Cats too great care in getting me set up! I haven’t thrown a high end ball for years and when I took it out for practice, it did exactly what I had planned. Large selection of balls and equipment t to choose from. You’ll be happy you stopped in!!!

Went in there to get my brand new bowling ball drilled in and buy a new bag to carry the ball around. Service was friendly however, after testing it out for two games my ball felt really tight around my fingers and noticed a lot of friction which lead to a cut. I brought it somewhere else and immediately noticed the difference in how they were attending me. Asked me a lot more questions than me asking them.

Went there today to get my first ball drilled, the two guys working there were very nice and informative! Got the drilling done in less than 30 minutes and they gave me a free game to test out the ball as well (on them) which was very kind of them!They really went out of their way to help me as a beginner to make everything easy and digestible without any BS, and even gave me some tips & general knowledge about bowling I didn't know about. Left very content with my purchase. Definitely recommending this place to friends to get their balls from and drilled!One thing to consider, you do get drilling a bit cheaper if you buy from them. It's a great way to support the shop so consider that when buying a ball! Will definitely do that next time I get a spare ball.

Been here a few times over the past few months to get new balls customized for myself and my boyfriend, and we've never had a bad encounter with the staff! Everyone there has been so kind even though we knew nothing about bowling as they made us feel very welcomed and were very helpful throughout each visit. Highly recommend!!!

Love this place. It's hard to find experienced, knowledgeable pro shop staff these days. But that's what you get here with JP. He seems to do his research when it comes to bowling balls and can advise you what will work for your style of play. Definitely will continue to be a customer of JP's

I was a little intimidated going to a bowler's pro shop. I didn't know the lingo or if they'd be mean. I just always thought bowling people were like chain smoking angry people.. Thanks movies.These guys at The Professional Approach Pro Shop inside Cal Bowl were so nice! So welcoming and professional. They took this newb bowler and set me up with a great ball, got the fit right for my hand and made me a ball for ME! No more bowling alley beat up house balls. This was a big step toward going pro!Ok, I joined a bowling league and even though it's not AT cal bowl, I always come back to these gents for any gear I need. When my finger plugs wore out, they replaced them for me. And when I bought a second ball, they helped me like I was an old pal. I've brought my entire family here and outfitted them with balls and shoes, etc. We're all bowlers now!Thanks to the boys, JP and the others in the shop! What a lovely buying experience!

I bought my first bowling ball and had it drilled at this location. staff was friendly and helpful. I had a idea of what ball I wanted and was lucky it was in stock so I got it drilled on the spot. will be going back for sure I am going to bring my nephew and get his bowling ball drilled here.

I love bowling growing up and I never got the chance to take it more seriously than I have now, the guys at the pro shop are awesome and know their stuff. My first ball was a zen ball and yeah it probably wasn't the best way first ball for a beginner but I love it. My average was 90 and went to 160 in just a couple of months. If you need to get your ball sanded / cleaned up or if you're looking for a ball go to them trust me

Great staff of young guys.They were not afraid to drill my ball with an unconventional layout. Raised my average 15 pins within a couple weeks.I would recommend letting these guys help you choose your next ball and pair of shoes.

Just purchased a new ball here and the staff they have here now is incredible. Was assisted by a guy named Mikey in the shop let me just say he is the man to go to! He really took the time out to help me choose to ball to best fit my needs! He made sure my ball was drilled perfectly to my hand position even took me on the lanes to check my track on the ball to ensure everything was right! I highly recommend Mikey anytime you need a new ball with excellent reaction to fit you! His work is outstanding and really brought the hope back to this shop for me! Thanks again! Very much appreciated!
