Came out to check my AC and gave it a clean bill of health. Even though they took the time to come all the way here and check my system, they didn’t charge me anything. How many companies these days will do that???

The quick review for the lazy readers:
They do good work. They dont try to nickel and dime you or sell you something you dont need. They are honest people.
The longer version:
It's almost 2 year from our AC installation on a pre-existing heater system. (We also upped the size of the heat pump and added a duct facing the master bedroom because original system was probably installed before the master bedroom add on). So far so good. The master bedroom doesnt get the full advantage of the AC/heater system, but that's not the SDAC fault. They warned me that it wasnt going to be the same as having a duct inside the room. The extra duct outside of the room pointing towards the room definitely helps though.
A maintenance guy came last year to do a free preventative maintenance. He was very thorough and answered my questions while he was working.
Yesterday, i had the ac coils cleaned. They werent that dirty, so they charged me less than they originally quoted. SWEET!
Tangent story: A few months back, the solar installation guy was looking for the grounding something or other and he looked in the AC closet. He commented that the AC company that we chose was very good with their work. He said he could tell by how everything was laid out and how clean it all looked. I dont know how any of that stuff is suppose to look. I figure it must be good if the solar guy is commenting on it. The solar guy was really into layouts. He said he made sure to run the solar conduits along the edges of the house so they wouldnt stand out. Maybe too good cause we still get bothered by the other solar guys asking us to install solar...

We appreciate the honesty of SDAC and their ability to not pressure us/up-sell us on a system we didn't need.
Our outdoor AC unit is still using freon, but still worked for our small house. We wanted to make sure it wouldn't break during our (possible last summer in the house, so we requested maintenance from a different company. That company suggested we would need to replace the entire system and quoted us for a total replacement of our AC and heating system even though we explained weren't going to be in the house for much longer and the unit we have has been working.
SDAC actually listened to us and said we wouldn't need to replace everything if we were only going to be here for another year or 2, but the freon units are now banned in California so they couldn't legally replenish it, and they could just replace the outside unit to make sure it our system wouldn't die on us during the summer. The installation was very quick and we now have a system that we're not worried will give out on us during the summer heat. We highly recommend this company.

Patrick responded to me immediately and had Anton out the next day. Anton found the issue with my system within a few minutes. He double-checked everything else to make sure that everything was running well and ready for the summer. The service charge was less than the competitors I had spoke to before selecting SDAC. I'm going to use them again in the future!

We had a AC repair issue at our office. The AC machine was not performing. The SDAC team came sharply at the appointment time and found the real problem without proposing any unnecessary repairs. Completed the Service within 2 hours and made the AC work immediately. The cost of repairs are very reasonable and I provided good amount of tip in appreciation of their prompt and high value service. I will recommend SDAC to my contacts and friends. Anton was excellent. Arrived at designated time and immediately discovered the issue that being the pilot light was turned off by the tenant and wires cut. He immediately solved all the issues and I would definitely call and request Anton again and again and again thank you greatly.

From start to finish, the inspection, bidding process, and installation of our new furnace and a/c unit was professional and trouble free. Both Anton, and Harrison, patiently answered all of my questions before the sale, allowing the purchase to be stress free. The system is working perfectly and based on everything I experienced with SDAC, I recommend the company for any heating or air conditioning needs.

I had about 6 different companies go to my rental property and assess what it would take to get central heat and air conditioning. SDAC seemed to be the most direct and clear. I researched the brands they use and saw that they are top of the line. They scheduled me within the week and had everything installed within two days. They went out of their way to remove my old furnaces and air conditioners. They also filled in the empty spaces with drywall without charge. I couldn't have asked for more. I would highly recommend this company!

We hired SDAC to put in a brand new HVAC system with duct work and everything. We are so incredibly happy with the quality, efficiency, and professionalism of the workers and the company. The pricing is competitive and reasonable. Compared to the big companies, SDAC is superior in all aspects. They were able to recommend a wonderful system and we have had zero issues. We have now had the system almost a year and will continue to use SDAC for ongoing maintenance and tune ups.
Don't shop with those large companies they will rip you off, go with a local company such as SDAC. I promise you will be extremely happy with their work like I am.

I am always skeptical when I see many high ratings for a business. Well, this business has earned them. I needed to have a package unit replaced. I contacted several companies, and of course, had different sales pitches. While those companies seemed sincere with each price wildly different, SDAC won my business. Art, the sales rep, listened to my needs and worked hard to meet them. He truly offered the best all around proposal- product, service and price. Then when it came time for installation, Anton’s crew performed courteously and efficiently. So yes, 5 star rating is earned.
