. They're almost always found drinking alcohol, smoking, apparently on drugs, etc. just sitting on the floor or wandering around the parking lot (lock your doors). The front of this store is like their "meet up" spot. I'm all for do whatever the heck it is you do, but come on, how is this allowed by management? It's not a welcoming establishment at all.

I shop at Target a lot but two times in a row I have had a horrible guest service experience. An employee literally said he didn't see me and my two children and a shopping cart waiting to be helped at the counter as he helped another man who was not waiting in the guest service line. His said he didn't see us because it's so busy, but it wasn't busy at all. My first bad experience was that I bought a tv and it was missing the remote and parts and it defeated the whole point of purchasing drive up because I had to go in and exchange it. I'm done with this location.

Target charges a $1.00 bag fee ($.10 for 10 bags no exception) for online orders. Even though I only purchased one item online for curbside pickup. The Target apps says they'll refund any unused bag fee at the time of pickup. Customers should be given the option to decide if they want a bag or not, prior to checking out. Had I walked in the store I never would have been charged a bag fee in advance for something that I may or may not have used. This has got to be one of the most ridiculous unethical business practices that I've seen in awhile. (Other states don't even have a bag fee at all). Target please make it make sense because I'm clearly missing the logic. How about being more consumer friendly and less corporate convenient. Just saying

Just went here for the first time. Giving it one star due to rude customer service. We went in line for checkout. We don't like to use self checkout because we'd like to make sure people keep their jobs. The lady told me I wasn't allowed to stand in line there (the only checkout line open). She said she would pull people from the self checkout line. I then I get in line for the self checkout area and she tells me I need to move so that people can get thru or else there would be a problem. Idk to me that just seems rude for no reason. If I don't want to do self checkout I shouldn't have to.

I honestly love the Target chain but this Target is a nightmare because I can't enter without being stalked by the lazy, no brain "secret" shoppers/loss prevention. I don't steal, but since I'm brown and young looking I get profiled as a thief by these losers who suck at their job! All the other Targets in the AV are so chill but this one has some serious staffing issues. How lazy and dumb can you be to stalk a steady customer who always pays in full just cuz they fit a racist profile? Worry about someone else and stop hanging off my cart while I shop.

We needed to buy small packs of diapers for a baby shower and of course they had everything we where looking for. We were in and out of the store within 15 minutes of shopping and getting some caffeine drinks at the in store Starbucks.
