On Tuesday, October 17 at around 11 AM, I purchased a roast beef sandwich from the Costco Food Court. When I got home, after I took a bite into it, I saw that there was a fly, that half alive still, in my sandwich. The older gentleman behind the counter who served me seemed a little flustered. I’m not sure if it was on purpose. But, there was a fly in my sandwich. And, that ain’t no good. Unfortunately I have to leave a bad review for that.

This Costco is darn near perfect. Great parking options so you're never too far no matter where you park. They have a car wash! Which is not something every Costco has. Their pharmacy and optical departments are on point. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I have never dealt with management so I don't know about that but if their employees are a representation of their management abilities, keep up the good work!

ICK! They only help certain people. They are blatantly disrespectful and cliquish. its As of f they only want certain people there, and their technique is to treat others so poorly that they won't come back. It's working. I would hope this is not the type of representation Costco wants for their store. I have watched some big names go out of business that way,This trip I encountered more professional people than rude that work there. It's been so bad I noticed. I have worked in customer service for years, and was nice to people and carried on a professional demeanor even minutes after screaming and crying finding out about a death in my family. So nice the people actually stayed and talked to me. There is no excuse.I have been a customer of Costco's for over 20 years. Costco is the one store I pledged my loyalty to in good times and bad. As of late I have encountered some very unprofessional and suspicious behavior. Although this last visit was better than the last and it ended horrible due to an attendant by the name of...that was so rude that I had to ask her if what she did to me was how she handled every customer. She said " yes, if I don't have someone here to bag, I ask the customer to do it, and swiftly rolled her eyes at me, and laughed." So, I am going to point out she said "ask" My daughter and I did not get the courtesy. I am getting the inclination that this type of behavior was allowed and understood by Costco employees and higher-ups. She had an attitude from the beginning of our transaction, enough for me to address the store manager and my 13 year old daughter to notice. Basically, as this person was ringing me up she says to me "start bagging your cart, I don't have a bagger here so you're going to have to do it yourself. She literally ordered my daughter and I to put our things back in our basket. When I literally watched her carry on a friendly conversation with the person ahead of me. She was atrocious, and she has NOT been the only one. I have also noticed that baggers will only help certain people, disappearing and returning once you are leaving. I drive an hour to get there. Next time I will use names.

We love this place. Come here every 1-2 weeks. Amazing prices. Good and cheap food. Crowded on weekends but worth it for the prices!

While their pizza is high on the "OK" scale, their idea of service is severely lacking. Waiting two hours IN LINE for a pizza is ridiculous. I tried to order ahead over the phone for over an hour and they never answered the phone at the desk or the food court. I guess the paid membership and lofty purchases don't buy decent employees to provide good service.

We recently moved to the AV! And I am so sad that this is the only Costco here!!!! Like how and why! I've been here a couple of times now. And I am not happy with the things this location has. They are always missing items I would always get at my old Costco. I did call the store and asked for certain items and they said every Costco is different. They carry their items based on what kind people live around the area, hopefully that makes sense. I'm going to call again and get the correct answer. At my old Costco they had everything!!!! For example, their dry fruit, they had all kinds of different options, and again because that Costco is closed to the beach and wealthy people live around there. I did notice that they are missing the sanitizing wipes outside their entrance, they don't have that here. So far I haven't ran into any issues at this location. I did give it 4 stars because they are missing a lot of things that I used to get.

The food was, as always, perfectly adequate. Nothing special, but cheap and reasonably filling. Standing in line for 25 minutes to get 2 slices of pizza after I had already paid; however, is the reason for my poor review. Fast food is supposed to be fast. At the very least, implement in your kiosks an "estimated wait time" based on the average time to serve each customer and the number of customers already. waiting to be served

Obviously Costco is a great place to shop for large quantities, however I have experienced multiple inconveniences with this location specifically. Recently, my husband and I were shopping here and the cashier refused to scan any of my items until my husband was standing directly next to me. I informed her we both were under the same account, same last name, just clearly different first names, but she refused until he was standing next to me. Once he arrived she scanned our items and then insisted to only take form of payment from him. Baffled by how complicated this transaction had become, I told her I didn't understand the problem with using my card, considering again we have joint accounts. While I understand this may be a Costco concern, I don't understand why it has to be so complicated. If Costco has trust issues doesn't make sense to give same households the same member account number so we don't run into such issues? I've shopped at plenty of Costco locations, but Lancaster, CA Costco definitely always has something to create an inconvenience about.

Putting the gas station at the entrance instead of in the back, was clearly sheer idiocy. Many times the cars are in gridlock and nobody can move. Just nuts! Needs to be fixed! It is my observation and other people I know, that there is no diversity in the employees working there! It looks like the majority of employees are people of color with very few Caucasians employed now! This is inequitable, biased, and instead of hiring people in a fair and balanced manner, Costco has gone so far to the left and thrown equality and fairness out the window! White people need jobs also and Costco needs to review their hiring practices to ensure people of all races and backgrounds are treated equitably!

If i could give a zero star to an associate named Ken who works as a cashier i would. Employee Ken is very discriminating towards guest and accuses and assumes guest age instigating a very uncomfortable unprofessional transaction. Ken was a very aggravating associate who made me and my family feel like unvalued members. Associates like Ken should be retrain to value there guest and not harass guest about payment methods when associate is unaware why the membership holder may not be handing payment directly. In other words Ken ask who is the member holder is and just clarify them if they can to hand payment. Never assume they can. Discrimination is rude.

Costco dogs are always delicious. A little disappointed they took away the diced onions.
