My husband and I had already gone to our usual auto place in Miramar to get the inside of the car checked while we were waiting to hear back from the insurance so I could drive it. We decided to try a closer shop for the outside and went to one that our insurance recommended for us. We were surprised and thankful for the work they did on the car. Not only did they seem to fix the outside beautifully, but, they also surprised me by cleaning the interior of the car, floors, seats, etc. It looked like when I first bought it!
The reasons we had to take off a few stars was due to their lack of communication, updates, and having no follow through when they would tell us something. We ended up having to spend a lot on rental cars for weeks and, eventually, I could not go to work for a few days because we decided not to get anymore cars, which would have been longer if I had not been calling in every 3-4 days to check-in with them. Sadly, this could have been avoided if they had better communication (I have added details on yelp). I would say that if you have good insurance that is able to cover everything you need so you can relax about when you get your car back, then this is a good place for you. However, if you need to pay for this out of pocket, I would look somewhere else so you get your car back faster and do not need to spend as much.
Overall, we will be taking our car to our usual auto place from now on as they did more work inside, and yet they still called us throughout the day with updates as they happened, sent us a detail email estimate with photos, finished the car that same day at half the price, even when they had more things that needed to be fixed then what needed to get done at Lloyd's..... 3 weeks for a bummer and headlight fix.

I recieved the best ever service and complete caring I have ever recived from any company. LLoyds is the best and fixed my car, dealt with the insurance, kept me informed and smiled the whole time. They even cleaned my car inside and outside before I picked it up. Cudo's to Bobby and the whole staff. I will highly recommend them to anyone who needs repair. Thanks LLoyds.

Its not just the great work they do, but the entire customer experience. They always meet their commitments, the project is complete when they say it will be done or sooner. If you need a rental car Lloyds has a relationship with a provider and the rental car will be waiting for you at their shop when you need it and the rental car company will pick it up from there when you come to pick up your car. If you need more work done than originally anticipated, Lloyds will work directly with your insurer as a trusted facility to adjust your claim. Truly a extraordinary and exemplary customer experience speacialist. Lloyds is invovled in the community and gives support to a number or organizations and causes. Lloyds is a family run operation with deep roots in the region, you will not find more engaged business leaders. Thank you Lloyds for all that you do, your community is grateful and in your debt!

Armando went above and beyond to help me. I only went in for an estimate, and he knew likely I wasn't going to get the work done, but he gave me detailed information on how to handle my situation and was extremely honest. He has 40(?) years or so in the business and understands the ins-and-outs, from the work itself to how insurance works. I had follow up questions which he also made himself readily available to answer. This alone sets the shop apart for me, especially after getting estimates and dealing with other shops. I didn't necessarily have bad experiences, but I definitely had a much better experience here.

I have a rare Pontiac that needed some work and I had been to 4 other shops, including a dealership, Bob Stall Chevrolet, and all of them refused to work on the car because of the “rarity”. The auto-body shop manager of Bob Stall recommended that I talk with Lloyd’s Collision in Lakeside. I went to met Michael Lloyd in Lakeside and he was confident they could take care of my car and he was 100% correct! His employees are nice and courteous, they were timely with the work and it looks great! I am going to take another vehicle to them for some restoration work. Came by today to see if some scuffs could be buffed out of my rear passenger-side quarter panel after someone grazed my car pulling into a tight space. I tried to buff it out at home first with no luck, but these guys took care of it for me at no charge in just ten minutes. Vanessa and Eileen up front were lovely. Comfortable waiting room with coffee bar. Everyone I met on the way in was very nice and helpful. If I need cosmetic repairs on my vehicle in the future I would not hesitate to bring it here. It was nice to get to text the girl who hit me that the issue was resolved at no cost to either of us and relieve some of her stress. Thanks again, gang!

My brand new car was hit on the drivers side rear door while parked in a store lot, luckily I caught the person in action and was able to go through AAA. They recommend Lloyds as a preferred collision repair shop so that's where I went. I was initially worried because my paint is unique white with a beautiful silver pearl tint and specific to my vehicle and I didn't know if they would be able to match it. The final product was amazing, it looks brand new again! I would like to point out, however, that although the final product was awesome, the ladies in the office - especially Vanessa, are the main reason I'm posting this. They are so kind and organized and the communication is top notch, I was immediately put at ease. They kept in contact throughout the process and my vehicle was completed ahead of schedule. Highly recommended- 5 stars
