I was referred to this place by my brother. I took my car for smog and lights and break checks. They were very friendly and did a great job. My passenger door was making some noise which was very bothersome. They fixed that as well without any extra charge. I would definitely recommend this place.Thank you again!

We were told by Autozone we needed a new alternator so we took our car to S&T who tested our car again and said our alternator was fine. Honest people at S&T.

Coming from Santee, this location was recommended to me by co-workers. I was driving around with the family on Sunday evening before Labor Day when the dreaded engine sign popped up on the hood of my car. Calling my usual spot on the holiday and it was closed, decided to try S&T and oh man did they not disappoint! Not only did the owner squeeze me in right before the shop closed but provided multiple recommendations of things I should try to do so not only to save time and money but to overall just have a better smooth drive with the family. Honestly, have not had this type of taylored care outside of my barber and dentist appointments. Highly recommended, a gem for Lakeside.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement

Steering stabilizer went out on my Jeep. Being on vacation we were stuck on the side of the freeway. Had it towed during the holiday weekend to the only place that was open, S&T Auto. Sam and his crew were super helpful and friendly.

This place has serviced my car a few times now and always happy to say they do a great job and know what they're doing. They are busy and manage to get you out the door as soon as possible. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an auto shop in the East County! ask for Sam! Very kind and friendly.

Dropped off my car for oil change and a checkup, The owner said it had a couple small things to repair. I came back the next day to find out my bill went up all the way to a $1000. He said he did the repairs without my permission as in his opinion it had to be fixed and I must pay him!Avoid this guy, total scam!

Auto body repairs are expensive, probably more so if you live in Marin. In 2006 someone drove past our parked car and took-out the mirror. A coworker mentioned S&T and the experience was perfect. Fifteen years have passed and - dang! - lost that mirror again. Crossed the Bridge, went back to S&T and had another great experience. (I saw another reviewer suggest that the shop talks past the woman, to the man. That did not at all happen with us.)

I have a fleet of vehicles that they maintain for the last 12 years. I take my personal vehicles there as well. Sam and Tarik take pride in customer service and their team really know cars. I highly recommend them

I had to get my engine swapped for my Hyundai Genesis coupe and sam and his team did a very good job. The car runs great and would definitely come back if I needed more work done.

They did some electrical work on my car and they did it quickly and efficiently. When he was showing me later what he had done it was really much more thorough and professional than I had even hoped for but I don't really know much about cars so basically it was an education in the right way of doing things because initially I just tried to replace some lightbulbs in the headlight but then he showed me that it was a little bit more of a complex problem and that's why the first lights that I installed didn't work
