First and for most I’m a man of color and ray has been nothing but the best to me for many years are his prices the cheapest no but you are buying quality he buys pretty much anything and is not a chain store he is small business and cant live off of giving things away. He’s a good guy a pastor at a church and has always treated me fair I don’t mind paying a little more working with him because if I ever have a issue he fixes it fast and moves on like you should I’ll always shop at av sports :)

What don't they have? They have 1st responder uniforms & accessories (for those with appropriate ID), sports wear, bright safety jackets & vests, and lots of gift items.

I never give yelp reviews but i felt customers should know this. I went in yesterday evening to get a few green bay items as i was going to a family funeral that was football themed since the deceased loved football i thought this would be a great place to go as i looked it up on google. When i first walked in the owner was helping someone and asked what i needed help with i told him what i was looking for and he told me to look around the store because he had a bunch of products. and was a bit cold. i felt that from the beginning but i didn't think anything it. mind u im bi-racial and he gave me a cold feeling not welcoming at all i said ok & i went and looked around and picked up a shirt it was 39.97 in the men's section i took note of the price as i was on a budget long story short this man starts showing me shirts and apparel telling me how much the cost was and i felt it was really high. he kept trying to sale me items that were $80 or more he asked me what i did for a living and i said i was a single mother. long story short i got the 3 items showed below. the key chain was 14.97 and the shirt i got i took note of was 39.97 because it had a price tag on it .. when i asked him how much the shirt was he gave me a higher amount. even tho the tag on the shirt said 39.97 (i didnt say anything as i was in a rush and i really needed something for my sisters funeral the next day i was desperate) i also purchased a beenie he told me was $40 .. anyways once i told him i wanted these 3 items he took the items out of my hand and walked up tot he register. as he was ringing up the items behind the shelf i was wondering what he was doing but he was taking the price tags off the items i picked out. once i asked him my total he told me the price was $120 .. which i thought was ridiculous because in my mind that didn't add up.. i seen the price tags of all the items . . i chose not to say anything because i was in a rush. but the thing that pissed me off about this whole situation was when i got in the car i noticed this man wripped off the tags with the original pricing on it and now that i think about it i feel he took off the price tag to the beenie because it was less then what he was charging me. but took the tags off because he wanted to charge me more. after all of this the man had enough nerve to tell me to leave a yelp review as i was telling him it was my first time in his store and it looked really nice. i feel he price gouged me and took advantage of me. i was very upset as i wanted to go back and ask him why did my total come out to that amount because i took note of the pricing before he took the stuff out of my hand to walk to the register. but i thought about it and said since he wanted me to leave a yelp review then i was going to leave my honest opinion. He lost a good loyal customer as i have plenty of referrals and family that would've loved this store and not to mention i would've been a regular. i WILL NEVER EVER COME BACK TO THIS STORE AGAIN. it was my first and last time going. Here are the 3 items i got that came out to $120 and here's a photo of the price tag being ripped off so i couldn't see the original price on it. why would he need to take off the price tags of anything that i purchased ? i know why because he charged me more! My honest opinion it was a very nice sports store and if your looking for apparel this is the place to go but be careful as this man will up his prices on u. i recommend taking a pic of the original price tag and looking through the store yourself opposed to having him walk around with u. he will over price u!

Place looks like a episode of hoarders. Can barely walk in there, has a disgusting smell, the owner/ worker is a rude old guy that follows you around the whole store, especially if you're of color. Went in there and he followed these African American guys around within less of 2 feet from them, then decides to give me attitude for his experience with them. Ended up walking out while being screamed at by the old man. Definitely a racist old man, but that's how the world is. I wish I could give it negative stars. Do not come here. -100% recommend

I came here from Germany while doing a vacation trip. I like to visit Shops like this because in Germany we don‘t realy have those. Sport collectibles (especially for american Sports) aren‘t that popular in Germany. I had some doubts due to the reviews on google which basicly said that the Shop is too stuffed and unorganized and the owner would be unkindly. I decided to give it a try nonetheless and i must say.. i can‘t understand these Reviews. This Place was awesome for everybody who is in search for Sport collectibles. Some might say its stuffed - for me it just was a great Selection. And after some nice Chats with the owner i also can‘t confirm that he is rude or unfriendly. We had a great conversation and enjoyed our visit at this Shop. Just experience it for yourself and make your own opinion.

Over two weeks ago, my mother-in-law purchased a team banner for my son's soccer team. This company had no problem taking her money, but have time and again refused to give her any meaningful update as to when the banner will be ready. They gave her several dates as to when the banner would be ready, and those dates came and went. After numerous phone calls and no updates, she went over there and requested one in person. The employee (I believe was the owner) told her "it's on a UPS truck somewhere" and then said "can't you be a good Christian and learn to forgive?" Forgive what, demanding the product she paid for? And then, this person disrespectfully told her "well what would you like, an update every hour on the hour?" The youth soccer league has already started, and no team banner has been secured....even though this company has taken her money. I recommend that you NEVER shop here. Better to travel down to Canyon Country, San Fernando or Los Angeles for these things.....being in business for over 40 years must be feasible for them if they take money from their customers and not provide the services they claim. And if the owner of this business reads this, here's a tip: good Christians provide services after being paid for them. Good Christians DO NOT COMMIT FRAUD!!

The store is amazing ! It's has all your football gears from jersey to hats and more . Also for those in Law Enforcement and security he has the uniforms from LASD,LAPD and more. Also have security uniforms great quality. Looking forward doing business and getting my equipment to look sharp.

I wouldn’t recommend this place it’s way too expensive for uniforms. You could find way better prices at other places. As well he will try to lie to you saying that this is the best quality stuff to make you spend more money. For example, this hat cost $32.
