Great store... very helpful and friendly staff. It's not their fault they're under staffed. I had to wait almost an hour for assistance in the plumbing department, but when Jesse the young man that did assist me... he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.. poor guy had like 8 customers waiting for assistance, and that was only in the plumbing department. Home Depot really needs to do better and add more staff, you figure since they don't have cashiers anymore... they could! That would truly create a harmonious environment between employees and customers.. employees won't be spread so thin and customers won't have to wait "FOREVER" to be serviced.

Needed a lot of help with curtain rods and blinds. We were not sure how to buy, get precisely what was needed or hang some products. Well along came Jessica, a 25 year employee at this location, smart, lovely disposition, and super attentive and helpful. She listened, got us all we needed, helped us make decisions and took us to her desk where we paid for everything. Wow! I thought the days of service were a thing if the past. She didn't even allow herself to be distracted. Thank you Jessica, you were great!

I generally prefer Home Depot over Lowes. I came here to buy some gutter materials for the upcoming rain event and checked online for the materials, set at this location, to see if the materials were available at the store. The materials were available, and I went straight to the aisle. The employee restocking the materials was extremely helpful to me and other customers. He could tell that I was struggling and was too embarrassed to ask, so he offered to help, directed me to the correct items, and even suggested a few tips on what was the best material to use for my project. This store should have everything you need for your home project and the employees there are helpful. I have never encountered any problems with either of them.

Home Depot Lakewood on Faculty Ave has horrible customer service.I was told to go to an aisle and wait on 2 different days, no one showed up.Today, January 26, 2024, I told a female supervisor in and black and white checkered shirt that I am taking my business to Lowe's.I told her, the customer serv9ce was lostHer response: oh, I'm sorry. OK, Have a nice day. She cared lessOH, I'm sorry. Have a nice day. She did not ask me what I needed. No offer to help. I guess they don't need my 20 or 30 dollars.. so sad. It's not her store. No prude in their work. They also don't have enough staff on the floor.

Needed a way to extend water line to dryer. I approached Anthony and asked for assistance, he not only walked me over to the correct line, he also took me to get a union to connect to my existing line. THANK YOU ANTHONY!!

Thanks to HD for saving my holiday. IN STOCK plumbing valve prevented a waterless New Year's.As any DIY home owner knows, sometimes emergencies happen at the most inopportune time.Store employees had the 'hard to find ' part ready at the counter when I arrived.Problem resolved! Let the party begin ?

So for this visit I had a really weird experience. Was in the tool area, and an employee was walking in front of me with another customer. An older lady with a tree issue. They stop right in front. I did a chuckle. She noticed she was blocking my view and apologized. She was very kind. The employee said, and this was weird and not at all called for, "I walked in front and am not apologizing". I was caught off guard. Definitely didn't expect the rudeness. Not sure what he was trying to prove. If I was thinking faster, I may have called him on it. Usually, I have a good visit. Find what I need and get done. Maybe a reminder to some of the employees that an "excuse mw" goes a long way. Manners people.

Came here to buy a a Milwaukee 1/4 socket set because my usual HD stire did not have it in stock. When i was paying, it asked for a Pro Xtra number or military Id number for a discount. I have a Pro Xtra CC. It was nit taking my number. The sales rep tild me to go to Returns/CS so that they can help me with that. I went there and they were completely clueless. The rep there stated it was only for military. I told her it was not. She had a blank deer in the road face. As i was leaving, i told the girl at self check out what happened. She apologized and asked if i wanted a manager. I did not. Im already fustrated. This store gets a no star review from me. Will definitely NOT be returning.
