This was the worst Lane Bryant visit that I've ever experienced. My daughter and I visited this Lakewood, CA location on a lunch and shopping day. My daughter is going off to college soon, and we "were" having a great day. When we arrived in the store we were the ONLY customers there. We immediately began looking at bras as we worked our way towards the front/register area. There was an associate behind the area BEHIND the register counter. I told her that I was looking for a certain bra, and she came up to approach us. I raised my blouse to show her which one. I purchase them all of the time. I also apologized for lifting my blouse. We both laughed. She then pointed to the back of the store area to direct me in the area those particular bras were WITHOUT assisting! Mind you, we were the ONLY two people in the store. My daughter and I shopped around for a while looking for bras. The associate (Teresa), her name according to my receipt, NEVER asked if we needed assistance or a bra fitting. I have been a regular LB customer and card holder for over 20 years, maybe closer to 30! I know the routine. I wanted one of the bras I was purchasing in the color brown. I walked back to the front and asked Teresa if they had my size in that brown. She nonchalantly said we have only what's out there... I instantly became annoyed. I then asked her if she could see if they had it on the website. To my surprise, she said, "I doubt it because those were Fall colors, and we have Spring stuff out now." I then asked again, she appeared annoyed. I said, "Please don't make me beg you to look it up. She rudely asked, "What color again?" Now I'm FURIOUS, but I don't want to get my daughter upset if I cause a scene! She rudely began searching on the computer, and I had to walk away looking at other clothing items to keep calm! I continued shopping around until my daughter came to the register with her items to purchase. I had won a gift card in a raffle at the Lane Bryant Torrance location (by the way has OUTSTANDING customer service) almost a year ago and wanted to redeem it at checkout My daughter presented it to her, and she said slide it. My 17 year old daughter did, but there was an issue because we hadn't scratched the code from the back of the card. She watched my daughter struggle to scratch it off. I then handed my daughter my Lane Bryant credit card to scratch it off with. I was told by my sister last night that they have a scratch pad right there to remove it. The associate never mentioned it or assisted. A manager or another associate came from the back with papers in her hand and was leaning on the counter going over the paparwork next to us. It looked like she was doing the schedule or something. She appeared to be more friendly and professional and smiled and giggled at me talking to my daughter. I was burning up mad on the inside at Teresa's treatment. I wanted to complain right then and there, but it would not have been pretty, and I didn't want to ruin our mommy and daughter day. I held it in but thought about it all night. I did the store survey at 6 am. I am now doing this Yelp report! Teresa had a smirk on her face the entire time and spoke to me almost condescendingly! She was rude and unprofessional! I am an African American woman almost 60 years old, I took this treatment very personally. Rarely do I bite my tongue, but I did it to keep the peace. My daughter and I had shopped at Macy's, JC Penneys, and made purchases at all of those places and went to lunch in the mall prior to visiting Lane Bryant. I wasn't going to allow her to spoil our day, but I'm also not going to let that treatment go without reporting it either! Customer Service at it's worse!!!!

10/8/23 It's been ages since I stepped foot inside a Lane Bryant store. I check out their clearance areas sometimes & find great deals, today I found a summer top that was originally priced at $56.95, after a 75% off, got it for $8.39. Yes! The lady at the register was friendly & helpful, conversant. Their merchandise is of good quality, although a bit pricey, most of the clothing I've purchased in the past have lasted well. The employees are always amiable. This one os located in the Lakewood Center mall, near Target, close to the carousel. My only complaint is, they do have plus sizes but limited to plus sized TALL women. Like....Hello Lane Bryant, short/petite XL women are people, too . I would love to see their designers & visionaries come up with designs for clothes for short & stout women to look fabulous.

Lane Bryant is located in the Lakewood mall. The clothes are stylish, high quality and reasonably priced. It's close to Target. Whether you need work, casual or a night out on the town. This is the place to shop for clothes. There's intimate apparel, jewelry and shoes too. Check it out.

I had made a couple of orders online and decided to wait until they were both at the store to pick them up together. I was excited to go to lane bryant and pick up my order today 1/21/2023. The employees were very rude and lacking in customer service skills to say the least. I was handed 3 different bags of which I took to the dressing room to try on to make sure I liked them before I left. I tried on a pair of pajamas that were comfortable and decided to keep. I had ordered 2 different pair and noticed that I only had one pair. I went up to the cashier to ask if they had another bag that belonged to me and explained that I want to return everything except for the 2 pairs of pajamas but one pair was missing from my order. She then said that I picked it up on 1/16/2023. I told her I hadn't picked anything up and she said " we will refund you anyways even though you didn't give us the pajamas " I did NOT have the pajamas. I returned everything else and it took two employees to scan the items to process a refund and they kept having issues doing so for whatever reason. There were other customers waiting in line while all of this was going on. I left so embarrassed and anxious. I called customer service and it turns out that it showed in the system the one pair of pajamas was picked up at the store on 1/16/2023 but wasn't even delivered to the store until 1/17/2023. Makes a lot of sense huh??! I can say the customer service lady on the phone was very pleasant and said she would be relaying this information onto the store management and also gave me a discount on the pair of pajamas that was missing. It was 2 Hispanic women and one, I am going to go ahead come out and say it,with a very extra lazy eye. I won't be coming back! Spend your money elsewhere.

I came here to get fitted for a bra and the saleswoman put me into a dressing room and never came back to see how the bras fit, I waited a few minutes and she still did not check on me. I had questions, the bras she had me try on did not fit right. I got dressed and walked out! The Lane Bryant in La Habra near my house is great! Great saleswomen and they are very helpful. I will go back there. Don't go to this Lakewood mall one.

The store is organized and clean. Staff are friendly. Google shows it’s on the front but it’s not correct. I think it shows it because that’s how you would enter the middle pathway. I found it easier to go they target.

Had only very large sizes no 12 in the panties, and the manager was not very pleasant maybe a bad day!, oh well!! another lost sale.
