I have been coming to this hair salon for the longest. I've had all types of hair services here: press 'n curl, braids, crochet, perm, color/ bleach, natural hair care, cut, full weave... Everything! And EVERY TIME (dramatic pause) I walk out feeling satisfied and amazing. The atmosphere is fun and inviting and I love how they give back to the community as well. I refer everyone to this place.... ❤️

Vicky is an artist. She and her team empower and raise the self esteem of black women through hairstyles and excellent customer service. A true entrepreneur she also contributes and dedicates countless hours to the Special Olympics. Braiders, hairstylists, and now a wax and eyebrow stations. So needed in our Lakewood community! Excellent

Kind and friendly staff however extremely overpriced. I washed and conditioned my own hair at home. Vicki rinsed, dried and flat ironed my hair and charged $85. For not washing or conditioning I found that service to be very expensive....more so than any other salon I've been too. Unfortunate because she was friendly and did a decent job overall. Hair came out way dryer than usual though....probably because it was my first time with her and she over blow dried my hair...no moisture was left.Service: Hairstyling

I love it here. Vickie does a beautiful job on my hair. I discovered here a few years ago when I took my mom to her hair appointment. She did such a beautiful job with my mother's hair I booked and appointment for myself and have been going ever since. She relaxes and colors my hair the absolute best of any hairdresser I've untrusted my tresses to. That's the honest truth. I always get compliments when I been to Vickie. I've even given family gift certificates so get their hair done with Vickie and they've been pleased with their results. Could recommend enough. Go pamper yourself and love beautiful results and be ready to hear those compliments when you walk out of there.

I am totally dissatisfied with the service at the salon. My paraplegic son has been going to the shop as a every 2 week client for over five years and was suddenly told he can only come on Monday and Tuesday because of his wheelchair. I was told there was not enough wiggle room in the salon to accommodate his Wheel Chair with the number of clients in the shop on Wednesday through Saturday. I made a special request that the caregiver be allowed with him in the shop on Wednesday to accommodate the moves around the shop, but never got a response from the owner Vicki or from his beautician Ashley. I can’t believe how my son is being discriminated against due to his disability. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT TO ANYONE WHO IS AGAINST DISCRIMINATIONService: Hairstyling

After being a customer for 5 years my handicap brother was denied services on certain days due to him being in a wheelchair. He was suddenly told after 5 years that he was only allowed to come to the shop on Mondays and Tuesdays. My brother is a paraplegic and needs a care giver. Unfortunately his care giver does not work on those days and is unable to accompany him on those days. The shop owner and stylist were unwilling to work with him. This is very discriminatory and against ADA policies. I will not support a shop that discriminated against anyway based on disabilities, color, sex or gender.

Lady cutting my hair did not tell me her name, but she completely ruined my hair. Asked for 1-2 inches off and she cut about 5 inches off. Messed up my layers and made my layers in the front look ridiculous. I have to go somewhere else to get my hair fixed now, and I will not be returning here. She was also being extremely rude to me the entire time and I had a horrible experience.

I've been a client here for several years, as is every woman in my family. Vickie is my stylist and she's fantastic! All the other stylist are very nice and professional as well.
