I would sincerely love to leave a 0 star review on this place. This establishment clearly does not care about your animals health and well-being. I bought a dog second hand months ago and now he's sick. I'm no longer in contact with the old owner but remember that he said he took my dog to this "vet". So I call to get his medical records so that I don't give him the same vaccinations twice(I've called on for medical records at 3 other vets in the past with my second hand pets, no problem at all). Super rude lady answers the phone, tells me the records are confidential because I may have stolen the dog. Wtf? And only the previous owner can release the records. I said we're not in contact anymore, I'm the owner now and I need my DOGS records not the old owners info. It's for the HEALTH of my pet! Isn't that what a vet is supposed to do, keep your pet healthy?!?! Have you never lost someone's contact info before, lady?! Give me a break, now my dog is the one that's going to have to suffer because of your "privacy policy" trash. Please, don't support this place. If you actually care about your pet, then take your pet to a vet that actually cares.

I would give them zero stars. We took our dog in because he was having difficulty breathing, Dr. Grace Robert's examine him, but before we were question about what we fed him and given a very lengthy lecture about the dog food we fed him (canidae), ok fine, but can we find out what is wrong with him! exray's blood work, med's Totaling $1134.58. The blood work showed his kidney function high on the normal range so she prescribed meds for that as well as an antibiotic. She also wanted to do a thyroid test which I denied I wanted to see how he did with the meds and then take him for a second opinion, she put in her notes that I refused other tx due to the expense! Four days later our dog was extremely ill not being able to breath he was suffering so much . We rushed him to an ER vet who immediately new what his problem was (larynx paralysis). She explained due to his age the complications from surgery would probably be to much for him, we had to euthanize him. I believe that Main Street Vet takes advantage of pet owners inflating the costs with no concern for our pets!

I would not recommend main street veterinary because of the misdiagnosis from Dr. Robert's our dog suffered immensely! Our dog was having a very difficult time breathing . Dr. Robert's was very condescending as she examined Norton,no empathy at all. The cost was astronomical we spent $1000.00 exrays, bloodwork, exam and unnecessary medications, this was in one day. Four days later our dog suffered immensely he could not breath we rushed him to and ER vet this vet new in an instant what was wrong! After discussing his diagnosis with this very kind vet we all agreed on euthanizing our dog. I believe Main Street veterinary cares more about driving up the cost and selling unnecessary medications then they do about the quality of care they give to our beloved pets. I highly recommend NOT using Main street veterinary. I only marked one star, if there was a choice I would have chosen negative 5 stars.

One bad review after another and yet they keep doing it their way. The manager (not the owner) who's name starts with an "S" actually hung up on me when I was politely, calmly complaining. I was shocked! Doctor Moreno took my stray cat who had to be carried in the bottom part of a carrier(they took the top off) into the back room because he was terrified, threw her clip board on his body an started to carry him out. When she saw the look of horror and shock on my face, she took the clip board off of him. He was now shaking. Only a sociopath who has no feeling or empathy for animals could do that. My God, what did she do to him in the back room when I wasn't watching? Doctor Moreno is also simply not happy and not friendly. I've never seen her smile. When I took my dog in to get his teeth cleaned he came home and I noticed his tooth was missing!!!!!! They pulled his tooth and charged me, without asking me!!!! OUTRAGEOUS! There is a serious emotional disconnect here. These people are in the wrong field. I have so many other issues with this vet clinic. Too many to list. I called the owner and told her about all of this and she excused all of it. The fish rots from the head. We are now taking our 8 animals somewhere else. But, hey, you got to be right!

Run as far and as fast as you can from this place! Took my pup in for a sporadic limping issue, the vet NEVER once had him get up and walk, never examined him and made the diagnosis that his CCL was ruptured and probably beyond repair. She took him back for x-rays and said she would call when he was ready to be picked up. This was 9AM. By 4 they still had not called. I called them, was told to come in that we needed to have a serious discussion. When we arrived there, we were told that he has really bad hip dysplasia and because he is aggressive, should be put down. I told them when I made appointment that he was strange leary, but not aggressive. We also told the vet tech to not reach for him but let him come to her. She didn't listen and he gave her a warning growl. She did it again and this time he gave her a warning bite. Nothing hard, but enough the d*** blonde got the message. Anyway, we were told everything is beyond repair. How can you say that when what you're looking for doesn't show up on x-rays??? Got charged for other stuff that hadn't been authorized. This place is a joke. Was also told he would be totally unable to get around by the time he is 2 because of his hips. When I told her to forget about me putting him down, she smuggly replied "Well, you can always get him a doggie wheelchair.". Took him to Dr. Holmes at Wasson and he checked him out thoroughly and looked at the x-rays then told me that there is absolutely nothing wrong with his hips. As far as the ruptured CCL, he saw no signs of that being the case but instead identified Pano as the issue. No compassion or any type of bedside manners. This place is awful! HEED THIS WARNING...RUN!!
