My problem started when the ATM ate part of my deposit and the teller had an attitude and refused to help me.

The staff is always pleasant and friendly. I always feel good going there and being a member of this institute.

Terrible Franchise! This is my second time being rejected for a loan over small details that could've been explained before submitting the credit application. There's no reason why as a company you couldn't clearly explain the requirements to successfully get a loan. Hate to leave these kind of reviews but be careful before going to get a loan from here

Service was great. Three people helped little old me with my various questions. When one person didn't know an answer they all wanted to learn what it was. The branch is small but it doesn't matter, it gets the job done. Plenty of accessible and easy parking. Been banking with these guys for three decades and I just learned of this location!

The Pandemic destroyed what this credit union once was. As a loyal 20+ year member I finally closed my account and opted for another credit union. The Lakewood Branch is without a doubt the worst example of what poor banking business practices looks like. They have consistently taken advantage of the pandemic by adhering to a strict appointment only policy even when there is NO ONE in the branch.Poor customer service inside coupled with 1 ATM outside shows that FFCU is working on an old banking model. The fact that they still have some of the most competitive rates out there doesn't even matter because their banking practices are not consistent or even practical. With employees still apparently working from home and other employees doing whatever they want it's no secret why FFCU is struggling to compete.

Extremely poor customer service. It's September in 2021 all the banks are fully open even thier other branches are still open , but this location in Lakewood is still by appointment. OK so I made an appointment drove 30 to get here and no one is at the branch. I called customer they answer 30 minutes later but still can't go inside to get my money Extremely poor customer service. I think I'm gonna find a better credit union.

It's September 2021 all Banks and Credit Unions are open but for some reason this branch is only be oppoitment OK so make an appointment drive 30 min. Drive 30 minutes. To the branch waited 10 minutes I called the phone number on the door no one answer so I called customer service they take 30 minutes to answer. After waiting for about 30 to just get my money they said that have to give them a reason and what I'm using my money for I'm like OK. The manager Silvio Estrada, Sara Alvarez couldn't care less about helping me . Their excuse was that thier was sign saying I had to press I didn't see so I called them and all they had to do is answer and tell to press the buzzer. I think I'm taking my business somewhere else.

Everyone is always to nice and wonderful to work with... I had an issue one time and they immediately took care of... The tellers in the bank are wonderful... I have spoken to a few on the phone that weren't very friendly...

PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD GET A CHASE ACCOUNT AND CALL IT A DAY. please do not waste your time and money . First Financial CU is at best an inconvenient place to bank at its worst the DEEPEST CIRCLE OF HELL . I got an auto loan with this credit union and every month they invent new ways to charge me an additional $35 more than my car note. They literally make things up. once they charged me for a bad mailing address when i use the same address as my mother (who has been a member for years). They don't report to my credit which might be a blessing in disguise because despite me putting ample funds in my account each month for my car payment the transfer always seems to fail. You literally would spend the same amount of money dealing with a real bank like chase , wells fargo etc plus you would save yourself so much time in dealing with customer service agents who" just cant help" you. After months of taking additional fees with no efforts on FFCU's part to rectify anything I'm am done! Whats funny is credit unions have this reputation of being helpful because they are smaller they "care" more. Nothing could be further from the truth i have never felt so unsafe with my money and my credit. I implore you to bank elsewhere.

Terrible. I was approved for an auto loan at a rate I could afford for a limited time, but when I bought the car (within the time limit) they had increased the rate to much higher. When I objected they asked me to give them a day to "look into it", which they did not Do. By that time I couldn't return the car to the dealership because they had already sold my trade-in. First Financial Credit Union auto loan department is a scam. Never get an auto loan from them
