Bad. I have been coming here for a year. I have two cats and one dog. My over all experience is bad, and the money I have spent is a total waste. My dog has a pimple on her head, I took her to here then I found out the Veterinary doesn’t know better than I do. He doesn’t know what it is either. Every time I see him, he perfunctory me and just want to run out of the room. He gave my dog some medicine to apply, 7 days past it didn’t work for my dogs pimple at all. And I have the same experience with my cat at this vet previously. My cat has tears, I took her here twice just wanted to find out why. I got a bottle of eye drops from him ($40), she used whole bottle it doesn’t work at all. So I took her to here again. The veterinary came to room stayed about 10 mins telling me the same thing, then he just want to hurry up run out of the room. If I knew he didn’t know better I wouldn’t spent another $67 just for him to see my cat again. My the other cat rabies shot is due. They told me I have to let the veterinary see me cat first then I can get the shot for my cat. So there you go another $67 easy money for him! The front desk is very rude, every time I took my dog to there she stares at my dog telling me my dog has so many behavior problems! I think she has a side job work as a dog trainer because she keep saying my dog is bad and I can’t handle her in the future! Asking if my dog is taking training lessons and where. But hey, I understand she is short for money, but what I do with my dog is none of her business. My dog is a 5 month old German shepherd, she got anxious when I took her here for her pimple. She is actually one of the calmest dog I have seen In real life. I take her to work with me almost every day. She can stay in a room without barking for more than 8 hours. I could tell the assistant lost patience after shaving a coin sized hair for my dog, because she lost patience answering my questions. When I left the front desk dog trainer said sarcastically “ good luck to you!” Then she talked to the person next to her” a lot of work for her! “ VERY RUDE. I don’t recommend anyone who care for their pets come to this vet. People here don’t really like animals even if they trying to act like they are super sweet to your pets. You can tell the truth as time passes by. Be careful if you have a large dog, they discriminate. If your dog act alive they will force you to pay for a shot or medication to make the dog calm down. It is a waste of money and bad experience for me. They are very good at sending your pets to do unnecessary tests. The veterinary himself does not have enough skill and knowledge. Do yourself a favor don’t waste money here like I did. Their google reviews authenticity is questionable. Their yelp review is more accurate to me.

A Wonderful Experience with Dr. Arambulo and the Team at Bloomfield Animal Hospital! :)
We recently had our Goldendoodle, Zadie, spayed at Bloomfield Animal Hospital, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the entire experience. Dr. Arambulo and the team were incredibly professional, compassionate, and attentive from start to finish.
Zadie’s procedure went smoothly, and her recovery has been just as successful—she’s healing beautifully and is back to her happy, energetic self. The level of care and attention to detail that Dr. Arambulo provided gave us complete peace of mind, knowing that Zadie was in the best hands possible.
We’re so grateful for the exceptional service we received and highly recommend Bloomfield Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a caring and skilled veterinary team. Thank you for taking such great care of our family!

I have been coming here for awhile, and I have three pets. I can tell you this place is bad, they just want to dig money from you, using your love for your pets. First time visiting was for my cat she was only 2 months old at the time. The animal care where I adopted her gave me a free exam card that is how I found this place. My cat just came home for a week. This place recommended me to get their " kitten package " which is a a total of $360. I cared for my cat's health so I got it. Then soon I realized this package is totally unnecessary. It either repeats some of tests she already done at the animal care or totally unnecessary. I regret not stopping coming here at the time. The beginning is bad then it becomes worse and worse. The veterinarian doesn't know better than average person. I took my cat to see him twice because she has tears sometimes. I used a whole bottle of eye drops he gave to me. It didn't work at all. Then my dog got a pimple on her head I took her to see him, again, he doesn't know what it is either! I bought some cream from him to apply most likely it is not going to work. But, he is very good at avoiding my questions, he did not even let me talk, he just wants to get out of the room as soon as possible! What a shame that I spend $67 every time to see him just want him to tell me what is problem with my pets. He is also good at sending my pets to do unnecessary test. I say my dog has soft poop, then he wants her to take tests! I adopted all of my pets from OC animal care, it is a reliable place. They made sure all of them are healthy before releasing them. All of my pets came home healthy. And I know this veterinary's suggestion is totally unnecessary again! People here hardly like animals. Every time I take my dog to there, one of the front desk judging my dog in every way she could. Very rude. She probably has a side job working as a dog trainer or something. Because she tells me there are many behaviors problems with my dog need to be fixed. She even train my dog in front of me! Asking me if I take my dog to class and where. My dog is a five month old German shepherd, she got anxiety when she was there for the pimple on her head. So these people stare at her like she was a piece of trash. My dog is actually a calm dog, I take her to work every day. When these people left room, she soon became calm. I don't recommend anyone who care for their pets come to this vet. It is a totally waste of money, and the service you receive is bad. They just want to take away your money and hurry up to push you out of there. They know no more than sending your pets to tests or exams. If your pet has a condition, and you wonder why. They can't tell you the reason either. They don't know better than you do.

Came here for my pup's first check-up after rescuing her and had a very bad experience (that I now see is somewhat common on other review sites).
She had a respiratory illness from the shelter. We were pressured into spending about $500 on medications to treat it, and (after later research) realized that all except one were pretty unnecessary and expensive. Large amounts of medications to dull symptoms that were hardly present. If we had more time to ask additional questions or felt less pressured, we wouldn't have opted to move forward with all of them and would've looked for a second opinion.

Very clean facility. Super friendly staff and very attentive, from receptionist to the vet techs and Dr. I highly recommend this place, it's mainly by appointments only which I love, it doesn't get over crowded (at least not when I've been there) our pups are in and out in no time. Thank you to all the staff! Ely, Nicole, Liz, Jessica, John and Dr. A.

Appreciate the care that’s put into the work they do here. Dr A is awesome, he took the time to talk me through things. Going to be coming to them for all my pets.

DO NOT COME HERE - I absolutely do NOT RECOMMEND coming here for your pet. They required us to get bloodwork done regularly to ensure my dog was healthy (which we were okay with). Instead of doing their job and reviewing the lab results carefully, they overlooked my dog's lab markers, indicating that he is at risk of Cushing's and Diabetes. We went to a different vet who reviewed my dog's medical history and stated that our previous vet should have communicated these alarming lab results as soon as they received them back in 2022 (which Bloomfield Animal Hospital did not). Additionally, this WHOLE time, Bloomfield Animal Hospital said my dog had hypothyroidism when my current vet now is stating that he never had hypothyroidism. So basically, Dr. A has been requiring us to give my dog Levothyroxine (a thyroid medication) twice a day, every day for no reason. And they were charging us for regular refills..? What a SCAM. If you want a vet that carelessly overlooks your pet's health and you're okay with swiping your credit card repeatedly, come here! :) But if you care about your pet and want what's best for them, go to a real vet somewhere else.

When I went I loved that they took care of my cat named “cow” which the vet techs thought he was cute but they were easy and fast with the vaccines! Might bring my other cat for a check up! :D

Didn’t appreciate today’s service. When I brought my dog here the first time they told me I had to bring him again for 2 more shots & that it would be about 50 or a little less just for that. I came in today, they told me he was just getting his two shots. I took him into the room, the doctor came in and checked him, they gave my dog his shots, sent me to the front. And when it was time to pay the total came out to 89. I asked why and they told me because they checked my dog’s heart. Which I was never told he was going to receive or that I was going to be charged for that. They had the opportunity to tell me when I checked in & when I went into the room, but they didn’t until it was time to pay. If they would’ve told me from the beginning from the first time I brought him it would’ve been fine. It just felt like they’re trying to find anything to charge me for to get more money.

I feel so lucky to have finally found a veterinarian that I totally trust my dogs lives with. From the very first day, Dr. A. read my dog’s lab records from a nearby vet and treated him for a condition that was life threatening and was unnoticed by the other vet. He prescribed a medication that is working for my dog’s medical problem. He found an orthopedic surgeon to perform surgery for my dog’s lameness. With each exam he comes into the room and explains the procedure to me. The staff at his practice is exceptional! The prices are reasonable. When you make an appointment, the wait time is less than 5-10 minutes. The atmosphere comfortable and encouraging. Again, I feel so lucky that I have finally found a vet that I trust, can afford, and am completely happy with.

Would not recommend this place. Brought my yorkie for a tooth removal, they ended up taking 15 and he did not recover well. He developed kidney problems after and passed within 3 months.
