the first day i came here to sell a xbox and we were missing a HDMI cord and the back of the controller so the employee sent us home to get both of them separately so i had to make 2 trips and a while of waiting ,just for the employee to tell us the controller wasn't working so the next day i came back and i had to add a account so they could check if everything thing was working so i make another trip home to add a account and when i come back their closed BAD SERVICE!!

I've bought a few items from this GameStop, including this wonderful gift on clearance for my wife, was a wonderful Jack skeleton set that she loved!! Was so happy to find that gem among so many others at this shop :)

I've had terrible experiences with the Gamestop in Eagle Rock, California. I actually boycotted them and bought my gaming things off of Amazon or Best Buy or Target. I recently went to the Gamestop in Lancaster, California. Wow! I was amazed at the great customer service I got. I worked retail for over 20 years. Some of that time as a manager. My experience at the Lancaster, California Gamestop was excellent! I'm now a Gamestop customer again, due to the outstanding customer service.

Pre-ordered game and workers said they will call me when they get the preorder bonus. They never called. Also they lie to you so they can make a sale.

Ruben was awesome. Got my one console traded in for the new generation. Effortless and quickly tested everything then got the new system from the back. Experience was great. They asked about warranty and other services but not pushy at all

1 month ago, Associate Ruben at store # 06075/02 20th East and AVenue J, in Lancaster, made the exception for me and my girlfriend for me to be able to pick up both of our 2 Ultra premium collections charizard boxes (2 for me and 2 for my girlfriend) we both purchased them as separate people, we both used our power rewards accounts, our credit cards and different addresses (2 boxes per customer) and that is how we did it. I explained Ruben that the day of Release of this product (Friday OCTOBER 28th) my girlfriend Hema would be working out of town and if it would be possible for me to pick up my 2 boxes and her 2 boxes as well, he expressed that it was perfectly fine and made a note in the system stating that the day of release I would pick up both boxes. He called me 3 days before release to verify (again) that i would be doing that and also to let me know that Game stop was going to be able to fullfill both orders (4 boxes). I got there today, and Ruben wasn't there, it was Store LEAD Thomas (employee # 520014), who stated that my girl friend HEMA had to be present with her ID to pick up her 2 boxes, after I was clearly made the exception and promise that I would be able to pick up her boxes besides mines. Thomas said "I am the store lead and you cannot, regardless of what Ruben told you, it's 2 per person and she needs to be here" I said this is ridiculous then why did Ruben make that exception for me? "he said he didn't know" It was a very sour moment due to the fact that there was a lot of people in the store waiting and everyone whitnessed how rude Thomas was with his "Manager Backbone attitude" I am a long time customer of Game stop and i have been shopping at that location for more than 15 years. I am still waiting for a District MAnager to contact Thomas and tell him to give me my girl friend's boxes (WHICH ARE ALREADY PAID FOR AND PROMISED TO ME) and he did not want to give them to me. I am extremely upset, there is definitely miss communication between thomas and the other associates since he isn't providing the correct training and telling his employees to not make those promises and exceptions to customers.
