I am attempting to utilize a 3-day complimentary gym pass, valid through August 28, 2024, as confirmed on the 24 Hour Fitness website. However, Jocelyn and Samantha refused to activate it, They claimed that because I used a buddy pass for 2 hours yesterday August 23, due to unsuccessful account creation on the app, which led a friend to offer the buddy pass for assessment purposes. I am no longer eligible for the 3-day free pass, despite having an approved confirmation email to use the pass today from 24 Hour Fitness website. I was denied, leading to a disappointing experience and reconsideration of membership due to subpar customer service from Samantha, whose response was unprofessional and dismissive.
I want to use the 3-day pass before committing to a yearly membership as a spouse of the military. Samantha, the supervisor, lacked proper customer service skills and did not provide a satisfactory explanation. She said that the pass wasn't working because my name was already in the system, but she failed to show any proof and did not attempt to activate the pass.
When I expressed my dissatisfaction and said that I might not join the gym if this issue wasn't resolved, Samantha responded indifferently. This experience has been very frustrating. My friend even suggested canceling their platinum membership due to poor customer service. It's disappointing that the 24 Hour Fitness location in Lancaster, California, has a low rating, largely due to the staff's lack of customer service skills. How can I recommend to my other friends also willing to join if the 24 hours fitness employees are like this poor customer service.

Paid hundreds of dollars for a deal to get access to a dirty gym. The hand sanitizer dispensers are always empty. The dumbbells are never racked. And there’s a stand for balls and foams that is always empty. Many are not respectful of equipment and many less clean them. Staff is non responsive. I can’t be the only one who cares and not work here. Please, get on it! I’m already considering my money a loss and going to go to another gym.

I signed up for a free 3 day pass on the website and received it via email. I drove to this location and was told I could sign up for a membership, but they do not honor the 3 day passes that are available from 24 Hour Fitness online. This feels like bait-and-switch. I asked if I could just try the pool today and was turned away.

I am from out of town and came after work last night to get a pass. I was directed to a kiosk to enter my info and get a 3 DAY PASS as it was listed IN THE KIOSK. 25$ for a 3 day pass. I confirmed with the staff member at the desk. I asked for a receipt or documentation but he didn’t have the ability to generate that. I asked him how I would use it in subsequent days and he said just to check in at the front with my name. So I went at lunch today, there was only one staff member and she was helping someone for an extended period of time. Once she finally got to me she said no, the pass wasn’t good for 3 days, they don’t do that anymore for non residents (she looked at my ID). I told her it literally said on the screen 3 days. I asked for a manager. No manager on site. So now I just left work for a quick work out and was denied entry. This employee should have been empowered to make the customer happy. Instead she said I’d have to pay another 25 bucks. So 50$ for two work outs. Very disappointed is this gym management and payment system.

It's easier to say the good than the bad
I will only give 1 star for 2 good things 1 the manager is the best at her job girl this Gym doesn't deserve you you are a very good worker and this is the only 24 hour Gym what if it is like its name 24 hours
Things why I would tell you DO NOT COME TO THIS GYM
1) There is a cleaning lady who always makes a face at me and yells at me, she is very rude, not only with me, I have seen her do it with others and please, even if she doesn't speak English well, don't speak Spanish to her because she gets upset.
2) it is the dirtiest gym I have ever seen in my life, you will always find "wet floor" cones in the bathrooms, they will be your friends during your training because they last all day getting in the way in the bathrooms, in the showers you usually find them with clothes broken or dirty from someone who leaves garbage or dirty clothes, the bathrooms are sometimes covered or the trash cans are overflowing with paper, as well as the urinals are sometimes covered or saturated with pee for days
3) It requires a lot of maintenance since the tiles on the floors and walls are broken, the machines take a long time to repair as well as things in the bathrooms, saunas, pools and other areas of the gym (we have not been able to use the Steam room for half a year now). due to lack of maintenance) which they do not reimburse you for not offering the service, even an area of the gym wall is falling silent attached photo of it
4) they closed the family bathrooms without warning or reason, if the bathrooms that were close to the pool and the sauna are closed, they DO NOT say why, I recommend that you do not shit yourself and pee in the pool or the sauna, I don't know how solve that
5) during this half year they have had to close the gym because they don't have electricity at least 3 times and they don't say when you can come back that is a problem if you live far away like I do in little rock
6) they no longer want to provide basic things like other gyms, soap for hands, shampoo in the showers, there is no machine to dry your clothes, in fact there is not even paper to dry your hands, including spray bottles and paper to clean the hands. Machines often do not have paper or water or neither of the two.
7) you usually find the door frames dirty or damaged, the sidewalk at the gym entrance looks like a museum of stuck gum and the floor covered in dirt,
8) incomplete dumbbell equipment, you will notice that there are no 20's, in addition to Olympic bars, there is always one missing, either for squats or the one on the shore for the back.
9) Even though the machines work well, I think many and I mean a lot of them need to be retired and replaced with NEW ones.

Worse service I have ever had in a Gym in California. I walked in about 9:20 pm on Friday May 31 2024 and the young ignorant high school female that was working at the front desk at that appointed time was on a major power trip, not allowing me to go in because according to her calculations her manager instructed her not to let anyone with a free 3 day trial pass unless it was before 6 pm . WOW NOW I REALLY WANT TO BECOME A 24 hour member. I will head to a better establishment next time .

My trainer Christian is very good. I am learning a lot and motivated. He is positive and supportive. He is knowledgeable. This is a good experience for me.

I don't know what is happening to this place but it's starting to fall apart. They closed 3 bathrooms that were in the back and turned them into storage. I am going to assume that they need the space to store all the equipment that is broken down and they have failed to repair. The steam room has been shut down for 2 months! A lot of the equipment is worn down and hanging in by a thin thread. The bathrooms have only gotten worse when it comes to maintaining them. The locker rooms are mainly filled up by people leaving their stuff for days and the staff doesn't do anything to clear them out. I've also seen a guy take up 3 lockers and stores trash bash that are filled clothes. I think time to tighten up 24!

Buyer Beware!If you sign up and agree to be billed annually, they will charge you at that annual date and not reimburse you even if you cancel immediately. Read section 6 of their agreement carefully (pic). And good luck trying to discuss it with their manager Samantha. She is very well versed in their shady practices and has no issue with scamming people out of hundreds of dollars. Avoid this gym.

I come to this gym 3 days or more a week.The area where the Sauna & Steam room isthe restroom close to them is nasty always has no tissue. No one is working on the weekends
