I went in for a free pass that I got in my email. Immediately I get pushed into a membership. I at least repeated myself 10 times throughout the gym walk through and when I get asked again what I’m doing, I stated I was planning on using my free gym pass that I got in my email for the day. The crunch employee proceeded to ask me again as if I was stupid so what are we doing ? So at that point I can either drive home or just get the membership and workout like I wanted and it really sucks that the employees here push sales in the most invasive disrespectful way you can think of. I repeated myself when I said I had a personal trainer friend and had no intentions to pay for one. Why are you guys still calling me and asking me to get the personal trainer ? Does no not mean no to you guys ? How many times do I have to say it. The thing about this situation is an employee from another crunch fitness told me they get a lot of complaints from this specific one in Lakewood for the same exact reasons. This place is gross and I understand I gotta go to Long Beach or the area to update my payment but if you guys charged my card 5 times within 7 days, I’ll just report it as fraud not even la fitness or 24 hour fitness would charge you repeatedly within a short time span. I just got my membership last month, biggest regret.

I opened a crunch membership about a month ago and I am pleased with my experience so far. I am fairly new to the gym so I appreciated the General Manager being very helpful and knowledgeable about everything.

Only 24 hrs a few days a week, opens late on Saturday and Sunday, the staff is actually pretty cool, but equipment, cleanness ,and gym hours need to improve

Came in to crunch and I was in dire need of assistance since I am out of state, I asked the worker in the front named Fabian to with a middle part and asked him if he knew how to fix my alternator, he stepped up with no hesitation and had my car running in 30 mins. Sending love from Texas, Crunch fitness is the best ??

I've been trying to cancel my membership but they make it impossible. I moved more than an hour away and have tried going on weekends to cancel. But, they say you have to do it in person and with a manager present. Problem is, their manager's hours are Monday through Friday 9 am to 6 pm. How irresponsible is it to not have any managers present on weekends? I work Monday through Friday and I'd never be able to make those hours. I've tried emailing both the manager and the regional owner and have gotten no response. I was also misled by whomever opened my membership(I don't recall the name). They said I would only pay 25 a month. But, I've been charged 28.99 plus random 50 dollar charges multiple times a year! Stay away from this gym. All the bad rap of gyms being impossible to leave and their sales people screwing you over are well earned here.

Bad bad realy bad costomer service very unprofessional i went twice to cancel my membership twice and the manager wasnt available i had to go out of town i told them to cancel my membership and they wont do that .i dont know what was i expecting the gym its self is wack . definitely wouldn't recommend this gym even if going as a member pass if they would have zero star rating i would definitely use it they dont even deserve one star im surprised they have 3

Absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced, Casey or Kasey however you spell her name said she was the manager, complete lack of customer service. Speaks to customers in a very rude and rash manner. Makes easy transactions, very difficult. This franchise should invest in hiring better reps, for their
brand.

I recently had a frustrating experience with Crunch Fitness in Lakewood. I needed to cancel my membership, and Casey, the manager, informed me over the phone that I had to come in person, show my ID, and sign a form. I ended up driving hours just to do this. When I arrived, Casey wasn't even there! To make matters worse, I found out I didn't need to sign a form or show my ID at all.
The entire trip was a complete waste of time. Casey was very rude on the phone, and this level of unprofessionalism and misinformation is unacceptable. I am extremely disappointed with how this situation was handled. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

This gym sucks with the staff the people that goes there and all the equipment specially the music they play I don’t recommend this gym at all they want my spouse to get her own membership so what’s the point of having a membership that I can bring a guest if they want my guest to get they own worst service ever specially with the supposedly manager Cassie or whatever her name is Lakewood gym should be shut down or get new management zero stars I rather go to Norwalk crunch fitness better service and also staff is very friendly they should learn from them
