Alex refused to give me a sales receipt for my purchase. If he couldn't provide me with a sales receipt I would not have bought the item plus he was very rude. And gave wrong mangers phone number. Last time I buy anything from this place

Came to buy my daughter a baseball cap and thankfully they had her size. She chose a panda hat and the workers were very helpful. We will go back to get her hat engraved but for now we kept it simple. She loved it!

Large selections of hats and you are able to customize. My daughter was able to get a very cute hat. It was the last one.

I walk in to purchase a gift. I know exactly what I need so I go straight to it and look for the size I need. They have 1 left but the white part had a stain. First mistake, why have white hats or any hats with white in them out for everyone to put their dirty hands on? I ask if that's the only one left. Second mistake, the sales guy is on his phone and says "yea" doesn't offer to see if another store has it in stock or if he can order it for me online. Nothing! I guess they don't need to make sales

Wham lids first opened it was the place to get your hat. They had so much variety and were superior in vintage caps. Now they bowed down to making customer hats.... Nothing new, nothing special

I will never purchase a hat from them ever again and neither will 1.2m followers of mine because I went to go buy two hats and they messed up the font size and they didn't want to fix it for me after I payed already and I honestly was going to pull both of those young man out the store but I said I'ma just go corporate because I didn't want to get in trouble it was there mess up not my problem so this is a message to corporate don't be surprised when sells go down after I post my new video they are the worst so not shop at here ever

My wife went in bought me a hat and got it embroidered she kept telling them that if the hat Is 7 3/4s they said yeah they finished she paid and she asked again if it's 7 3/4's they kept says yes My wife walks out and checks the hat and sees it's 7 1/4 ?! It obviously doesn't fit is there anything management or the owner can do ?

I never take the time to write reviews even when I have a sour experience because I also work in customer service and I know what it's like and the challenges that one can come across with. Today is the first time I am taking my time writing a bad review because it was a really negative experience at this Lakewood location. I came in looking for a Dodger hat. As soon as I walked in there was two associates behind the counter, both looked but NEITHER greeted me. I made eye contact with both AND still not a peep of welcoming from them.. didn't even get their name but one of the associates was a young girl with silver tone hair looked like she had an attitude and a male I'm not sure if he is Philipino continued carrying a personal conversation with each other. I needed help finding a size but they didn't even bother asking if I needed help, or if I was looking for something specific. My entire time in the store both stayed behind the counter. I went in with the intention of purchasing two dodger hats I needed but NOPE decided not to give them a sale and decided to leave instead. I left the store feeling pretty crappy and rejected. They didn't deserve a sale from me in spite of Lids having an awesome sale right now!! Corporate, management please check your employees and properly train them on how to provide customer service!! This horrible experience happened today,unfortunately.

I have been interested in getting the free Kobe tribute that lids has been offering for the hat that I got my boyfriend for Christmas. When I called Cerritos on Monday 2-24 during the Kobe celebration of life the girl that answered said that I could drop off the hat and pick it up Friday. So I started trying to call the Lakewood lids. I called all day literally. Over 18 times. Not one time did they answer their phone. So this morning I drove over to Lakewood instead. When I arrived there was only one guy working and he proceeded to tell me that the embroidery ended yesterday. I asked if I should try the Cerritos store instead and he said he didn't recommend it because they are going to tell me the same thing. Laziness. I went straight over to Cerritos and the gentleman there had it done in less than 40 minutes. DONT EVER waste your time by going to the Lakewood store. I will only shop at the helpful Cerritos store that I originally bought the hat from.
