I cannot say enough good things about the mechanics at the 76 station on Bellflower and Del Amo. Been dealing with an interior leak for ages, and I figured out it was the AC drain that was clogged. Took it in today, and they put it right on the lift, cleared it in 5 minutes, about a gallon of water came out and required clean-up in their shop, and they didn't charge me at all. I had to fight them to take a $20 tip. Really great guys, always take great care of our cars.We took the 1999 4Runner in, for what was quoted at another place to be an ignition issue, going to cost $500 or so, and they figures out that wasn't the issue at all. $150 out the door.These people are honest, fast, and super nice.

I didn't get gas I went to the Repair Station connected to it. They are separate there is the gas station and a convenience store and then there's Lakewood 76 Auto Repair which is where I went. It was a very pleasant experience I got a new battery and it was installed at a fair price and a very well named battery so I expected to last a long long time. I've been to this place before many times and I've always had a great experience. They are honest and fair with their pricing and explanation of what is wrong with your vehicle so it's my to go place strongly suggest others do the same even for oil changes or getting a whole motor rebuilt or put in they can do it all! Very happy with this repair shop.

I miss the old owner. I was floored when I took my car in the other day and was charged $85 for an oil change. Me and my family have taken our cars here for years and Orlando was great and didn't charge a ridiculous amount. Next time I will take the car to the dealership for a better price. The mechanics are really nice and do great work though. Be sure to ask up front of the cost before getting work done and check other places, including a dealership before having your car worked on.

I just moved here from Chico and had some issues with needing to replace my alternator and car battery. Spoke with a person working there named JD over the phone and they walked through my options to get both replaced and brought my car in a day later. The shop didn't automatically gravitate towards getting me to pay the most expensive parts. I was pleasantly surprised they took the time to get my car in some quickly even though I think they were slightly backed up. They were able to replace my old alternator and check everything else with my car and give suggestions for future needs. They didn't do anything extra without letting me know. I got print outs of reports showing what was done before and after along with the actual work order. Will consider bringing my car back to get the battery replaced. They even cleaned up my battery to help in the meantime.

I miss Orlando the original owner of this establishment being that I had been going to him since I could drive. The new owner Rick is a good dude though and kept up with the great service Orlando provided when he was the owner. This is probably partly due to some of Orlando's guys still working for this shop. I basically come here for everything vehicle related.

I come here often late at night and the employees are always very friendly except for when this one indian or arab looking guy is working. He will barricade and hide himself from view so that he doesnt have to help anybody even though this establishment is supposed to be 24 hours. How do you expect to remain in buisness when Arco across the street is so much cheaper in gas than you... seriously, might be worthwhile to let this employee go. Hes costing this location the sales it needs to not go under.

Come to Lakewood 76 repair, the guys are quick and tend to you immediately. No standing around waiting to addressed. They are kind, courteous and go above and beyond. JD and Andy are great guys and I recently spoke with the owner Rick. I really enjoy all of their conversations, experience levels and overall work ethic. There have been times when I have showed up unexpectedly only for the guys to immediately address the issue usually with a solution. On another occasion, my wife's vehicle battery suddenly died and AAA would not help due to an electrical reset of the computer nor would they provide me with a battery leaving her stranded. I had the car jump-started and limped over to this shop. JD immediately fixed me up with a new Interstate battery and reprogrammed the vehicle's computer errors within minutes. The crew at the garage seemingly get along well judging by their smiles and laughter throughout the shop which extends to the customers feeling comfortable. Great job guys, keep up the great work. Rick has always been good to husbands classic truck until today, he tried conning him out of money when it came to his fuel pump. My husband knows how to repair the hoses himself he just needed a fuel pump swap was and Rick refused to do the service unless my husband paid for all the other stuff that he's capable of doing on his own considering he built the engine himself in a classic 69 C-10 pick up! Never touching my husbands truck again! MAC'S AUTOMOTIVE HAS ALWAYS HAD OUR SERVICE AND ALWAYS WILL! They back there work up and guarantee they're work!

The owner (Rick Gammoh) has been working on my cars since the late 1990's and I will continue to follow him where ever he goes, if you want Quality service, honest work and no BS you'll find it here!!! I have never taken my cars anyplace else since I met Rick!!!!!

I'm not from around here, but needed brakes asap. I called Saturday, and they got me in within that same hour. They told me what was needed right away. I dropped off the car, and went about my day. The cat was done within 2 hours. I was impressed how fast, and easy the process was. They never left me waiting for service, and everyone was very friendly. This place deserves more positive reviews. I will come back anytime.
