Classes are the best, that's the only reason I joined the ladies first. Also, I feel very comfortable coming to the gym.

Hello ! I have been in Ladies for more than 6 months. I like it but the truth is that there are things that need to be improved... especially the schedule. They close at 8PM, there are women like me who work, we leave at 6PM and when we arrive we no longer find the gym open. Saturdays only until noon and open at 8AM. They don't work on Sundays, the truth is it seems like office hours and not the gym. The people who attend are friendly, the gym is nice but honestly it would be PERFECT if those hours were improved, I don't go to the classes because there are a lot of people I prefer not to go in but at first that also encouraged me to go in and I'm a VIP, I don't feel That there is a difference in regular with VIP, the truth is, I hope you read this comment since it was written by internal and they tell me that they are going to evaluate it and I will continue for an answer. That's why I don't give it 5 stars.

I’ve been coming here for a while now and I really love it. Sophia is always so welcoming at the front desk. The classes are amazing and so are the trainers. Mondays glute class with Kim is one of my favorites. Tuesday through Friday are Carolee’s classes. From circuit to boxing and even her new spin class. These ladies keep it fun and make you want to keep coming back.

I have been a member of this gym for a number of years and I truly enjoy it. It is clean, smells good for a gym, safe environment, and I can exercise in peace. The staff is wonderful they are always friendly and eager to help. I particularly enjoy Kim and Carolee’s classes. With that being said I do feel like there are some things that need improvements. The equipment is old and while I don’t need things to be brand new and shiny, I need it to work. There are three treadmills out of about 15 that are constantly out of service. It gets a little frustrating to wait for equipment when the problem could be solved if the equipment activity worked. Two of the 3 stairclimbers do not work as they should. The floor space is a nice size so i can complete my own workout regimen without bumping into anyone. There is only one of every strength training machine so frequently I have to modify my workout if a woman decides to use that particular machine for too long. I feel like there should be notices that suggest time limits on the equipment. I used to utilize the bar for deadlifts but until recently there was only one. I am grateful they added two more. My biggest issue with the gym, unfortunately, are the hours of operation. They are open M-Th from 6am to 8p. I work 45 minutes away from 9-6 so i am not able to make those hours. I usually have F-Sun off but the gym is only open from 6am to 12:30p on Friday and Saturday so if I feel like getting a late start on my day off, I won’t be able to get a successful workout in because the gym closes so early. Furthermore, I dont even have the option of going to the gym on Sunday because they are closed. While I truly enjoy working out here, i think it is time for me to switch it up because I need a place that has hours of operation that are not customized for the stay at home mom.

I signed up for Ladies First Gym because of Kim’s Glute class and the sauna!! Her class is amazing and challenges you to bring out the best in you! However, I do feel the cardio machines are outdated. My favorite machine is the stair master, which they only have 3. And all three of them are either wobbly, side bar is loose, or not sturdy. I actually kept my planet fitness pass because of the updated machines.Overall the ambience is nice and relaxing.

I signed up for Ladies First for the Biggest Loser Competition. It’s a good all ladies gym. All the front desk staff and class instructors are warm and welcoming. All the class instructors are very nice and great at what they do. I particularly love Raquel & Shannon - they are genuinely kind & sweet women that are professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and will give you a great workout. Raquel is always ready & available to help answer any questions or concerns you may have during this competition and always has a smile!I do have two critiques…1. The gym’s operating hours are limited. The gym closes early on Fridays and Saturdays and is closed on Sundays. For those that work 9 to 5, in addition to being a wife or mom or both, or just had every day life events to juggle… it’s not always convenient or offer much flexibility into one’s schedule which forces you to get workouts in Monday-Thursday.2. Classes are limited. There are typically three classes offered in the mornings and three in the evenings M-Th, and less on Fridays and Saturdays. Classes tends to fill up fast. Again, doesn’t offer much flexibility.I have two suggestion…1. Disinfecting and Sanitation. Currently there are towels and a couple of spray bottles with disinfectant to clean equipment in between individual use. You constantly have to go back and forth to spray more solution onto your towel so that you can continue to wipe down equipment after you’ve used it. Although, I like and appreciate this being available and making this a rule (because I believe public places like a gym should do their best to be as sanitary as possible to practice infection control), in my opinion I feel there should be disposable disinfectant wipes readily available throughout the gym for everyone’s use and sanitation. One wipe stays moist for a while and goes a long way!2. The Biggest Loser Competition. It is 8 weeks in length. I think the competition should be at least 12 to 16 weeks. I know everyone’s body and response to diet and exercise is different and can vary based on many factors. With that, for a person like me, it took approximately 5 1/2 weeks for my body to begin to release water & fat stores to start to reflect on the scale. Eight weeks is just not enough time to show significant improvement, respectfully in my opinion.Overall, I’ve had a great experience so far and I would recommend this gym.

Ladies First is an awesome gym. The staff is kind and courteous. The trainers are amazing at teaching and pushing you to your limits. The classes are a blast, you are so busy you don't even realize an hour has passed. I really appreciate the variety of classes and the option to just work out on the gym floor.

I have been coming to Ladies First for about a year or so. I really like the fact that its an all women gym. Makes me feel more comfortable working out. I love the staff always so nice and friendly. Absolutely love the trainers Brittany, Carolee, Kim, Desiree and Audra. Love their classes! Unfortunately the reason I'm not giving a 5 star review is because there are things I completely dislike. All members have to book their classes. However there are members who do not book and say they do. Nothing is being done when classes get over filled. It makes the class less enjoyable. Certain classes get over filled and unfortunately the gym does NOT have enough equipment. The gym really needs to add more punching bags for Carolee's boxing class. We also need heavier weights for Kim's class. Last but not least the class floors are always so dirty. Definitely needs more maintenance. If these issues were fixed it would be a five star review.
