I had a very bad experience with this Storage. I buy storage units for a living. Carlos called me about to inform me that I had won a unit. At the time I was driving and he asked me if I was confused and if it was really me who purchased the unit. That he would cancel it ,mind you he gave me no information about it. I ended up calling him back when I got was able to stop and park and talk on the phone. He continued to act disgusting being very rude snapping at me and told me he was canceling my auction and that he was with a customer. I told him I would have to call corperate he told me Do it! Do it! and hung up the phone. When I called the company, it was very hard to get in contact with anybody. I ended up talking to a representative and they told me a district manager would call me back within 48 hours. He continued to report me on the auction sight and get my account banned. Yet there are no consequences for his actions . Its simple I told him Carlos all you had to do was tell me the company and adress but I guess that really pissed him off. Never buying here again. He also banned me from the storage cubesmart lancaster but I have a lot of good standing business relationships with other storages. Avoid this place. I never insulted this man!? Im confused maybe he hates his job.

Check near by storage units before renting here. I was paying $182 for a small unit. I went to storage unit a block away and got a bigger unit then the one I already had a 4 by 13 for $88. Numbers don’t lie.

I have been with cubesmart for many years. I have never had one problem. The staff was always pleasant and helpful. They returned phone calls and the premises were always clean and kept up. I would definitely rent with Cubesmart again

At first CubeSmart was very helpful, I got a low rating for my storage. But I noticed my bill changed, no notification but I ignored it since I really needed a place to store my stuff as I was going through a stability crisis. I figured they were adjusting my price after my discount. The staff were very kind and accommodating. My price ended up Increasing 20 dollars more. No notification, just an email about my bill I was really frustrated and contacted cube smart support, told me that the price was subjected to change whenever. Basically got an offer for two months (which was supposed to be the remaining time I was with them) but they loop holes me and wrote it in the contract. In a singular sentence that my bill is subjected to increase. Not just that, my storage space wasn't working, I noticed the next time I visited that my handle was all jacked up, and it wouldn't hold up. I told the manager and he explained that I needed to be on site to tell him that. He said he would check it out and never said anything else regarding my storage space. I called support again to cancel my contract so I didn't pay the storage for that month since it increased and never sent me an email with my terminated contract. Two days before I just ended up going in the building so that there was visual proof I wanted to terminate my contract. I called twice, and both times acted like I still had a subscription going. I think it's definitely a business after your money. I asked why nothing was sent to me? They said "it should've been mailed and emailed to you" but apparently my address was inputted incorrectly.... I asked why not my email, and they were lost for words? As a young college student, I recommend finding somewhere more stable... as well as explaining the contract to you in a detailed fashion.
