These 5 stars are specifically for Irene. Her customer service is top notch. What a wonderful person overall. I had an issue with my doctor refilling a prescription and she went out of her way to assist me. She is very pleasant, helps customers with a wonderful smile and makes a sometimes frustrating transaction less difficult. THANK YOU IRENE! You are great!

I agree with the previous review the Pharmacy staff like Linda's very knowledgeable and courteous. I'm glad I moved from a big Pharmacy store to here.

This pharmacy is located inside the Von's at Woodruff Avenue and South Street. It is a full service pharmacy. The pharmacists are knowledgeable and will answer your questions. The entire staff are friendly and efficient. You can get COVID vaccines here if you qualify under the age rules etc. Next to the pharmacy are items you get at drugstores. Large selection to choose from. So many choices. Come look for yourself!!

This is my neighborhood grocery store and I come here every week! I've been to other VONS around the area and this location is by far cleaner and carry more variety of grocery items. However, deli section could use some improvement with customer service. It takes a while to get someone to help at times or to even acknowledge you after you've been standing and waiting there.

My experience at this store varies widely. Sometimes good - the 6-8am staff on weekends are friendly and efficient. I'm not going to gripe about stocked shelves because of supply chain issues everywhere. Today went around 10am and what can I say. Seemed the LA Cty Dept of Health mask guidelines were mere suggestions and don't apply at this location - many many many patrons without masks. Cty needs to know.

Love the great pharmacist and other employees that work with them all super smart, an extra helpful, I've been to many different pharmacy around the U.S. an I'm telling you this is the best in every way possible. I can't think of one bad experience in the hundreds of times I've been there. Also the prices are very cheap too. Thanks guys for the great service over the years.

I've been going here my entire life. It's the only place we have ever "groced" at. I have fond memories of coming here as a child with my family. Getting free cookies from the bakery. Opening items I shouldn't of. I love there bakery. It may be like any other Grocery store bakery. But it's our grocery store bakery. After the strikes alot of the people we knew who worked there left but a few of them still work there and that's enough for us to keep us going. They recently renovated the entire store and it looks great and brand spankin' new. The selection is that of any grocery store but for me...what puts this place for beyond everyone else is there Deli. Preferably there sandwish area. Everytime I visit I make sure I grab a sandwich. All and all this is a grocery store. The people here are nice and what more can you ask for in a grocery.

Mixed bag - some bad & some good. Seems like every other week a piece of cooler equipment is out of order. Today it is the seafood display (two weeks prior was the cheese cooler and month earlier was the same seafood counter). This time I asked person filling the frozen seafood freezer if able to purchase any seafood from the back and he said "not today". Time for some equipment upgrades. The bakery has some very good and fresh La Brea bread ... when they have it. Has been hit or miss depending which day you go. As for the people same story (mixed bag). Person at the deli counter today was friendly and very efficient while Yanet at the customer service area / self check out area was curt & seemed more preoccupied with paperwork. Manager definitely has hands full with equipment & personnel. Will give it another try or two - worse case another Vons a few miles down the road.

My wife and I like Vons for our groceries for the house and looking for those great deal they always have. My wife the produces and their Deli and Bakery. We always go to different Vons in different area and see and compare the differences from other Vons the one we go to.

Review is for the bakery. The lady was very friendly and nice. The cake was horrible. It said it was a marble cake but here's the thing, it was a layer of white cake on the top and a layer of chocolate on the bottom. Cake was dry and there was so much frosting in and on the cake it was barely edible. So disappointed that I spent 24.99 on this.

I have decided to make this review because of one person and one person only. I normally shop elsewhere for groceries but a week ago I decided to stop at this vons location for a few groceries and to redeem a coupon I received in the mail. Emma was helping bag my groceries and she went above and beyond making sure I left this location more than satisfied. Thank you Emma for being patient/nice/helpful. It is refreshing to see people who enjoy helping others while on the clock. And yes, I know most people would argue that a person on their shift is "supposed" to help customers, however this is not the case the majority of the time. Once again thank you so much and I will be coming back to shop here more often.

So far ... happy with the pharmacy. Efficient and personable staff. No lines. What a relief ... after trying to fill a prescription at Walgreens' and Rite Aids around here!

Worst store in operation. I might as well be in N*** Germany than Lakewood CA!!! If it wasn't for my prescriptions, I would never set a foot in that store again. Management is awful and services are poor. No more!!!
