Last place we could get a room at but at a good price. AC worked well and that's what saved us during the heat wave but place could be a lot better w more detail to inside and outside attention.
Able to sleep so that's what mattered most to me.

It's an older place but the rooms are updated and clean. Front desk was very friendly. Seems like a lot of people actually live there but were no problem. Parking is a little on the tight side but it's 50 yards from the lake. I'd stay again

I had bed bugs in my room upstairs. Another room downstairs had cockroaches.

They don't have rooms for people in wheelchairs.
Plus, the staff parks in the disabled parking with no disabled plates or placards.

Arrived and was welcomed by the manager Danny. What a nice guy, so welcoming! We reserved a king size bed best nights sleep in weeks. The scorching hot water was phenomenal, matching the water pressure. Room cleaned everyday, loved the smell of fabuloso. Asked for an extra blanket and it arrived quickly. I highly recommend the Anchorage Inn. We will be returning every 4 months. Thank you Danny!!!

I was looking at booking here for a quick visit to family. I decided not book for two reasons: one, I was reading their terms of service and apparently in addition to the night pet fees, they also charge a $2500.00 pet deposit up front. Like.... You're a 2-star motel, my pets could destroy the room entirely and it wouldn't cost $2500 to start from scratch. And second, when I called the motel to ask if that was a typo, the gentleman kind of snickered and said, "yeah, wow," like it's the first time he's ever heard of it. I asked if many people have an issue with paying the power deposit and he replied that people do it all the time. I noted the fact that he admitted this was the first time he's heard of the deposit, but claimed to accept these all the time. Then he hung up on me.Bad policy. Bad service. Bad news.

What can I say about Anchorage inn? 1. smells gross the two bedroom 1 bath suite by the pool. 2. missing couch cushion 3. moldy bathroom 4. fan dirty and clogged with moldy dust mites 5. no blinds on sliding door 6. no curtains 7. dirty floors white socks that I wear are now black 8. does not clean it 9. water leaking patch in bathroom 8. UnHeathly all the way around for humans and pets 9. Colors are great 10. Ac works 11. TV's are great Won't stay here ever again

Always love to view and take in the lake I didn't partake in staying at the Anchorage inn but I did get to walk around in enjoy the beautiful surroundings

I've been coming to this hotel for years although they have had some updates. They now longer have a bbq or any type of way for you to cook meals, they should consider getting one again since other hotels in area have them. My family and friends had to go to a park to go bbq and the local one next to here doesn't have a fire either.
