This Vons used to be Pavilions, but they since changed, and it's obvious that quality doesn't matter. Opens at 6, still blocking aisles at 8, expired food, especially in the produce, and the store looked dirty. Workers passed by and didn't offer to help me reach an item on the top shelf. No checkers, only self-checkout. The only positive thing as the checker who helped a customer who had a problem with self-checkout. She saw my frustration and took my cart through. Other than that, so many other grocery stores to shop near me & spend my money.

I shop here all the time most of the time satisfaction is meet but this time I had a disappointment with there rotisserie chicken that was under cooked. Thankfully, I have an air fryer and I finish cooking at myself Vons. Please be more aware at this time cause salmonella or any kind of stomach virus.

I use to shop here all the time. It's the weekend time and it's time to party. Me and a friend came in to buy a bottle of proper 12 real quick but it's locked up which is strange because it's like $20 vs the $70 maker mark isn't locked up but that's besides the point. We asked deli to call someone and they did she was nice I didn't grab her name we waited 15 minutes which we were fine with but then I walked up to the front to ask someone the guy he was rude (he was a white dude skinny nerd looking guy with short hair) I was polite and asked politely he just looked at us and turned back to what he was doing. Keep in mind there was people free of age too that would have helped we went back and waited another 20 minutes before leaving to smart and final we ended up buying 6 bottles of makers mark over there to stock up haha it was $40 compared to the $70 at vons... never shopping at vons again lost my business !

Couple min before 4pm on a Sunday gentlemen in deli department upset that I'm asking for some meat and cheese when he's suppose to be off. There are other workers there who could have helped but instead just complained. Was very moody and bitchy the whole time. If your shift is over just leave you have co workers who can help. Dont understand the issue employee was having. He just made it worse

I shop here all the time. The store is clean, bright, and well stocked. It's fun to look for bargains on the day old bakery rack. Unfortunately this time my milk turned sour by the sell by date.

Is there a limit to how many gallons of water you're allowed to buy? I go through it pretty quickly so I get 10 at a time so I don't have to return to the store for water every other day...with the way the water stocker was looking at me this morning with his little dolly doing nothing short of stomping his feet at me, I guess I was committing some major faux pas?...or maybe he's just a gigantic douche. Yeah, I think that's it. Vons, hire better people, or don't open your store until stocking is over. I'm over the attitude. You're a bunch of retail working Karens.

Stop jerking people off on your coupons and items on sale. They tried to get my wife 3 times in a row and then it's a giant hassle to fix it. I hate when companies takes advantage of people and this vons takes full advantage. You suck for doing this to people. Not cool.

Website says pharmacy opens at 8. 2 employees told me it opened at 9. I went to manager desk and pharmacist was with her. Opened 10 min. late. Then find out they put my script on hold because I don't normally use this pharmacy. With the explanation they don't call and it'd be 15 min. To even check to see if the meds were available. I get it if your the only one working... but then be on time. Also if you notice I use the other pharmacy, give a courtesy call to let me know you think they called the meds in to the wrong place.

With all the Vons, Albertsons, and Pavillions stores in Lakewood, East Long Beach, etc. There should be at least One store that's tolerable. NOT this one or any of the others. Not enough staff. Always long line. Then NO customer support at the Self-Check Out. I hope Boise, ID corporate is reading this review. Your Southern California Stores are mis-managed.

Ordered two trays of hoagie sandwiches and two trays of veggies. Veggies were good, but the sandwiches all had one piece of meat in it and no cheese. So disappointed order many times before and were great. Complained to the manager and all she said was sorry about that. Will never order from the deli at vons again. Paid over 200.00 dollars for that.

This store is slipping in a bad way, operationally almost zero staff. The added self check out has zero support staff to assist. I quit using them as prices are wrong quite often. Usually overcharging for items and sale price items are missed. Customer service is horrible, I went today and got a few items the cost was 30 bucks. I thought I would use a few rolls of quarters as the store never has change and want you to round up your payment. They say it is not a new revenue source but LA is having a coin shortage. Wow was I surprised when the checker who was a supervisor told me that their was a Vons Corporate company policy that mandates she is not accept to take quarters. Since when did quarters become non-legal tender? Then while stopping everything 2 separate times to point at the stores coin star machines and with a deal of sarcasm she told me quite loudly that's why we have those big giant green coin star machines at the entrance for coin exchange. I explained to her that I wasn't paying a 3rd party 20% to count 30 bucks in quarters. By this time the entire line was backed up because it was so difficult for a cashier at Vons to count out 30 bucks in quarters. Prior to leaving I asked the same cashier again she was sure, that Vons Corporate Policy officially does not allow cashiers to accept change in any circumstances and demands customers be directed to always use the coin star machine? She again confirmed that yes indeed it was a official Vons Corporate mandatory policy and was only following Vons Corporate policy. If this in fact a true Vons Corporate mandatory policy. I'll be starting a nationwide class action lawsuit ASAP as this is a Rico type situation of a organized criminal empire whos activity is to fraudulently steal from their loyal customers. However in reality I'm hoping it is in fact not a corporate policy. But rather just poor judgment from a rogue store supervisor trying to make policy to make her job duties easier. Ralph's is half a block away from this store. I'll never spend another penny in Vons, nor will my family. I already sent a email to "Vons Corporate" complaints department. I will also send an editorial to every press publication in the greater Long Beach Area. Contacting the Better Business Bureau. Etc....

One of the worst Vons locations I've ever been to! Just trying to get into the parking lot and to the gas station was unbelievable! The gas station had lines like all the Costco locations! I am not exaggerating! The lines were so long that you could not even enter the parking lot in a safe manner. You had to enter and drive around everyone in the lines that they created, which were blocking the flow of traffic. Had an emergency vehicle needed to enter, good luck to them! You would think Vons would have an employee out there helping with the gas station, but nope! No Vons associate in sight. The price wasn't even that cheap. After I finally got through the gas station lines and parking lot, I left! There was a homeless person who set up camp right outside the entrance to the store, and was acting erratically - not a safe environment. Drove down the street and saw a gas station with the same price as this Vons one! Never coming here again based off this ordeal!

Come here all the time because I live near. The whole staff is normally nice and professional. Yesterday the cashier woman was rude. Didn't look at me. Didn't say a single word. Barely handed me the receipt. Literally said nothing. As if I was bothering her. Why is she in costumer service? Should be worrying in a warehouse. I think she was new, name was Kaylee. Ill go to sprouts probably next time. Ref number 595158159440
