This place was absolutely disgusting.Rat and mouse poop everywhere. Crawled on us while we were sleeping. The door has signs of a break in, and the frame hadn’t been replaced. THIS IS A NIGHTMARE. They said they would correct all the issues and a month-ish later they have ghosted us. STAY AWAY!!

Great marina, not hotel, at the dam end of the lake. Very affordable, easy access, and an outstanding restaurant right there before you head back down the hill.
Rooms: There are no rooms. Not a hotel, but a restaurant and marina.

Booked here for a little family getaway. Nothing was as described in the expedia booking we booked through. Was offered a refund and told we would get it back through expedia as it was not as described in the listing. It's been 3 weeks and no response back from the hotel and no refund either. Pictures are very misleading as well.

Rooms: The whole cabin needs cleaned, painted and maintained. Not all windows are screened. Outdoor chairs were broken. Mouse droppings in the silverware draw, large mouse trap underneath sink, mouse in bathroom at 1300. Not all bedrooms had doors. No curtains in the whole cabin, we used our own towels since none were provided. Limited supplies in kitchen.
Safety: Maintenance shed with tools and paint, ladders, etc was left open in front of cabin. Keys didn’t work, oven didn’t work x3 days, toaster broke, pontoon boat wasn’t gassed up and ready when we reserved it months ahead, first boat ignition didn’t work, 2nd boat wasn’t gassed up, 3rd boat almost sunk leaving the dock. No handrails on stairs. Nothing was addressed, fixed or compensated.
Noteworthy details: Do not stay here!!!!

Disappointed with the service.
Arrived there for rental fishing boat, was told no boat and can’t refund same day.
Spent weeks for refund, so hard to communicate. Finally agreed, but no refund at all, then start to disappears.
Had to ask bank to dispute.

Be CAREFUL if you are renting a BOAT there‼️There website might not work. I reserved a boat two weeks before my arrival and I paid on their website. But when I got there they told me there is no boat available and they are all booked for the next two months. (TBH I don’t know how is that possible) and they told me bunch of things that my reservation is fake, since the reservation is from their owner’s personal email instead of their business email, and the reservation number #8 is not valid. They told me this might be a fraud or something wrong with their system. They note down my info and told me they will investigate and refund me if possible. But after a week I still haven’t seen the refund. I sent an email to the owner, but NO Response🥲 I called the owner, he told me they already issue me the refund. But 1 week after, still NO Refund. I don’t with struggling with this place. I have to call my credit card to dispute this.
Worst worst experience. Don’t rent your boat here!!!!

We pretty much live at Huntington Lake in the summer and watched the different flexes over the years. Despite the changes, the things we love still hold true: it's the best patio and view in the lake. The food is always great to fantastic. The ice cream. And did i say ice cream? Someone always gets the stellar burger. The photos represent the Huntington Cobb and the Seared Salmon with grilled veggies and chimichurri. So delicious. Enjoy!

Found out that a tree fell on my condo rental six days before the start of my vacation. Thankfully, there was still availability at Huntington Lake Resort Cabins. I booked it immediately without doing a lot of research. Then, when my family started reading reviews, I pretty much had a mutiny on my hands. I'll admit that there were quite a few exceptional reviews. So I told my family they could do whatever they wanted, but I was going to Huntington Lake. Eventually, they warmed up to my plan and we are all here now and having a great time. And, the bad reviews proved to be exaggerated. We are in a two-bedroom cabin. It is clean. All the windows are fine and all have screens. The bathroom and kitchen have been recently renovated: new sink, new shower, and new toilet (which works fine). Toilet paper, hand soap, shampoo, etc., are provided. All four burners on the stove work. We haven't tried the oven. It's not like we're planning to bake. There's a microwave, coffee maker, and a regular refrigerator/freezer (not a mini-fridge). The place has plenty of sleeping space: three queens and a twin. Even my finicky family members say the beds are comfortable and the sheets are clean. The rental is obviously meant for sleeping and light cooking, as it is otherwise sparsely furnished. That said, there aren't utensils, plates, etc., or bath towels. No wifi at the cabin either. However, there also aren't any critters of any kind, not even the mouse that other reviews mentioned (not that I'd mind - it's a cabin in the woods after all).Rooms: Plenty of comfy beds and clean sheets.Food & drinks: The restaurant is a five minute walk from the cabin. The service is good. So far, I have only gotten a milkshake, ice cream and cheese fries. All were good. The wifi at the restaurant is good too. I was able to attend a zoom meeting inside my car parked near the restaurant. Also, the restaurant patio doesn't get very crowded, has comfy chairs, and a great view of the lake.

Didn't know that the season was over and everything closed. Wish the website had said that. No cell service, a tiny bit of sporadic wifi. Lake had been almost drained. I'm sure it's beautiful when full and in season. Must have just caught it. Late.
