Home Depot is hands down my favored store of all time. And let’s be honest there’s not a bunch of Harvard graduates working there. As as soon as the CAT knives showed up on the Home Depot site I inquired with one of the sales associates and she replied “ kitty cat” Of course I was referring to the CAT - Caterpillar- heavy equipment operator company But they don’t carry the stores so I understand for her it’s not part of her required curriculum. I was looking for a replacement bulb for a lava lamp which are specialty bulbs ( of course they have to heat to a precise degrees or they ruin the substance inside the lava lamp) And the sale aaaociate, looked at me all confused Then said “ really your supposed to use a special kind of bulb, I guess that’s why all the floor models of the lava lamps got ruined right after I changed the bulbs” And at the moment he was trying to help me find the bulb I needed The blind leading the blind I worked at harbor freight when I was 19 Not only did I memorize every single sku number of every item we carried I taught myself how to use every last one. And do construction to this day and I’m 43 I loved my job and was always very knowledgeable about everything we sold. There’s maybe two employees in every store that actually feels that way about customer service and it’s super lame because sometimes u do need assistance Even worse when u need something like materials for a job u don’t want to run into a guy who’s trying yo “ fake it till he make it” If u get materials u need to have cut for your order and prepared before u leave by the time u get back ti the job And find out the size is wrong u have lost time that could make or break that job and customer I still give it 5 stars because of inventory and my overall need for brands like Milwaukee and channel lock that lame Lowe’s doesn’t carry and that’s the only other option we would have

I went to buy this ladder, asked one of the ladies to help me find it, she did and when I was at the cashier they told me the price was $159.99 even when the sticker price at the store at $89.88. I recently lost my job but still have to take care of my Moms house. AC unit is leaking and really need to fix it. Workers at the store should be thankful they have a job. in a different scenario I would have just not pay for it but it's an emergency. Home Depot no good.

I don't recommend buying appliances here. unprofessional service and rude staff. I ordered a dishwasher because I was promised delivery before Thanksgiving and they were not only late but the dishwasher was broken on the truck before they even unloaded it.they said I'd be receiving a call within 24 -48 hours. no call back! I called and explained that I have 30 people coming for Thanksgiving and was treated rudely by one of the men in the appliances department. never go a date of delivery until I kept calling. nevertheless it wouldn't be until December 4th ,long after Thanksgiving. embarrassing to have people over to see I do not have a dishwasher and dealing with them has been a nightmare

This is for the Lakewood location. I originally went to said location on Saturday 6/22/19 with my grandson to purchase paint supplies needed to paint my bedroom. Worked with a nice man at the paint counter he helped with all my concerns since I am disabled and it will be my grandsons first time trying to paint. He suggested we get the paint a o e gallon and a small (need a small size since I'm doing an accent wall also) , primer, tape drop cloths and paint tray. So all is going well so far. The problem begins when we get to register. The cashier is new- no problem with that... but it is very slow since lady training her has to show her every step of what to do to ring us up. Still no big issue but then I remember I also needed some outside bug spray. She says no problem go get supplies then come back and she can continue our transaction. We get our bug stuff come back and she proceeds to check us out. As we're leaving I say to my grandson 'did we get everything ' cause he can carry it all in one bag. He says yes and we continue back to my house. Well now here's where the confusion starts. Now it's Monday afternoon and I am about to start prepping the room and want to try some of the accent paint on the wall just to see how it will look. I can't find some of the supplies or my receipt. I call my grandson asking him To check the trunk of car cause they are not here. He states nope not in car. So I call the store and explain what happened. They suggest I come back in and they can easily replace the items. So off we go. I arrive at customer service desk and explain my situation, they pull up receipt and disappear stating they are waiting for a manger to come and resolve the issue. Ok we wait maybe 25 min then a girl comes and states that we took all the supplies with us because they have watched the security camera and saw that we did that. I am truly puzzled by this and explain that we in fact did not take ALL the supplies we did have a partial order we took but i am missing 3 items. She looks at me hands me my receipt and says their is nothing else she can do then walks away. SO confused now so I said to my grandson well let's buy the missing items again cause I can't paint without the supplies and now I'm reviewing the receipt when I realize they never charged us for the items in question. Obviously when the cashier reruns the purchase she forgets the items on the ground but now I'm furious because the so-called manger should have noticed that on the receipt she implied verbally and by her tone of speech that we were trying to pull a fast one on her. So we get supplies go to line which once again is moving so slow and I'm tired now so I go to sit on my walker and sit the tape inside while sitting in the line that is not moving. I need to mention I have several medical conditions and take a lot of narcotic meds. Now once again we pay for items and I tell my grandson you go to car I need to go back to customer service and explain the misinterpretation of this transaction I walk out of exit to go into the enter door where customer service is and some young woman comes running up to me and says I need that tape. I didn't even know what she was talking about until she said the tape you stole inside your walker! What??? I didn't steal it let me pay for it I try to tell her I was so upset and tired she say come back to store. Which I did and she proceeds to have me fill out some paperwork take a picture and now I realize she really thinking I'm trying to steal a $6.00 roll of tape. And my grandson says let me just get another roll of tape she then becomes belligerent with him and says he needs to leave store immediately or she will have him arrested. Honestly I don't even understand how this kind of service is acceptable. Had anyone just looked at receipt like I did it could have easily been addressed and explained to everyone's satisfaction. I'm so upset and embarrassed that my grandso

I used to be a Home Depot happy customer but after what has happened I decided to write this review. I am doing my first bathroom remodel. After doing much shopping I decided to go with Metero Glacier-Ca-16SF over a discounted tile at Contractor Warehouse. I told the employee that I need 100 square feet of the tiles and he loaded me up. I paid and as my installer was doing the job I notice the tile that had sold to me were different in color even though, it is tagged all the same. I contact costumer support and said since my order was an in store purchase the manager at the store will help me. I got there and talked to the manager, Ron. He said it is not their fault that the tile was in different color. To me it just show that this store isn't going to take responsible of products that they are selling. He wasn't sympathetic to my misfortune and kind looked me like it was my fault. Maybe because I am a female. He was like well if the tiles has dye-lot it isn't us. He also said you know there are dye-lot and you should know better. Then I told him someone in the store helped me all the way and he got quiet, shows that employees aren't train to sell these products. He treated me rudely, putting me down. I do sell fabric so I do know about dye-lot and I will acknowledge my customers about dye-lot before loading them up with materials to do the job. I left the store feeling disparage and deeply hurt. I left the stores with tears in my eyes as he watches me walk out the store because of how rude he was to me. I also noticed how maybe this home depot is rude to females since most of the negative reviews are from females. It is just a pattern I see here. After talking to another customer service online and did some research myself, I am not the only person that is having this problem. So if this a known problem why is the product still in store.

Every time I have been to this Home Depot, I have experiences in the parking lot which I do not enjoy. When I am loading my purchases into my vehicle, there is a Hispanic man who approaches me speaking Espanol. He is trying to get near me and help me load my purchases into my vehicle. I assume he is wanting money too. I have to yell "no!" at him to get him to go away. And where are the Home Depot employees???? Nowhere to be found.

This review is for the Home Depot Protection Plan.. Purchased Home Depot protection plan for GE Washer and Dryer when I originally purchased them a few years ago, which was $120.00 dollars for each. Placed a service call for repair on 2/2/19 for my washer and my washer is barely being scheduled to be fixed on 3/11/19. Been given the constant run around with two different contracted repair companies that Home Depot deals with and I can absolutely say that nobody cares or bothers to try and make things right. The Home Depot Protection Plan is A JOKE! NEVER EVER PURCHASE THIS PLAN! Home Depot will never get my business again!

My wife and I are in the process of remodeling our guest bathroom. We ended up going with Home Depot for all of the materials because of price, selection and purchase specials. We had no idea it came with such great customer service via Home Depot store 6614(5000 Hardwick St. Lakewood, CA) expert Jessica. The customer service and expertise we recieved can be summed up in 3 words " Wow, thank you". Jessica's knew it all and even answers to the questions we forgot and should have asked. Jessica you are awesome and thank you so much. We'll make sure we send pictures when the remodel is done.

The most unhelpful Home Depot ever. We asked 3-4 employees for help and everyone either redirected us or never came to help us. It took about 1 hour and 45 minutes until the only helpful person (Roger) came to help us after noticing we were lost. This trip took way longer than it should have.

Plenty of parking at this location since it is located in the same area as Best Buy. Whenever I come to any Home Depot will be for standard plumbing parts. Just like any Home Depot they will either have it or not but the good thing is that they can always search inventory of other Home Depot's.
