Dr. Richard Kling became my Primary Care Physician (PCP) at my request after I heard recommendations from two of my friends that also happened to be his patients. I was convinced that I had made the right decision for my PCP after visiting Dr. Kling's office the very first time. Dr. Kling's office is located within the Antelope Valley Medical Plaza, which is immediately adjacent to Antelope Valley Hospital. Parking at the Antelope Valley Medical Plaza is free, and there are always several convenient places to park nearby the plaza. There are also plenty of handicapped parking locations available nearest the building. In addition, parking is regularly monitored for the safety and security of the patients who visit this location. After entering the plaza, Dr. Kling's office is easy to find, located near the middle of the first floor of the plaza. After entering Dr. Kling's office location, patients are requested to sign in at the receptionist's window. Dr. Kling has several patients, so you'll usually wait in the waiting area for a short while before being seen, and it's nice that the waiting area is inviting and comfortable. The waiting area has a big-screen TV, a beautiful fish aquarium, and several magazines to keep you occupied. I have been helped by a few of the receptionists while being a patient here, and all of them have been friendly and professional. I have never had a bad experience. Upon entry, I have always first been seen by Raquel; she is truly a wonderful nurse and she deserves five stars all by herself. After I have my vitals taken, it's usually a few minutes of a wait in the examination room before I can see Dr. Kling. For this reason, I have found it beneficial to have some reading material or my smartphone handy to keep myself occupied. But, I certainly don't mind waiting for the excellent care that Dr. Kling provides. Dr. Kling always enters the examination room prepared to be completely focused on my care. I greatly admire him as a medical professional because he is always meticulous and careful with examinations, and he is determined to get to the root of my concerns. Upon leaving, I have always felt like he has taken his time to ensure the best path forward for my health, and I have always felt that he is patient in hearing all my concerns.Sadly, I will no longer be able to visit Dr. Kling's office due to a revision to my healthcare provider. Regardless, I wanted to leave this extremely positive review for others so that they can seek the best medical professionals for their care. I highly recommend Dr. Kling and his team for your primary care needs, and they all deserve a solid five stars!

Dr. Kling is awful. He completely ignores past medical history. He wants to do things his way without care about patients needs. Our daughter has major allergies and periodically needed inhalers when living in CA and TX. He is refusing to prescribe her one. She’s struggled with breathing since March (not Covid related). What kind of Dr. does that? We have 19 years of medical history on her.

I went to Dr Kling and found him to be kind and always listened to questions I had. He was very patient. His office staff was very nice and helpful for anything I needed. He always made sure he kept up on advising me of tests, etc. that I needed. I would recommend him.

not the right dr for me. 1st visit he said he would refill all my medications because obviously my previous dr prescribed them for a reason. well he only refilled 4 of the six. and every visit since then, hes trying to take me off my medications which include: cymbalta for fibromyalgia, nuerontin, naproxen, pain meds, etc. who the hell does this? ive been on this stuff for years. i have a multitude of health issues and he wants to put me through this?!

Ignored reason for appointment.Billed for a "meet and greet"Poor communication leading to a $500+ Out-of-pocket bill BEFORE ever receiving treatmentRefusal to work with insurance who would've covered cost.Avoid.
